UrCove Tianjin Eye
"The hotel is right next to Jin'gang Bridge, and it's just a 10-15 minute walk to the Tianjin Eye Ferris Wheel. Make sure to go out and explore at night – the night view is absolutely stunning! The soundproofing in the hotel is excellent, and it's very clean. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. To the right of the hotel entrance, there's a Yifa Shun Halal Restaurant that I highly recommend trying. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. The only downside to the hotel is that parking isn't very convenient. 🙁"
Hampton by Hilton Tianjin Railway Station
"Absolutely fantastic! All the attractions are nearby, making it super convenient to get around. The room is spacious, and the large windows offer bright, panoramic views of all the sights. The service is warm and friendly. I've stayed at several Hampton by Hilton hotels in China, and this one definitely has the best views. Next time I'm in Tianjin, I'll be staying here again! 🌹"
The St.Regis Tianjin
"Not recommended mainly due to disappointment of its name being St Regis. Service was significantly below the brand elsewhere. Location is excellent as the Haihe River is right outside of the hotel. Riverside 66 (Hang Lung shopping mall) was across the street. Dinner buffet at 40% off for hotel guests but no excitement. The discounted price barely justify the food at buffet. Service at breakfast was not meeting the standard at any hotel: 1. A young waiter collected the cutlery of my wife when I told him that “not finished”. His facial expression was bad and whispered “what a big deal” when he walked away. Note he has not asked if he can collect! 2. On another day, no one cleaned up the table when the guests left … a lot of waiters were around."
Tianjin Golden Crown Hotel
"Very competent staffs and very polite and helpful as well. Room is spacious and clean."
Pan Pacific Tianjin
"I was mentally prepared for anything when I booked this hotel. As an older five-star establishment, the facilities are indeed dated. The wallpaper was peeling, and the curtains wouldn't close properly. However, the location is great, the room is spacious enough, and the bedding is quite comfortable. I wasn't disappointed! But after two days, my biggest takeaway is that there must be issues with the management. Almost all the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant servers, seemed unhappy. At breakfast, two out of three coffee machines were broken. When I informed a server, he completely ignored me, didn't clean out the grounds, didn't refill the beans, and just told me to wait at the one working machine. Additionally, there were housekeeping issues. The floor mat in the room when I checked in was dirty, clearly used by the previous guest and not replaced. When I washed my hair, I found the conditioner bottle was empty. I'm not sure what the standard amenities are here, but my room only had a toothbrush and comb, no shower cap or cotton swabs. Furthermore, the fried dough sticks, soup cakes, and rice cakes at breakfast were not fresh, and the Tianjin Jianbing (savory crepe), which I was most looking forward to, was terrible and inedible. I definitely want to give a shout-out to two front desk staff who were helpful and smiled: Alice, who checked us in and helped us with our luggage 👍🏻, and William, who helped us fix the safe multiple times 👍🏻."
Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua City
"Very professional hotel, great room and view, good staff and free complimentary fruit delivered to room after check in"
Shangri-La Hotel Tianjin
"This is by far the best room I've stayed in at a Shangri-La. The high ceilings, efficient air conditioning, and great views were impressive. The spacious bathroom (the heated mirror at the vanity is a nice touch!) and comfortable mattress really stood out. The coffee bar/water station in the center of the room was a highlight. Breakfast and happy hour were excellent, and the heated pool was a nice bonus. The underground parking was convenient. It was easy to go for a city walk on Jiefang North Road by exiting through the back door and crossing the bridge. Getting to Kerry Centre for dining from the main entrance was also very convenient. Overall, the experience was fantastic; I can't find any faults."
Hilton Garden Inn Tianjin Jinnan
"I booked this hotel at the last minute and checked in late at night. Although I called ahead, the receptionist, Gao Ning, didn't seem very professional, which left a bad first impression. Also, when I was checking in, there were toothbrushes scattered on the floor near the elevators in the lobby, which I found very strange. The hotel is new, but it has a noticeable odor. Overall, the experience was just okay."
Youxi Deluxe Apartment Hotel (Tianjin Xiaobailou)
"Gorgeous hotel! Totally recommend 🔥"

