UrCove Tianjin Eye
"The hotel is right next to Jin'gang Bridge, and it's just a 10-15 minute walk to the Tianjin Eye Ferris Wheel. Make sure to go out and explore at night – the night view is absolutely stunning! The soundproofing in the hotel is excellent, and it's very clean. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. To the right of the hotel entrance, there's a Yifa Shun Halal Restaurant that I highly recommend trying. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. The only downside to the hotel is that parking isn't very convenient. 🙁"
Hampton by Hilton Tianjin Railway Station
"Absolutely fantastic! All the attractions are nearby, making it super convenient to get around. The room is spacious, and the large windows offer bright, panoramic views of all the sights. The service is warm and friendly. I've stayed at several Hampton by Hilton hotels in China, and this one definitely has the best views. Next time I'm in Tianjin, I'll be staying here again! 🌹"
The St.Regis Tianjin
"Not recommended mainly due to disappointment of its name being St Regis. Service was significantly below the brand elsewhere. Location is excellent as the Haihe River is right outside of the hotel. Riverside 66 (Hang Lung shopping mall) was across the street. Dinner buffet at 40% off for hotel guests but no excitement. The discounted price barely justify the food at buffet. Service at breakfast was not meeting the standard at any hotel: 1. A young waiter collected the cutlery of my wife when I told him that “not finished”. His facial expression was bad and whispered “what a big deal” when he walked away. Note he has not asked if he can collect! 2. On another day, no one cleaned up the table when the guests left … a lot of waiters were around."
Tianjin Golden Crown Hotel
"Very competent staffs and very polite and helpful as well. Room is spacious and clean."
Pan Pacific Tianjin
"I was mentally prepared for anything when I booked this hotel. As an older five-star establishment, the facilities are indeed dated. The wallpaper was peeling, and the curtains wouldn't close properly. However, the location is great, the room is spacious enough, and the bedding is quite comfortable. I wasn't disappointed! But after two days, my biggest takeaway is that there must be issues with the management. Almost all the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant servers, seemed unhappy. At breakfast, two out of three coffee machines were broken. When I informed a server, he completely ignored me, didn't clean out the grounds, didn't refill the beans, and just told me to wait at the one working machine. Additionally, there were housekeeping issues. The floor mat in the room when I checked in was dirty, clearly used by the previous guest and not replaced. When I washed my hair, I found the conditioner bottle was empty. I'm not sure what the standard amenities are here, but my room only had a toothbrush and comb, no shower cap or cotton swabs. Furthermore, the fried dough sticks, soup cakes, and rice cakes at breakfast were not fresh, and the Tianjin Jianbing (savory crepe), which I was most looking forward to, was terrible and inedible. I definitely want to give a shout-out to two front desk staff who were helpful and smiled: Alice, who checked us in and helped us with our luggage 👍🏻, and William, who helped us fix the safe multiple times 👍🏻."
Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City
"Very professional hotel, great room and view, good staff and free complimentary fruit delivered to room after check in"
Shangri-La Hotel Tianjin
"This is by far the best room I've stayed in at a Shangri-La. The high ceilings, efficient air conditioning, and great views were impressive. The spacious bathroom (the heated mirror at the vanity is a nice touch!) and comfortable mattress really stood out. The coffee bar/water station in the center of the room was a highlight. Breakfast and happy hour were excellent, and the heated pool was a nice bonus. The underground parking was convenient. It was easy to go for a city walk on Jiefang North Road by exiting through the back door and crossing the bridge. Getting to Kerry Centre for dining from the main entrance was also very convenient. Overall, the experience was fantastic; I can't find any faults."
Hilton Garden Inn Tianjin Jinnan
"I booked this hotel at the last minute and checked in late at night. Although I called ahead, the receptionist, Gao Ning, didn't seem very professional, which left a bad first impression. Also, when I was checking in, there were toothbrushes scattered on the floor near the elevators in the lobby, which I found very strange. The hotel is new, but it has a noticeable odor. Overall, the experience was just okay."
Youxi Deluxe Apartment Hotel (Tianjin Xiaobailou)
"Gorgeous hotel! Totally recommend 🔥"

Kyriad Hotel (Tianjin Binhai New Area Tanggu Waitan Park)
"The hotel has a great location, very close to Tanggu Station and Binhai Station. There are many restaurants downstairs, making it very convenient, with plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Hongqi Restaurant next door is quite good, and there are also many barbecue restaurants behind it. Getting to tourist attractions by taxi is also convenient! The hotel service is good, but the price is a bit high for the National Day holiday. There was no soap or hand sanitizer. The beds are quite comfortable! This room type is on the inside, with the window overlooking the hallway!"
Ibis Hotel (Tianjin Teda Development Zone)
"Good and affordable hotel, front desk staff are very polite, rooms are comfortable."
