"The staff in the hotel were very helpful. I stayed for 4 nights. When I checked in on day 1 I went to my room. The room was very dusty and there were holes in the carpet. The bath was running when I got to the room and I couldn’t turn it off. I contacted reception to report the issue and they agreed to change my room after someone come to look at the issues. Checked into the second room and the theme was the same. Dusty carpets and skirting boards, bathroom not the cleanest either. Other than the cleanliness of the rooms, the hotel is nice & the staff are friendly. The hotel is in need of a refurb though"

"Booked this place for 2 nights while hosting a party. Very nice room on the 3rd floor with a good view. Amenities were decent but the room was boiling!! Extremely brilliant staff who elevate the experience. Recommended as they're a decent price."

"The room was a normal PI room, comfortable bed, clean with a good shower etc. Breakfast was excellent - special thanks should go to the very friendly helpful staff member "in charge" of breakfasts during our visit (8/12 June). You park in a "nearby" multi storey car park, with a discounted rate for PI guests. The only problem was that because of road closures we found it very difficult to actually get to the specified car park - maybe a map would be helpful !!"

"Lovely hospitality received from the lady (Dawn) of the house. Fantastic breakfast with nothing too much trouble. We booked the small double room (1) that was our error, the room was clean & warm but as titled, it was small, however it does have a huge bathroom, good job we are reasonably slim. I would go back but definitely book a different room even if travelling alone. Great base location for ironbridge and surrounding areas. Wonderful period building that has been lovingly restored and decorated. Dawn is a wonderful cook/baker, we sampled her wares (cakes) after returning from a day walking. "

"If you looking for somewhere to stay to visit Ironbridge or the surrounding area, look no further. The Viaduct Guest House is brilliant. The house has been beautifully restored to a very high standard by the owners Kay and Paul. A lot of thought has gone into the bedroom design along with a relaxing lounge. There was nothing to fault! Quite an achievement. The breakfast was excellent and my wife was very impressed with the lengths that they went to to cater for her dairy intolerance. including oat milk already in our room on arrival. Kay and Paul are superb hosts who work hard to know the guests and to ensure that they have a memorable break. We will be returning in the future."

"Superior double room is not what you get.. plain, bare white walls, missing light bulbs, broken plug socket. Bathroom- not even a hook to hang your towel on, let alone somewhere to put your toiletries or clothes. Even the basics of a toilet roll holder don’t exist. Seriously underwhelming and not as described online. No parking, half hearted greeting from staff. Management need to look up definition of superior and make the room fit or provide an honest advert for their room. Tea and coffee provided, but only one teabag each!"

"We did pay a lot for the view of the bridge but the warm welcome, cleanliness, linens, cake ! tea, coffee bags and wonderful breakfast made it a lovely stop on our way to our holiday in North Wales. It was up the hill and away from the main road with parking available. The fan was handy in the heat too Perfect ( except for the England v Ghana result that evening)"
