"We booked our stay purely based on adult only and past reviews. Champagne on arrival, concierge brought out bags to our room as we were an early Flight in so we could relax by the pool whilst our room was prepared. A 100m stroll takes you down hill to a local shop for water and other necessities. The room is spacious and has everything you would need with a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean. We stayed in 711 and we couldn’t get over the volcano stone designed bathrooms with rain shower. One thing myself and my wife enjoyed is that the staff are always on hand to help but aren’t in your face or annoying you. IThe atmosphere is very relaxed I guess being a boutique hotel with 81 rooms they keep it very chilled and we never had to fight for a sun lounger or space by the pool. Unfortunately I can’t remember all of the staff members that made our stay perfect but to name a few Liliana, Daniella and Leo go above and beyond to make It a 5• luxury stay."

"Just got back from an amazing 10 night's in this hotel. Great location right on the beach. The busy Puerto del Carmen strip is a short taxi ride away, took about 5 to 10 mins. Never cost more than 5 euros! The hotel is huge, but well managed by the staff. The resturant is busy but plenty of tables available thanks to how quick the staff clear the tables. The food is typical of most all inclusive hotels and of decent quality. The pool areas are nice with plenty of sunbeds. All the staff at this hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Couldn't fault the hotel at all. Rooms cleaned daily and often leaving a sweet or chocolate on our pillow. Would recommend this hotel and would glady stay here again."

"I went away with my 2 daughters who are 31/29. When we arrived somehow they didn’t have our booking but we had changed this due to Ryanair flights being changed and on the beach booked us an extra night at the start of the stay but the receptionists sorted it all out and we had the room on the ground floor next to the little bar. It was lovely, bright and clean. The kitchen area had everything needed including cloth sponge washing up liquid and tea towel which is great. I ended up sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge which actually was comfy, only criticism is that it could do with more pillows. Bathroom and main room were spotless and fresh towels and linen provided every other day. The pool, daybeds and solarium with sundress are kept immaculate. They cleaned the pool early every morning even scrubbing the white pool surround, gardens and patios areas. Unfortunately we only had a few days of sun but we were able to get beds on those days outside our room. We didn’t order food just drinks from the bar, which were reasonably priced . Our access to the apartment was either lower down or the top of the hill which by the way is worst going down than coming up in heels or wedges is literally 5 mins away which we went to while our apartment was being sorted but the shop over the road is very well stocked and reasonably priced. The location is perfect for quiet or lively days and nights. It’s 2 minutes down the hill to the beach. My only criticism is that the air conditioning isn’t the best and I ended up with a severe chest infection because the dust from it affected my asthma from about day 3. Our feet were black on the bottom from walking bear foot in the lounge area. That’s the only negative in lots and lots of positives"

"First time at this accommodation and it did not disappoint. Good location for shops and the beach with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from in the locality. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Complex well maintained with a lovely pool and jacuzzi. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels supplied. Breakfast has plenty choices and the lunches from the pool bar were very tasty. We were in a refurbished apartment which was lovely - but could maybe do with a little more storage in the bedroom. The complex is lovely and quiet and will definitely be back."

"We stayed in Alondra Villas recently. Start off with positive, staff are lovely, breakfast is excellent and the fact that villas are near each other were ideal for family stay. We were a large family with three villas. Unfortunately a few things really let the place down. Iron that was left for us to use was dreadful with a large brown mark in the centre of it. I ask new one it didn't work the third sent worked but didn't heat properly so was difficult to iron with. The inside of the dishwasher was completely rusted to the point the metal was exposed from a h&s point of view I didn't think it was OK to use. I asked for the inside baskets to be replaced but they said they were waiting on delivery of them so were unable to do anything. Our hot water went off twice wen we were getting ready to go out we were unable to take showers. The sauna that is advertised is not built yet and the spa is in there sister hotel. Two other villas had issue electricity constantly going off and no hot water. No electric kettle left. Boiling water on stove to make tea it took two days for a kettle to be given. Wrong time given for wine tasting and event in golf club. All and all not what u expect from a 5 Star Resort, disappointing. I had got recommended by friends but they had not been for a few years seems corners are been cut and staff under pressure. We won't be back!"

"Just spent 10 days in this faultless hotel. Everything was just perfect . There was a great selection of food which was always hot and tasty. The cold starter selection was my favourite. Staff were all very pleasant and the entertainment guy was fabulous. Sunbeds were never a problem to get. Rooms cleaned everyday and the place is spotless. Yes it is up hill but a taxi only costs around 4 euro but the walk caused us no issues. Ignore all the negatives we had done our research before we went so were aware of the location etc. 5 litres of water can be purchased at reception for €1.50 so saves carrying it back."

