Response from Property: Thank you very much for posting a review about Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo.We sincerely apologize for not being able to meet your expectations during your stay in November.At our hotel, guest rooms are located on floors 9 through 20. Due to the building situated across the street, some rooms may not offer a view of Tokyo Tower but instead face the adjacent building. We deeply regret any disappointment this may have caused.Additionally, while the windows in our rooms are locked for soundproofing purposes, they can be opened using specialized tools. If you prefer the windows to be opened during your next stay, please feel free to let us know. For safety reasons, the windows can only be opened to a narrow width to prevent falls.Regarding late check-outs, we also regret any inconvenience caused. Due to consistently high occupancy rates, we must complete cleaning for the next guests as quickly as possible between the 12:00 PM check-out time and the 3:00 PM check-in time. As such, late check-outs are only available for a limited number of rooms and are subject to an additional fee: • 12:00 PM–3:00 PM: 30% of the room rate • 3:00 PM–6:00 PM: 50% of the room rate • After 6:00 PM: 100% of the room ratePlease note that, depending on daily occupancy, we may not always be able to accommodate requests for late check-outs. We kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.We have shared your valuable feedback internally to work toward creating a more comfortable stay for our guests.
