This hotel is outstanding Lynn & Paul are the best hosts. Food was amazing the breakfast was delicious as was the home made scones thank you Lynn. The rooms are amazing we have stayed in them all nearly. They are a high standard. Tv in the rooms with tree view also. Small bar which was great if you fancied a night in. Lovely wines and beers and soft drinks available and very reasonably priced. Hugh beds lovely baths and seperate showers and nice toiltrees. The towels and linen are gorgeous the bedding snd towels are crisp white A fridge in the room is a great touch. Also wooden hangers which I love. Water in the fridge was for to use as was milk and lovely flapjacks homemade. Lynn & Paul are the best hosts and will do anything for you such lovely down to earth people nothing is to much trouble for them. It's walking distance from everything you need also which is a great bonus. What makes this hotel home from home is Lynn &Paul they are amazing people who are doing a fabulous job. My sister and I had a lovely stay at the Grand Hotel; the room was spacious and comfortable, unlike most hotels it wasn't horribly hot and you could open the lovely big sash window. The food was great, and there were lots of nice cosy corners to sit and read a book and have a cup of tea or a glass of wine. The staff were all superb - friendly, efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to the brilliant Liam who brightened up mealtimes in the restaurant and was so kind in helping me surprise my sister with a bottle of champagne. Would highly recommend a stay at the Grand!

I was fortunate enough to have a sea facing room with a balcony. The views across Torbay were breath taking and may have justified the stay on their own. However when added to the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food the experience became one of the best UK short breaks (7 nights) I have ever had. The only negatives are perhaps the walk back up the hill after a day in the town and the time spent changing a barrel of beer when they Estrella ran dry! The hill exists and cannot be blamed on the hotel and the views would not be the same without it and there was plenty of other ales available in the bar - so VERY minor issues. I would certainly stay there again .

Superb building in a perfect location for us. We were in a room with a wonderful sea view to wake up to every morning. Breakfast was a very high quality and gave us a great start to the day. Overall the hotel is very clean and every facility will used appears to be maintained to a good standard. Our room was very spacious compared to many other hotels rooms I have stayed in. The bathroom was definitely larger than average and included a good size shower, with plenty of hot water at a good pressure. Even when the other taps were used, the shower seemed to carry on totally unaffected. A couple of small details that would have improved our stay. A working lift, during our visit it was out of order. But this didn't spoil our stay. The other detail would be a small stool ( or similar) in the bathroom. All staff came across as friendly, approachable and helpful, they all seemed keen to ensure that we enjoyed our stay at The Osborne. We took a walk around some of the grounds which all appeared to be very well maintained. We also walked out of the grounds and across the bay at Meadfoot, its a great location to stroll and enjoy the fresh sea air. Would we stay here again? Definitely, we have already discussed our next visit.

As soon as we arrived at Harmony we were greeted by Michelle was so friendly and welcoming after chatting with us and showing us to our room offered u cup of tea! Obviously very knowledgeable about area recommending lots of places to visit. Our room was quite large comfortable and clean and the bed was super comfortable. My very fussy husband loved the breakfast as did i! Sausage were delicious. There was also a honesty bar which is a great idea and the room was decorated very tasteful. We had a great stay and will definitely be returning. Good location too!