"This was our 2nd trip here in August. For more than 2 weeks. Amazing kids entertainment. Nightly music was lovely. Pool very clean. No problem getting beds. Bar the odd day!! Can’t wait to return for our longer trip again this week. Staff are amazing. All of them. So kind. David was so kind with my daughter. Breakfast lovely. We tried dinner one night but it wasn’t really our type of food. The pool bar food is lovely. And the iced coffee is my favourite addiction in Hyde Park! But the drinks at the bar are expensive!"

"Second time here and had a lovely relaxing stay. I was in one of the recently refurbished rooms. I came to relax and that's exactly what I was able to do. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, lovely warm swimming pool with plenty of sun beds. I was half board the evening meals were 4 courses and were different menus each night not a buffet in sight for the evening meal, breakfast was freshly cooked/made for you. Thank you for a lovely stay couldn't fault a thing"

"Excellent stay, we have gone back after a couple of years gap and the hotel is running smoother and exactly as it should. Food is great, something for everyone, the restaurant is busy but we never waited for more than a couple of minutes for a table. The whole resort is spotlessly clean with very friendly staff. Sunlounger reserving does still happen. Some people were sat on them at 8am, others had towels left.. there are notices everywhere asking you not to do that but unfortunately im not sure anybody takes any notice. Overall a great stay, 15 Euros in a taxi from the airport. We we stay again."

"What an amazing place with extremely helpful and pleasant staff, who simply want you to enjoy your holiday the best you can. Nothing seems too much for them. I could single staff members out for their work and engagement but this would be very unfair as all the staff who we engaged with were all 100% efficient, pleasant and always willing to go that little extra. From Breakfast to the end of night. The location overlooks the harbour area of the town, and although up quite a steep hill, can be accessed by both bus and taxis, with taxis so cheap that July 2026 the harbour was roughly €3 where as the far end of the Strip was €6. If you have walking difficulties I would suggest a taxi especially when returning back to the hotel and these are easy to get along the Strip at the beach. We were there during World Cup and taxi's were still plenty. The hotel is spotless and the staff are always on hand for any queries you might have and want you to speak to them, so dont be afraid as theyvare very friendly. Around the pool there is adequate beds and at no point of our holiday did we not get sunbeds, in fact we got the same ones every morning after breakfast, so no need to rush for beds. The sun beds are probably the most comfortable I have ever lay on so go on soak up the rays. These beds are round the pool and also in a sun lounging area to the right of the pool bar. Again loads of very comfortable beds for all. The pools aren't deep as only up to chest hight at deepest parts,so used more of a cool down rather than swim, dont be expecting to do lengths in the pool with one that slopes from a few inches deep running down into the main pool. The other has a waterfall and 3 chairs with air jets pumping through them The grounds are all ramp/slopes so wheelchair friendly for those who cant take steps/stairs so another bonus. Our room consisted of a bed room a "bathroom" (no bath) with walk in shower with hand held and rain shower, and loads of mirrors, with a hairdryer. Everything you need The living room had a sofa and another chair with a large TV, a similar TV was also in the bedroom. Outside we had an area with 2 beds, 2 chairs and table. Everything you need. There is also a minibar but we didnt use it, but it had alcohol ( beer) softdrinks and snacks at hand . I'll definitely consider coming back Again thank you to all the staff who made our holiday even better than we could've hoped for and being Adult Only its relaxing."

