JI Hotel (Tianjin Cultural Center)

Awesome hotel that made my day. It is very close to the station and famous attractions. The service is meticulous, responsible and conscientious. Let travelers feel the warmth of home. but! They have too many steps at the door and I don't like the process.

I booked an hourly room, and the front desk staff told me that I had to wait for the room. I said that hourly rooms are based on time periods, and I came during the time period you marked, so why should I wait? They immediately said that they would upgrade the room for free, and I could check in right away without having to wait. As a result, as soon as we entered the room, there was a huge smell of smoke, and it was extremely cold. I called to ask, and they said that the air conditioner was not working and there was no heating. It was probably because the floor heating was not fully turned on, so they asked the technician to open all the floor heating valves. You turn on the floor heating after opening the room for an hour. Don’t you know that the temperature in the room is low when you are cleaning it? Or is it that the manager is unable to even inspect the rooms? What can he do? Since you have met All Seasons' requirements, I suggest you cancel the All Seasons sign!

The room was nice and the location was great, close to the stations of Line 1, Line 5 and Line 6. But there was one bad thing during the whole process. The robot that delivered the food got stuck in the morning, so when we received the food, it was already half an hour after delivery and the food was cold. It was very regrettable. In addition, screen projection can only project sound but not the picture, which is quite regrettable.

The twin beds were put together to form a large bed, which was very comfortable for 2 adults and 1 child. To park, you need to go to the parking lot across the street, which is shared with several restaurants. The parking attendant is quite nagging and there are a lot of rules. Nearby are Guifaxiang, Tongfahao, 2 large shopping malls, museums, and art galleries, all within walking distance.

I was watching a play at the cultural center and didn't want to go home at night, so I went straight here. The receptionist didn't smile much and seemed to look down on customers like me who didn't have breakfast. But there is a time-honored Tianjin steamed bun shop just a few hundred meters away, so why should I eat here? The toothbrush was so hard that I took it home and used it as a brush. The soundproofing is so poor that you can even hear normal conversations next door, not to mention other sounds.

This is the worst hotel in terms of hygiene among all the Four Seasons hotels I have stayed in. There is another very important issue, which is that the underground parking spaces provided by the hotel cannot accommodate the SUV. When I arrived at the hotel parking lot, I was told that the SUV could not go down to the underground parking lot, so I had no choice but to park the car in a non-parking space.
