Burke and Wills Hotel Toowoomba Reviews

Spent a night at the hotel. Location was great - within walking distance of shops, Grand Central Mall and restaurants. We arrived in the mid afternoon so didn't have problems with parking. Bed was really comfortable and the nespresso machine in the room was great. **** ***** at the ***** - but can't blame the hotel for that 😀

This hotel is very close to the Empire Theatre. The room may have been small but we’re not in it except to sleep. Josh’s, their restaurant, didn’t disappoint. We had the salt and pepper calamari and the crispy skinned salmon which was cooked to perfection. Service was good.

The staff at reception were very helpful and prompt. The room was comfy. There was only one chair to watch tv, so someone had to sit on the bed. The bed was comfortable. Had dinner at Zack’s. I had a steak which was excellent and my husband had chicken with garlic sauce. He said it was so tender. The bar staff were friendly and knew their drinks. Close to the Empire Theatre.

The location is very good and convenient. There is a large shopping mall nearby, with restaurants and supermarkets. Recommended
