Firstly I arrived at the hotel and the charged me $1,300mxn where the confirmation on trip.com said it was all paid!
We went to our room which was good and kept clean. Very hard to control the water temperature in the shower however!
We booked the romantic dinner where in the menu they mentioned there would be flambé at the table - none of it was. This was supposed to be a romantic dinner on the beach where instead we had guests that don’t even stay in The hotel be so loud in front of us. Instead of hotel staff moving them to the other side that was completely open they just kept serving them drinks. The beach bar was supposed to close at 7pm however they just kept serving them drinks.
If I hadn’t paid for the 18% service charge before the dinner they definitely wouldn’t get it. As a gesture they just offered 2 cocktails when the service charge alone was far far more than that!
The food was not good, at the dinner and at breakfast.
Wouldn’t really recommend this hotel.

This is our third time staying at Ana y Jose, and each time it just gets better. Staff is high-touch; rooms and grounds are immaculate; food is fantastic! The concierges, Paulina and Melissa, will handle your every need - restaurant recommendations, transportation, and activities. The restaurant staff is top notch. Sargasso is a problem in the Riveria Maya but Ana y Jose employs a staff that gets it off the beach as quickly as possible.

Rafael was an amazing server. He’s very attentive and made our entire trip very special! On our last night he set up a private table in the win cellar making it an incredible experience. Gasper, Mario, & Mel were also amazing. I highly recommend purchasing the full experience as it will save you a lot of money. Have plenty of cash for tips as they prefer cash tips to credit. We stayed at the Estrella suit which was the best one in my opinion. We will definitely be back.

The beach club was nice getting 2 chairs right next to the beach being served food and drinks the ultimate relaxation experience. Highly recommend this place. Rolando and Miguel were great server's constantly checking on us even picking up empty plates while we are in the ocean.

The service at this hotel is superb! From check-in to service staff to the concierge . Absolute 100% . Would definitely come back. The staff helped us with a romantic dinner at the beach, under a full moon. You can’t script this stuff. Lots of wonderful food options, including a full coffee cup every morning.

We spent a week at Ana Y Jose with our 3 kids. We booked here as we wanted a smaller hotel with a personal touch and this is exactly what we got. We were well looked after by William, Jose & Maria who took the time to remember our preferences bringing us our tea and coffee just how we liked it every morning. Would highly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday with or without kids.

This resort is really special. Well appointed and luxurious, beautiful, and excellent service. We did the all inclusive package and were happy with our choice. This way we were able to indulge in the fresh, high end food and cocktails and fresh smoothies without worries for a bill. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available throughout the day. The beach was breathtaking and well kept. Other resorts along the beach had much more of a club vibe while this felt like being on a season of White Lotus.

Awesome beach, beautiful property excellent customer service, and close to all the action. Maria, Jose and William at the restaurant and were very friendly and provided top-notch service. we look forward to see them again! This hotel is all about detail and high-quality the breakfast was included in our package and it was abundant with different choices every day on the menu. Mexican inspired, gourmet, the best choice we could have made.

I had a wonderful time at Ana Y José today. Good music , not so loud as I prefer. Had a very good quesadilla which I recomend. The menu has so many options. All’ this was under Paloma’s attenzione Who welcome me sweetly. Thank you!Paloma !! I’ll be back soon for sure.
