Hotel The Celestine Ginza Reviews

This is my second time staying at the Celestine, and I'm very satisfied with everything. The hotel's front desk and restaurant service are excellent, making it a great value for money option in Ginza. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Ginza.

The room was small but incredibly cozy. It was spotlessly clean with great attention to detail, and the service was very attentive. Ginza is just around the corner, making the location extremely convenient.

Nice,spacious, clean and good location. I have no complaints about this hotel. Not the most luxurious 5 star hotel but definitely nicer than most hotels in Tokyo.

Second time staying at this hotel and I loved our experience. The room is very spacious and bed is comfortable. And also the view of the Tokyo tower is stunning! The hotel is perfectly located with Lawson just downstairs, Nihonbashi station on the left and Ginza station just 10 minutes away on foot.

Good location in Ginza, but not connected to metro station underground tunnels (a bit inconvenient if weather is bad). Overall a good hotel for business travellers.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the excellent service. Every single staff member went above and beyond to ensure comfort and satisfaction.

Fantastic location! It's only a 5-minute walk from Shimbashi Station, and Ginza Six is also just 5 minutes away. The room is quite spacious for Ginza standards, and the service is excellent!

The lobby is very clean and welcoming, and there are usually many staff around who are ready to help. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from Shimbashi Station, and it's not too far to get to Haneda Airport by car or train. During my stay there was construction nearby, but surprisingly I didn't hear much noise. The level of noise could be different now. If I remember correctly, the construction is supposed to be completed by July 2026, but you should call or email the hotel first. The room I stayed in was luxuriously big for Tokyo standards, and I liked it. The toilet (excluding the bathtub/ shower section), however, was a little small, especially the basin and mirror area. The countertop could be upgraded and expanded. As for sound insulation, every morning I clearly heard the cleaners talking outside. If I were on a phone call or talking to someone in my room, those outside would also be able to easily hear me too. I don't recall hearing any noise from the surrounding rooms, i'm not sure if they were occupied or empty. On my last day, I did some shopping around the city and it happened to rain quite a lot. My shoes and socks were completely drenched. When I returned to the hotel, Ms. Suzuki provided a shoe + sock dryer, which was a great help! I was very happy with the service from Ms. Suzuki, Ms. Mizuno, and another young lady who handled my check-in process (sorry, I forgot your name). On the other hand, there was one senior staff who seemed a bit rushed when I interacted with her. I did not have breakfast at the hotel nor did I use any of the facilities, so I have no comment on those. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others, but the sound insulation should be improved. The hotel's location near Ginza is quite convenient. I chose this hotel primarily because smoking is allowed in the rooms. While the room size is a bit small, it's very clean.

The room was spotless and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again.

This Tokyo hotel is on the larger side, with relatively new facilities and good service. There are many Western guests, and the hotel has very convenient subway access. Using the hotel's dining area, you can get an amazing, close-up view of Tokyo Tower.

Everything was perfect at first — the room was clean, comfortable, and the amenities were great. Unfortunately, around 2:30 AM, it became very noisy. I could hear people shouting, drunk guests screaming, and cars honking outside. It was quite disturbing and made it hard to sleep. Such a pity, as it could have been a perfect stay otherwise.
