La Zebra Tulum, a Small Luxury Hotel ★★★★
"This is a lovely hotel right on the ocean. We really enjoyed our stay. A bonus for us was getting to sea turtles come ashore on their beach to lay their eggs. It was amazing"
Coco Unlimited ★★★
"Hotel has a super location, however, come somewhat into the years. Unfortunately, the staff is not really service-oriented. There are little shadows on the beach."
Our Habitas Tulum - Adults Only ★★★★
"To be honest, this hotel would be better than the Azulik next door if you didn’t like the original ecology so much."
Ahau Tulum ★★★
"A charming resort right by the beach. My room has the most amazing sunrise view. But do take note, it’s an eco-friendly resort, so there’s no phone, TV or minibar. Every request is done through WhatsApp. Its own restaurant has quite the menu to sate your appetite, though there are tons of eateries outside on the main street. The best place to relax and switch off from the world."
Mezzanine Tulum, a Small Luxury Hotel ★★★★
"Come to Mezzanine to disconnect. It is a little piece of heaven within walking distance of the Tulum archaeological site. The oceanfront rooms are a dream. The food is exquisite, the drinks are elevated, and everything is a visual delight. There are no TVs – trust me, it’s a good thing."
Casa Malca ★★★★★
"Super service, but the hotel is long-standing needs renovation, everything is a bit tired."
Mi Amor Boutique Hotel-Adults Only ★★★★
"You can hear the sound of waves all the way to your room, so you can feel the great outdoors. The only disappointing thing was that there was a charge for water in the room. Tap water was free, but I was grateful that bottled water was also free. Overall, I'm very satisfied because I can see the sea from my room. There were a lot of mosquitoes and I got bitten a lot, so I recommend bringing insect repellent spray."
The Beach Tulum Hotel ★★★★★
Azulik ★★★★
"It was a luxurious stay in a stunning hotel. Every corner of this hotel begs to be explored and admired. Magnificent terraces overlook the Caribbean Sea. Everything in the room is top-notch. A place where you can rejuvenate spiritually ❤️"

Playa Esperanza Tulum
"The room is large and clean with a balcony. It is quiet and right on the beautiful beach. It is very convenient to take the bus to the pier. I recommend it."
Diamante K - Inside Tulum National Park
"Nice Boutique Hotel, cozy room. Private Beach access. Nice experience."
Libelula Tulum Beachfront Hotel
"Our Airbnb host recommended this spot to spend a day on the beach. We arrived by scooter, signed in at the national reserve, Sian Ka’an, and located the entrance another km or so up the bumpy dirt road. The entrance is very private, there’s a sign and we rang the bell and the host came to let us in. We were allowed to parkour scooter inside the gate. Once we entered, it was truly a magical spot with private areas, beachfront, bohemian laid back vibe with a mix of guests. We felt incredibly welcomed and not rushed or hurried to order. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up going back two more days. We met some great people and the host, Armando and George. One of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever visited."

"Good place and great food"
Twelve O’Clock Luxury Villas
Hotelito Azul
"The entrance in the hotel is the most strange entrance that I ever seen. They provide a QR code that suposed to unlock the door and an acces turnistle. This doesn’t work at all."
Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club
"Very good, lots of attractions in the hotel we had fun. Amazing service, thanks to Julio"
Elements Tulum Boutique Hotel
"Very good Hotel in the central area of Tulum, the room was excellent, the pool space was very pleasant (they give you towels at reception) and all the facilities were very clean."
Naala Tulum
"The only point to consider, which is not the fault of the hotel, are the high values charged by taxi drivers in the end of the year to go from the hotel to the beach, about 300/400 Mexican pesos, 17-22 dollars."
Hotel Shibari - Restaurant & Cenote Club
"First of all the service was beyond bad, it’s as if the staff never communicated with eachother. Upon arrival, we got asked if we were celebrating anything, to which we said yes as it’s our fifth anniversary, and they said they would arrange a surprise for us the next day. We finished our stay without any surprise or acknowledgment as to what had happened, it was just forgotten. They would ask us every day if it was our first time at breakfast, ask about allergies and so on, which on your fifth day at the hotel makes it feel very impersonal. The hotel is also very restrictive in when you can use their amenities, which is laughable when they have no direct beach access. Their pool only opens 11am-6pm, their bikes (which are in horrible shape) can only be hired 9am-6pm…it felt like being at a school camp instead of an alleged 5-star hotel. You are stranded on a street with nothing to do, no signal outside of the hotel, no free beach access and a whopping $40 to get to the town center (which is a 15min drive away). To put the cherry on top, we got called to our room on our last night asking when we would like our bags collected for check-out, they said it was arranged…and it never was. We also never got asked if we had a nice stay upon leaving, nothing. They truly don’t seem to care. Honestly, save yourself the trouble."
Delek Tulum
"This place is gorgeous and the service is impeccable! Perfect location for people who like daytime on the beach and nightlife. The AC was great to have in the room as it gets very hot and humid in Tulum. Truly all around great place!"
Nômade Temple Tulum
"Very good vibe, good location, lovely rooms. Excellent stay."
Moxy Tulum
"This is a very new hotel with excellent interior design and comfortable rooms, the gym is better than most hotel gyms and brand new. Service and the people are awesome special thanks for Fernando and David."
El Paraiso Hotel Tulum
"About the best beach on the Riviera Maya. 100% recommended. However, it's located within a reserve, so having a car or being aware that you'll be away from the center is something to keep in mind. Beach lovers, this is the place."