Tianjin Jinyue Hotel (Dongjiang Bay Holiday Resort)
"The room was very clean, and the staff helped us push the two beds together against the wall, which made us feel much more secure with our child. It's also very close to the Seashell Park, within walking distance, so we could even come back to the hotel for a shower after exploring the beach in the morning. Super convenient!"
xinheminsu
"The room has been renovated for about a year. It is a simple decoration. The bathroom is quite spacious. There is no TV, but there is a screen projector that can project the screen. The room is very clean. The landlady is very enthusiastic. She only booked her room because she saw the aircraft carrier. The most touching thing After watching the fireworks show, it was difficult to take a taxi, so she sent someone to pick her up. Thank you very much!"
The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin
"Living in Tianjin, and passing through Jiefang North Road every day, I'm already very familiar with this hotel. This time, I wanted to treat my child to a different kind of day, so I decided to book a stay and also added the 'Jungle Adventure' tent experience. The check-in was great; the hotel staff were incredibly polite. They were always ready to offer help and support when needed, without being overly enthusiastic to the point of making you feel uncomfortable."
Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside
"I visited Tianjin right before the May Day holiday, hoping to avoid the crowds, and chose the Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe. First off, its location is simply superb – a quiet oasis in a bustling city, with convenient transportation and stunning river views right along the Haihe. The hotel has a large, secure, and convenient above-ground parking lot. The Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe is definitely one of the best hotels in Tianjin. The service from check-in to housekeeping was exceptional, with friendly and approachable staff. The welcome fruit was abundant and fresh. The room facilities were complete, clean, hygienic, and free of any odors. The hotel gym was simple yet practical. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. During the May Day holiday, the hotel also offered a BBQ seafood buffet on the first floor. As night fell, stepping out of the hotel, the magnificent night view of the Haihe River immediately greeted me. Strolling along the river, enjoying the breeze and chatting, created a wonderfully romantic and happy atmosphere. The hotel is very close to the 'Italian Style Street' (Italian Concession), making it easy to reach by foot or bicycle. For Western food, I recommend the French or Italian restaurants in the 'Italian Style Street'. For Chinese food, I suggest 'Zhenbao Tianjin Cuisine' near the hotel, especially their Eight Treasure Tofu, which is a must-try. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be that the mattress in the room was too soft and uncomfortable."
The Perennial Tianjin, JdV by Hyatt (Tianjinnan Station)
"Service provided is marvellous. Breakfast is excellent. Location is convenient and near to railway station."
Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin
"I bought a promotional package deal for the hotel and it felt like a great value. There was so much included – tea at the lobby bar, afternoon tea at the executive lounge, executive lounge dinner, and more – I couldn't even manage to try everything! I suggest adding more Tianjin-style snacks to the lounge's food offerings; I think that would be even better."
LIVING MINYOUN PERENNIAL TIANJIN(Tianjinnan Railway Station West Square)
"Traveling with kids, cleanliness is a must. During the May Day holiday, we got a free room upgrade for some reason, and the service was exceptionally good. I highly recommend staying here!"
Hyatt Place Tianjin South Railway Station
"This is my go-to hotel whenever I'm in town. It's incredibly close to Tianjin South Station, so walking with luggage is no problem at all. Lin at the front desk was super gentle and her smile was so comforting, making me feel relaxed the moment I checked in. The service was excellent and I felt very safe. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I come back to Tianjin! 🏨"
Meihao Lizhi Hotel (Tianjin Railway Station Shunchiqiao Subway Station)
"When I arrived at the room, there was a layer of dust on the bedding, table, and windowsill, so I asked them to change the bedding. There were mosquitoes in the room, so I got some mosquito repellent from the front desk. Two staff members at the front desk asked for my room number twice. I was almost asleep when they called again to ask for my room number, saying they hadn't registered it. I mean, do they need to ask for a room number three times to remember it? They started calling the room around 9 AM, but the calls were so loud and unclear. Why are they making calls so early in the morning instead of sleeping?"
Yanyuan International Hotel
"I stayed at Yanyuan for most of my trip in Tianjin. It is not the most luxurious hotel but here I felt most welcome. Our room is large, clean and comfortable. Restaurant manager Is nice . He asked chef to cook my son’s order even though it is over their open hour. Thus my son had his favourite dish in Tianjin. Thank you so much. Front desk manager Sally Ge upgraded our room and kindly helped with our every request. We really appreciate it. An apprentice porter is lovely boy and he kindly help me with my luggages every time. He called me “sister”, which reminded me of my brother when he was at this age. All in all, very warm experience in Yanyuan."
Hyatt Regency Tianjin East
"The front desk staff were very professional during check-in, and the service staff were also very enthusiastic. I would choose this hotel again if I have the chance."