"The room was clean and well-maintained with complete amenities. The location is very convenient, and the service was warm and attentive. Check-in at the front desk was efficient. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience with great value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip."
UrCove by Hyatt Tianjin West Railway Station Hotel
"The room environment is great, the front desk staff is very welcoming, and the hotel facilities are complete and comfortable. They even upgraded my room. The hotel breakfast is also delicious, so I extended my stay directly."
Atour S Hotel, Henglong Plaza, Binjiang Road, Tianjin
"Decided to visit Tianjin on a whim for some food and fun. Booked this hotel on the train. Atour, as always, delivered consistent quality. The short-haired girl at check-in was friendly and enthusiastic. The location is excellent – right by the subway and a must-try seafood spot. Within walking distance, you'll find Erduoyan, Goubuli, and Zhonglihua, with plenty of places to explore. If you're tired of walking, there's even a tram you can take. Right opposite the hotel entrance is Zhen Sucheng Breakfast, which offers delicious and affordable food."
Asia Pacific Hotel, Binhai High-speed Railway Station, Tanggu Business District, Tianjin
"Clean and tidy, excellent value for money. A really affordable place to stay when traveling."
The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin
"Living in Tianjin, and passing through Jiefang North Road every day, I'm already very familiar with this hotel. This time, I wanted to treat my child to a different kind of day, so I decided to book a stay and also added the 'Jungle Adventure' tent experience. The check-in was great; the hotel staff were incredibly polite. They were always ready to offer help and support when needed, without being overly enthusiastic to the point of making you feel uncomfortable."
Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside
"I visited Tianjin right before the May Day holiday, hoping to avoid the crowds, and chose the Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe. First off, its location is simply superb – a quiet oasis in a bustling city, with convenient transportation and stunning river views right along the Haihe. The hotel has a large, secure, and convenient above-ground parking lot. The Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe is definitely one of the best hotels in Tianjin. The service from check-in to housekeeping was exceptional, with friendly and approachable staff. The welcome fruit was abundant and fresh. The room facilities were complete, clean, hygienic, and free of any odors. The hotel gym was simple yet practical. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. During the May Day holiday, the hotel also offered a BBQ seafood buffet on the first floor. As night fell, stepping out of the hotel, the magnificent night view of the Haihe River immediately greeted me. Strolling along the river, enjoying the breeze and chatting, created a wonderfully romantic and happy atmosphere. The hotel is very close to the 'Italian Style Street' (Italian Concession), making it easy to reach by foot or bicycle. For Western food, I recommend the French or Italian restaurants in the 'Italian Style Street'. For Chinese food, I suggest 'Zhenbao Tianjin Cuisine' near the hotel, especially their Eight Treasure Tofu, which is a must-try. If I had to point out a flaw, it would be that the mattress in the room was too soft and uncomfortable."
Conrad Tianjin
"Checked into Conrad yesterday, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations—definitely a solid five-star standard! The front desk check-in was very efficient, and the staff were consistently gentle and polite. They proactively helped with luggage and introduced the hotel facilities, paying great attention to detail. The guest room was spacious and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering an excellent view; both lighting and scenery were top-notch. The entire room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, making for a very comfortable sleep. The toiletries were of good quality, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation design was well-thought-out. Breakfast offered a rich variety, with Chinese, Western, local specialties, desserts, and drinks all available and delicious, made with fresh ingredients. The public areas were designed with a luxurious and elegant feel, and the gym and pool were clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The location is convenient for travel, suitable for both leisure and business. There were no unpleasant surprises throughout my stay; the service, environment, and facilities were all excellent. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. Highly recommended!"
The Astor Hotel Tianjin
"The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. The overall environment is pretty good, though some of the in-room facilities are a bit dated and could use some renovation. There were quite a few people taking photos inside the hotel. The service was decent. If you're looking to experience a museum-style hotel, this could be a good option."
Clarion Tianjin Hotel
"Old but still quality ,super bargain for tourists"

Tianjin Binhai Shengguang Crown International Hotel
"I was surprised that there is no turn down nigh service with the hotel.. Further, the towels are quite worn with holes in them.. My room smelled of someone smoking in it or it is just that the room used to be smoking years back.. For a quick turn around hotel, it was ok only because of the location."

"Facilities: Good Cleanliness: Good Ambiance: Good Service: Excellent 👍 Includes one round-trip transfer to/from Binhai Airport."
