Excellent room and very helpful and extended service from front desk manager Xiao Feng who helped me organise a local tour and order food delivery despite being quite late at night

Very lovely hotel with friendly staffs. Hotel looks great, everything was clean and room was spacious. Good ventilation even though smoking was allowed, no musky mouldy smell, everywhere smelt great. Had a great view from my room too. They had kids amenities like bedroom slippers, toothbrush etc. Breakfast buffet at the hotel had a great spread and tasted great. Additionally, there is a small theme park within 5mins walking distance from the hotel, my kid enjoyed it. Would recommend this hotel 👍🏻

Great service. Big room with an amazing river and mountain view. Automatic curtains and blinds are a nice feature. I used it as a base to Mount Fanjing. I wish I stayed longer to explore the city.

I am a bit bias when it comes to review and critique 5 stars hotel in comparison to others. Having said that let's take a look at this hotel. For a start, and in short, it is a gem! The room is huge, cosy, great location and wonderful view at high floor. I didn't get the name of the receptionist who checked me in. She is so efficient. That was the first give away the standard of this hotel. As i explore the hotel and went to the gym and pool, i was totally floored. This put international hotel fitness center to a shame. The amount of equipments in the gym is unmatched anywhere I stayed. Superb!!! Then i explore the second floor restaurant and order my meal. If you don't eat there you are missing a big hole here. Very delicious. Next i explode and tested the quality at front desk to their limit especially the added value services (Ms Chu, Feng and Zhang). But there is one conceige or bell boy or PR person i wish to acknowledge with exemplary. His name is Mr Wu(?). His knowledge and advice had helped me to plan my stay in Tongren more meaningful. Lucky to bump into him last night around 8pm. I wish to put on record and recognise this young man and thank him. Finally, i couldn't end this review without acknowledging the housekeeping and breakfast restaurant staff for their top notch and tireless services. Watch how they clean the room and the tables and you can tell they had been hone to be the best. Without saying, the Chef De Cuisine Mr Zhang is the best of the very best by international standard. I see him dance at the restaurant like a waltz, smooth as a whiskey too. A sight to be seen how he managed the restaurant. Thank you Head Chef. And so, a 5 star is a disservice to this hotel. Due to a change in our itinerary, we rebooked at the Tongren State Guesthouse. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations. Both the amenities and the quality of service truly live up to its title of "Tongren's #1 Luxury Hotel." 1. Excellent Location The hotel is located within the National Customs Park at No. 5 Wuling Avenue, Bijiang District, just 1.3 kilometers from Tongren Railway Station, offering convenient transportation. The surroundings are beautiful, offering both the stunning scenery of the Jinjiang River and the cultural atmosphere of the National Customs Park, making for a pleasant evening stroll. 2. Comfortable Room Experience We booked a Deluxe River View Room, and the front desk representative, Xiao Peng, upgraded us to an Executive River View Room. This spacious 90-square-meter room features floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Jinjiang River, offering unobstructed views of both the mountains and the river. The room is fully equipped with a bathtub, refrigerator, and smart curtains. The mattress has the perfect firmness for an excellent sleep. The hotel also offers exceptional attention to detail, including welcome fruit. 3. Attentive Service The front desk service was particularly commendable. Check-in was very efficient. Xiao Peng, the staff member, was not only warm and attentive, but also proactively upgraded our room, gave us welcome fruit, and provided free luggage storage. 4. Extensive Dining Options The hotel offers two restaurants: Fu Restaurant (buffet) and Bijingxuan (a la carte Chinese cuisine). The breakfast menu is extensive, with both Western bread and coffee and local rice noodles, all very delicious. 5. Complete Amenities - Indoor heated swimming pool: Clean, uncrowded, and perfect for relaxing. 6. Tips The hotel is near the railway station, and the occasional train whistle can be heard, which may be disturbing for light sleepers, but overall the impact is minimal. There are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby, so takeout is the only option.

The facilities are old, but the location is convenient, next to the train station. If you want to catch a train the next day, you can consider staying here. Otherwise, there are many other options at this price.

I am very satisfied with my stay at your hotel this time! The environment is clean and comfortable, the room is warmly decorated, and the facilities are complete. It is very comfortable to stay. The service attitude is super good, especially Xiao Tang, who makes people feel meticulous care from check-in to check-out!

The hotel is right after getting off the highway. The service provided by Xiao Gao at the front desk was very good and enthusiastic. I would recommend this hotel again next time I come.
