I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming small hotel in Ueno, and I can’t recommend it enough! The location is simply unbeatable, with the Ginza Line just a footstep away, making it incredibly easy to navigate the city. We came back at Ueno station from our snowboard trip. Whether you want to explore the bustling streets of Akihabara or visit the serene Ueno Park, public transport options are right at your doorstep.
The hotel itself exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations. My room was cozy and well-appointed, providing a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. Be aware that the room sizes in Japan are usually tiny.
The area around the hotel is vibrant, filled with delightful tax free shops and many street foot options giving you a taste of local life.
Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore Tokyo with convenience and comfort. I can't wait to return!

Great location, hotel looks fresh from a refurb rooms clean and modern. Most importantly my room had a window with a view of Tokyo Sky tree. I love the Asakusa neighbourhood, plenty of little bars and restaurants even found an amazing whiskey bar.

This is the best place to stay in tokyo for a capsule hotel. After you finish in the sauna, hot Spring and ice bath. You're gonna enjoy hanging out in the lounge area. And then you'll walk around the station where there's lots to see and then you'll have a nice rest.Wake up early to do it over again. I can easily stay here for a week or more

Good location, close to the train station and Ameyoko Market. Fully equipped according to standards. Cleanliness should be improved. No housekeeper came to clean. The table in the room was dusty. The staff were slow and did not provide much service when leaving luggage.

The hotel is excellent, comfortable, and fully equipped with all necessary amenities. The room is spacious, and the twin beds are large and comfortable. It’s a fair distance from Ueno Station about 900m but still within walking distance. Overall, I was very impressed.

I would like to write about my stay in Asakusa hotel during 30/4- 3/5 last week
First I would like to appreciate the staff service , they are helpful and caring about my check in arrangement and question . Also the room is also quite good with good setting and daily necessities. I will consider another chance to stay in Asakusa View Hotel on my next trip.
However, I would like to point out our room was noisy during the rainy and windy day , the window had noise and casued trouble for our sleep . Me and my dad were barely slept on that night.

Close to a subway station and opposite a supermarket with surrounding konbinis. Good facilities/amenities e.g. microwave, extra sink, table and chairs. Only downside is small and a bit outdated but for the location, price and amenities I would recommend!

The hotel is located in the Asakusa area, just a short walk from Asakusa Metro Station, which makes it very convenient for getting around. The neighborhood is quieter than the city center, making it a great choice for those who prefer to avoid crowds.
I stayed on the top floor, which was peaceful and quiet, though friends on lower floors mentioned hearing some traffic noise at night. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it was very helpful that the hotel allows you to store your luggage before check-in and after check-out—perfect for making the most of your travel time.
Overall, I had a great stay. I was especially impressed by the rooftop area on the 9th floor, which offers a stunning view of the Tokyo Skytree and the Sumida River. The atmosphere is lovely both during the day and at night.

Is located on a quiet street of Ueno area and walking distance to Ueno Train station. The capsule cabin bed is slightly broader than a few capsule hotel I had stayed. Is quite convenient with restaurants and 7-11 store nearby. The price is affordable and I had a good stay.

Amazing
EElisabhetaeWe were all happy! The perfect location for acquaintance with Tokyo: 4 minutes from the metro, two metro lines nearby which are going very convenient. The standard is new and clean, we had the number 201. The description says that this is a single room, but actually there were 3 rooms in it! Norma is spacious and big! All clean, comfortable bathroom, in the toilet you can open the window and look out, it also liked. The room in modern Japanese style, there are tatami with Japanese table for food receptions, we have always dinner on tatami. The photos fully match the description! Perfect place!

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Hotel Paul House and found it to be excellent value for money. The location is convenient, making transportation easy, and the accommodation itself is very comfortable.
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service from the manager and staff, who were always helpful and accommodating. The hotel also provides useful amenities such as a washing machine, as well as plates, spoons, and other utensils. This makes it convenient for guests to bring food from outside, enjoy it in the lobby, and clean up afterward.
Overall, I was highly impressed with my experience at Hotel Paul House. If I have the opportunity to visit Japan again, I will definitely choose to stay here.

WwaikuanWe're very enjoyable with the stayed here 5 nights. There are direct train from Narita airport to Kuramae station or Asakusa station which within 10mins walk to hotel. The room is consider spacious that can opened fully the large size suitcase. Just the bathroom a bit small but not a problem. There is public bath at level 2, that's a bonus. Many convenient stores & F&B nearby. Walking distance to Asakusa temple. Important, the staffs so friendly and helpful. They speak well English and no communication problems.

Great
XXiaodangaoshidaqiqiWe traveled for 6 days, 3 days in a hotel and 3 days in a hotel apartment.
I searched on Ctrip at that time, just based on my feeling.
But I was so happy! I didn't expect to be so satisfied with the environment and facilities! The hotel apartment is still comfortable!
The hotel is super new. I personally feel that the location is very good! ! It only takes about 10 minutes to walk to Sensoji Temple.
Lawson, 7-11, and family are not far away, and the distance is also quite close!
The coffee on the first floor of the hotel is delicious, and the front desk is also very enthusiastic!
It's just that the quality of the hotel's slippers is too poor! They are worn out every day...😂
Every time I go to the front desk to ask for slippers, I feel a little embarrassed~haha

TTiffany CheongThe hotel is nice and clean and is big enough. The only one thing is the hotel is quite far away from the subway. It takes around 10 min to walk from the subway. It is quite exhausting to walk that far after a long day. Aside from this, others things are good.

JJessyTThe location is near Ueno Ameyoko Shopping Street and Ueno Park. If your departure Airport is Narita, there is this Keisei Train Station for Narita at only 44mins direct train.
This hotel is in between Ueno Station and Ueno Okachimachi Station, you can alight at either Station.
The room is clean but small size. It's my 3rd time staying in this hotel.

WWeezI ain't sure why a lot of people left a very bad comment regarding this property, the room size is quite big compared with JP standard (we got room at 6 floor with 2 beds (5ft size) for 2 person) the location is good (a walking distance to Kuramae station 200-350m (for Toei Asakura & Oedo line), surrounded with good restaurants such as Ramen, Tonkatsu (authentic one open since 1977), origin Japan (ready to eat JP meals & side dishes), etc. including a good Patisserie shops, a convenience stores (Lawson, Family mart, 7-11, local supermarket). Yes they have a rule regarding towels (1/ea/2 nights) & cleaning services (not on daily basis but if you want you can ask them to do), the guy at the receptionist may not always smile but if you asked something he's always respond & support, they have a common area (2nd floor) which there is kitchen, kitchen utensils, microwave, coffee machine, dining table, couches and air conditioning (and they are allowed us to use with free of charge) personally my friend & I would booked this hotel if we visit Tokyo next time.

HHemaThe hotel is in a great location, with a small shopping district downstairs and very close to Sensoji Temple. The room decoration and facilities are relatively new. However, once the room is booked in advance, it cannot be cancelled and the price fluctuates greatly. The price I booked three weeks in advance was almost 1,000 yuan more expensive than the price I booked three weeks later.
