I am writing about the buffet breakfast we went to from our hospital as a celebration post a conference we attended. We were told it cost 1600 and they would give us a discount. No mention that if we got a discount, it would be a working lunch! The spread was the worst I have ever seen. The desserts were awful. On the next table was a group who had paid the full amount and were constantly being served starters etc which were “ not for our discounted” table. Never has a 5 star treated us like the way we were. Just feel very cheated and humiliated, especially since our hospital staff are regular customers there. The FN B ***ager didn’t even bother to apologise but kept saying it was a working lunch! Such a awful working lunch in a 5 star place? Marriott group needs to look into this. Their reputation is at stake

I am giving a rating of 1 only because there is no zero rating. I had to stay there for a night on an official visit and really regretted the decision. It felt like a lodge with nice bathroom fittings. Other that the new taps, nothing was nice about the place. The towels looked as if they had been snatched out of a donkey's mouth. The sheets looked brown as if washed in gutter water. I was scared of getting some disease just by staying the night. The room was so tiny that I felt suffocated and kept the door open all night! There were no windows. Since the room was on the 27th floor, I expected great views and breeze, but instead got four damp walls! Breakfast was included, and it was a unique experience all by itself! the 25th floor is the refuge area, and in that they have placed a few tables and chairs as a ”restaurant”. The servers had no clue when the breakfast will start and what the menu was. There were no fans since it was the refuge area and they opened the sliding doors for air! All kinds of building and fire violations were happening. The lift on that floor could not be called from outside, so I walked down to 25th floor and then brought the lift up. Had to do the same with my luggage while checking out. No one around to ask or guide. Intercom was not working. The staircase had ”servants toilets” which were unimaginably dirty and piled with garbage. Thankfully I only had to spend 8 hours in the place and checked out as soon as I could. To think that my company paid 4000 for this!

I had a stay at Hotel Satkar Residency in March 2022 and July 2022 for more than 30 days. An excellent hotel in Thane. Service very good. Service in their restaurant superb. They pamper you! Only minus point would be with laundry quality which is of course outsourced and needs improvement. I enjoyed their hospitality very much and would like to stay again on my next visit.

Went with a toddler, as a family. Pros: Service was good. Food was good. People were nice. Location was decent. Had a reasonably pleasant stay. Cons: Room size was very very small. The bathroom was also cramped with the requirement of closing one door, before accessing the other. It was frustrating. I know Mumbai is expensive but I couldn't compare sizes/ value for money. So although this was frustrating, not reducing a star for this aspect. There were hardly a few feet around the bed. In that space, there were glass shelves protruding, to keep the TV set top box. We kept getting hurt. That must be moved above 7 feet. Towels were not that clean. The size made the stay a bit unpleasant.

I am writing about the buffet breakfast we went to from our hospital as a celebration post a conference we attended. We were told it cost 1600 and they would give us a discount. No mention that if we got a discount, it would be a working lunch! The spread was the worst I have ever seen. The desserts were awful. On the next table was a group who had paid the full amount and were constantly being served starters etc which were “ not for our discounted” table. Never has a 5 star treated us like the way we were. Just feel very cheated and humiliated, especially since our hospital staff are regular customers there. The FN B ***ager didn’t even bother to apologise but kept saying it was a working lunch! Such a awful working lunch in a 5 star place? Marriott group needs to look into this. Their reputation is at stake

A special word of mention goes for Lax*** from the Reservation Desk who did all kinds of workability for accommodating us, though being so very hard pressed because of year end scenario. The Front Desk ***ager Ms. Lovely who ensured to give all her care and attention throughout be that on our arrival until we leaving. She ensured to not get us disappointed anywhere to the extent of even accompanying ***** with us to our room. The Bar & Beverage ***ager - Keith who ensured to release out his time for us to interact with him whenever we were around to give us the much needed solace and laughter under his care and attention. Yogesh-The Bell Boy who is such a delight to be around with who not only holds an amazing personality but is one of the most sweetest of person I having met. A rare individual to be found these days who is so gentle, polite and highly comforting. Hope he achieves much more greater success in the hospitality industry unlike to what he is currently doing out of responsibility which actually doesnot justify to his personality which is meant for him to achieve much more bigger. The overall staff of Astria the in-house Restaurant which I can't express in words to what all they did forth in order to solve off our hunger pangs when we happened to miss out on the breakfast schedule. The House-Keeping staff too was always on their toes and readily available whenever we required of anything even though a whole lot was going at the same time at the facility especially of a certain VIP event. Lastly my word of gratitude even goes for the security personnels at the gate who remain energetic and most responsible throughout to cater to our car parking worries. Always more than ready to help & assist by providing timely valet services. May God bless everyone for Express Inn to become even more valuable to what it already is