"We Arrived for our 5th stay after a smooth flight from East Midlands. We were greeted with a warm welcome, our rooms had been upgraded to a sea view as it was our Silver wedding anniversary, this was unexpected but a nice touch. Our rooms were next to each other and in the main building as requested. Our rooms were perfect, clean, light and airy. We had two bottles of water in the fridge. Tea, coffee, sugar and kettle with cups provided which you can top up yourself from any self serve stations. No iron or ironing board but this can be requested from reception. Safe is free to use. Bathroom was spacious and clean with towels provided. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap all provided, this is organic and locally produced, it’s a lovely product and wish I could buy it to bring home. The rooms were cleaned daily, if you need clean towels leave them on the floor, there is a note you can leave on your bed to have your sheets changed. We were sadly only visiting for a week so did not feel we needed clean bedding. We had flowers, Prosecco, chocolates and a I love RIU bag left in our rooms due to our repeated stays, and for our silver wedding anniversary, again makes you feel welcome and valued . The air con worked well and there is a ceiling fan which I love. The pools on both sides are clean and warm, there is a lifeguard to ensure safety. You are allowed balls in one half of the pool on the quiet side. In the main pools there are daily activities taking place, the entertainment team come across to the quiet pool to make you aware of what’s happening so that you can participate, everyone is included and invited to take part. Bingo at 4 is good fun! You are provided with pool towels on arrival you’ll be given tickets to collect them, there is a towel hut at each pool and you can change them daily if you wish. The huts are open between 10 and 12 each day. There is a pool bar at each pool, serving all spirits, cocktails, wine, beer, soft drinks and hot drinks. There is also Pepe’s food which is burgers, hotdogs, salads, chips, nachos, chicken nuggets, sometimes cheese balls ( my favourite). There are cakes and fresh fruit also. If you prefer you can eat lunch at the restaurant which gives a wider variety of choice. The food from pepe’s was super fresh, replenished regularly and hot. Main restaurant was wonderful, for breakfast there is pastries, hot full cooked breakfast. Meats and cheeses, pate, cereal, fruit, yogurt, smoothies, fresh juice, coffee and on Sunday there is Cava too !The beans were always cold but there is a microwave which I used and it was clean. Every variety of bread along with toasters, (toasters I think could do with being replaced it took nearly 10 minutes to fully toast my bread.) No English bacon or sausage, but everything was hot, fresh and tasty. For lunch there is Burgers and hotdogs, huge salad station with potato salad, pasta, fresh sandwiches and wraps, soups with fresh bread rolls, fish, meat dishes, pastas an"

"What an amazing hotel and service. This was my first trip with family and the location of the hotel is absolutely brilliant, right by the beach and just 5 minutes drive from airport. The hotel was clean throughout and the staff were very helpful. "We are well travelled and stayed in lots of 5 star hotels along with 2/3 star apts. So an informed fair review we feel .. We are sat waiting to leave after 10 lovely days in a one bed apt . The apartments are what we expected , comfy firm beds, nice sheets . Great patio area and sunbeds with mattresses ! Cleaning team are efficient and friendly , however on 2 occasions they did not leave clean towels . ( they are not changed every day which is fine ) they just forgot to replace them . Kitchen area is fine and served its purpose . Bathroom good as grab rails for my husband safety . It was cold for a few days when we arrived so be prepared you have to pay for any heating or cooling as you rent the remote control . Think around 8 50 euros a day ? Check out is 12 which is good. Scooter access to room was superb . Ramps all over Would we come back ? We did say yes …however upon checking out we had to wait for a while for our airport pick up . There is one table and one chair outside in shade ( in fact at all ) I asked reception if I could take a chair from inside to sit in fresh air instead of reception area . They said no ! Said they would get one . I went back after 15 mins as none turned up .. he said he’d asked . After another 10 mins I asked again , no show , so I hunted round and got one from outside myself .. I actually felt really annoyed that they couldn’t be bothered to come tell me no chairs available to sit and wait around pool area . Well 1 ! That’s it . Unbelievable attitude and lack of caring for their guests . My husband said he felt like guests are an inconvenience ..( to reception staff ) I am very disappointed with the way the manager? (Whoever was sat in the office and couldn’t be bothered to come out when I went back twice to complain..) And point blank refused to allow us to get a chair . My husband is disabled , his scooter has gone back , we didn’t want to sit inside the dark reception area . The 2 sofas they have are soft and low and he would struggle to get on and off . Pity that the attitude of the hotel staff made us feel like this as I would recommend the place . As long as you don’t expect any warm welcome or goodbye . We stayed last year at las gaviotas which was not as accessible , not the same standard ( not 4 star ) however the staff couldn’t be more accommodating . Got a ramp so we could get the scooter inside . Annoying end to a great holiday ."

Me&husband did a sangria lesson with javi, thibaut &2ladies&it was great.Very funny&really appreciated they spoke in French,Spanish&English so we all understood.Javi did a fitness class in pool which I enjoyed &even kids joined in.thibaut played chess with my eldest for hours which we really appreciated&he really enjoyed!They also bring the Matt out in the pool every other day which is a HUGE hit with the kids&some adults lol!Danni did archery with the kids&games which they loved.My kids were never bored, age 15.12&8. &the life guards! Especially ones in the pic r AMAZING, they were fantastic with my kids i was never worried my kids weren’t safe&after hearing about a drowning in the past I was concerned but no need they were fabulous.They played with the kids&husband haha &we miss them lots already!If this hotel didn’t have the animation team or these life guards we wouldn’t come back.They make the hotel 1000% we can not thank you all enough for how hard you work&how dedicated u are 2making guests happy. &how much you made our holiday!
