"Lovely overnight stay at Dafne B&B, we would highly recommend it and will be back for a longer stay. The room was very clean, beautifully decorated and really comfortable. The hosts Barbara and Ivano were so helpful and lovely to talk to. My husband lost his phone in the car and they were so good about getting it back to us. Very kind, decent people. To get to the B&B, don't use the main exit for the train station but take the tunnel which brings you out under the overpass. Walk to the end of the underpass to reach the B&B (on the left with a water spout at the end of the road). Very good breakfast spread of cereal, yoghurt, cheese, milk, eggs, bread, prosciutto, salami, cappucino, etc. You can also use it for your DIY meals (lunch and dinner). It's equipped with a microwave, kettle, fridge, utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, etc. There's a large balcony which is a delight to sit out on. The breakfast room has a comfortable lounge end to sit and relax in the evenings. Dafne B&B is only 5 minutes from the railway station where you can get a local train into Venice (7.50 for two)! Treviso itself deserves more visits, it's small enough to walk round has plenty of history, beautiful (luxury!) clothes shops and good food. Will definitely be back."

"An unusual location. Just steps from the airport and a stone's throw from the city center, on the Treviso highway roundabout. Excellent value, beautifully informal, clean, and with all the comforts of a hotel. Huge outdoor spaces, spacious and well-equipped common areas. Very comfortable, yet somewhat spartan, rooms. Smart and friendly staff. Nightmare breakfasts."

"The room I was allocated had a heavy stench of cigarettes. Viviana, the Manager/owner, acknowledged the stench, but either had not checked the room before arrival or chose to leave the stench unaddressed. The room was very dark, with almost no natural light; the windows were opened onto walls. There wasn’t a proper closet for clothes and the bathroom had a low ceiling and no shower. The breakfast room was dark and dingy and the furniture upholstery had holes. Parking was hard to access and in tandem with two other cars making entering and exiting cumbersome and difficult. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience. Even if the stench were set aside, the darkness and gloominess of the property, plus worn out furniture and poor facilties made Maison Matilda uncomfortable, unwelcoming and overpriced. The awkward parking arrangements added to the property’s drawbacks."

"A small and intimate hotel, very clean and with truly charming rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Despite being a half-hour walk from the city center, the hotel still enjoys a good location and offers video-monitored parking for hotel guests. It's located in a nice residential area. Bus number 1 stops right outside the hotel, taking you to the city center in 10 minutes, if you don't feel like walking. Buses run quite frequently, and you can buy tickets on the bus, as in almost all cities these days. Recommended."

"After a long search we settled on Porta Altinia Suites. We would have preferred a higher spec hotel, but Treviso is limited if you want to stay within a comfortable walk of the Centre. This venue is certainly conveniently located between Train Station and the town. Perhaps because of that, it can be a bit rowdy as evening closes in. We witnessed a fight on the bridge over the river, nothing serious but punches and a head thrown. The room, a Junior Suite was as pictured in the website, sparsely furnished but the en-suite was newly refurbed. It was like a setting for an Edward Hopper painting. The room did the job and was fine for two nights. Staff at reception friendly and helpful."

"Stayed at this lovely family run hotel. Very conveniently located - just outside the city centre and close to the main roads, we drove and enjoyed the free parking. Proper hospitality, excellent value for money. Very friendly, able to accommodate all our requests (our little one was unwell) and run by the same family since 1969! Excellent base to explore the area, we also had a meal there which was great and good fun. Thank you guys"

"A truly lovely B&B, the room was always well-maintained, and it's ideally located just 5 minutes from the center of Treviso. Everything is within walking distance (train station, restaurants, shops). The staff is very friendly and always available by message if you have any problems or questions. It was my first B&B experience, and I was very happy with it. I recommend this B&B 100%!"

"The guesthouse/hotel was empty when I arrived at 4:30 PM. I entered by myself with a password. The cleanliness was acceptable. It's a 10-minute walk from the city center. The credit card guarantee should have been deducted upon check-out, but the hotel deducted the money well in advance. Ctrip handled the situation very well!"

"5 star. What a great find All our communication leading up to arriving was 5 star. We were always planning on checking in a little later (after 8pm) with our flight time. They gave us detailed, good instructions on check in. I sent our passport documents via WhatsApp. They sent a video of exactly where the hotel was, and all the access codes we would need via WhatsApp and all worked perfectly. No issues at all We didnt interact with anyone at the property as we arrived about 8 30pm. The location is perfect right in the centre of Treviso opposite the main square of restaurants. The room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish. The bathroom was small. The bed was a good size and very comfortable Given the location, being right in the centre there was no noise issue at all which was great. The lift was good. WiFi was available, good and included in the price Price was good too Didn't see a breakfast option. Highly recommend here if you're staying in Treviso and we would definitely return "
