It was unfortunate that we had some trouble with the reservation, but the service they provided made up for it.
When we were unable to make a reservation for one day, they upgraded us and made a reservation at another hotel in the chain.
When there was a problem with our rental bike, they arranged for a new bike from another place.
And Layla's hotel was wonderful, especially the view from the rooftop pool.
If I had to point out one drawback, it would be that the room had a bit of a moldy smell, probably because it was by the pool.
It didn't bother me after staying in the room for a while.
The other facilities were great, and I would recommend this hotel if you're staying in the downtown Tulum area.

Not to see that there is no road to the hotel - the hotel itself and the beach with a bomb! It was very impressive that turtles come to shore to nest and you can get onto small turtles from the morning - very nice! The food in the facility is also cool! A very quiet rest for those who want to take a rest in a hotel near the beach and not to go to town, all is there. Nobody gets tired, nobody asks every two seconds of tea and no noisy show of programs, although this can be done to a minus, because sometimes there is little fun, but it was a lot of fun!
From minus, there is not enough shopper to buy some ordinary things, especially women's hygiene, or elementary patches, sun protection creams.

Our 6th trip to the Cancun area, first stay here - wonderful experience. Wonderful, attentive staff. Beautiful beach and reef. Snorkeling was good - beautiful fish, coral regrowing in the outer reefs. Food quality was better than hoped for - lunch seems to be the best option with dinner being a close 2nd.
Appreciated the attention to the Turtles laying and hatching- had a specialist come in nightly to protect and clearly mark areas to keep them safe.
Dive shop was great - needed a pair of socks to keep fins from rubbing blisters - they ordered them overnight for me.
Restaurant staff are lovely. Room attendants are great - loved the towel art!!
Will return!!

The room was very small and had a rooftop view, but the view was only on the 4th floor, so it wasn't that good, and I could see the window next door, so I had to keep the blinds open every day. The pool is small, but the interior is very neat and pretty. The female staff was a little rude when I checked in.

The location is great. The parking lot is just opposite the hotel. The room is a 2-minute walk from the beach. The beach is wide and there are few tourists. I saw the most beautiful sunrise. The large balcony is surrounded by green plants and is very suitable for sunbathing. It is quieter than other hotels at night. The double shower can take a shower at the same time. The hotel thoughtfully prepared three large bottles of drinking purified water and a woven bag for going out... I like Tulum starting from the hotel.

Great
GGuest UserA Haven of Tranquillity
The most wonderful place to stay. Everything was super amazing. Location is great, inbetween the beach and Main Street, hire a bike, makes it easier. Built around trees and an open central space, oozes peacefulness. The Kasa & bedrooms are beautifully designed, huge bed, lovely shower, coffee machine & super comfy. Pool/rooftop bar & food with loungers. A great breakfast too. Last but not least, the staff were wonderful, especially Omar. Could not recommend enough. 😁
GGuest UserHotels staff were friendly the hotel was clean. It was a very nice ambiance. I love the rooftop pool. My only problem was that it’s nothing open late to eat or drink. Hotels staff were friendly the hotel was clean. It was a very nice ambience. I love the rooftop pool. My main issue was that it’s nothing open late to eat or drink. They should have vending machines or some type of service if you get thirsty after 10 PM.
GGuest UserHotel Muare is one of the more popular hotels in the Tulum area. It is a perfect getaway if you want to have a quiet time from the hustle-and-bustle of the city to recharge. The rooms are designed to look like houses in the remote places but with all the modern amenities. It also is a great option for someone who cares about staying at an Instagrammable hotel/resort. There is one restaurant which provides good food.
Negatives:
-Getting to the hotel will require you to drive through really broken dirt road with several pits.
-While the food options are good, if you’re someone with a dietary restrictions - e.g., vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, don’t eat red meat or raw fish, etc. you may run out of options quickly. The staff is flexible though, so they may customize few dishes for your suiting.
-In general Tulum is expensive. However, Muare is up a notch. While it was a great place to stay, the price didn’t seem justifiable to me. Specially, since I don’t care as much about capturing Instagrammable photos.
-While the staffs are helpful and friendly, their extreme focus on getting money out of you is just off putting. Examples: we planned to have food by the pool and it took them forever to get us the food. They missed certain items in the order. We also had issues with our food (fly in maple syrup) which was still fine (since bugs/insects can fall in your food when you live in the nature). However, when we reported and asked for a replacement, they never returned with the fresh maple syrup. Finally, I had to go to the restaurant and pick it up myself. However, when it came to asking you to pay, they would run behind you to get your sign. On top of that, there is a default tip amount included in the bill which some of them may not even care to mention to you. While checking out as well, they added a hefty service charge to the bill - this on top of the already expensive booking fee.
Overall, my review is that it is a good place to stay. However, too expensive and the cost is not really justifiable. Plus for the good service they provide, it is really off putting when you see how focused they’re on getting more money out of you in any way possible.
GGuest UserThe hotel is pretty and clean, I can tell it’s newly opened. But the staffs definitely needed more training. The pool is pretty small, you can’t really swim in there. The jacuzzi was out of service, they don’t provide towel at the pool, even if you asked, they said they were going to get it but they never came back. Service is poor I would say.
GGuest UserNice Hotel at the beach. Not a good beach, a lot of rocks. Quit place. Youtube have to take a taxi from the Hotel, fixed price 500 pesos to tulum. Its very expencive. A bottle of water in the restaurant was 200 pesos, crazy!! Nice service. Varm drinks in the minibar, ask for ice bucket.
郭郭The hotel is located in Shidong District, with convenient transportation. There is a big supermarket opposite, a restaurant next door, and the Ruins Park is less than 5 minutes away by car. Although it is located on the side of the road, because the room is equipped with soundproof glass, it is not noisy after closing the doors and windows. The internal environment is very fresh, the room and the bedding are very clean, the free breakfast is made to order, fresh and delicious, the room has free bottled water, a variety of tea bags and coffee, the front desk has hot and cold water dispensers, and the service attitude is also very good. Stayed happily for two nights and it was worth it.
BBeta0415Excellent room and surroundings. The balcony is spacious and directly facing a sunset. There are two restraunts and two public pools for amenities. Great staff, great food, great facility. The hotel is bigger than it looks. Good price overall, though the beech might be a little far for people who didnt rent bikes/cars.
GGuest UserIt is right next to tulum ruins (10 min walk). This is within the national parc region and very calm. If you are looking for a party place, It is not the best location. But, Peace seekers and travellers who just want to enjoy beautiful tulum beach; This is PERFECT.
The staff and hospitality is amazing.
LLulúsDon't pay for breakfast! It's really a joke...one block away there are restaurants and 7eleven where you can eat delicious food.
The location is good and so are the facilities.
Let alcohol in so you can be in the pool.
DDandI started out in my younger days staying at 3 star hotels working myself up to 5 star hotels these days. On this recent weekend trip i held back on my post xmas spending and got a great deal at Kore so I took a chance on it despite all the negative reviews. I think the 1 out 5 star ratings are ridiculously unfair. Rooms were big, clean, and comfy. Location was decent and had great views of the sea. I only had breakfast as I like to get out and explore, so I couldn't tell you much about the quality of food. The waiters were good, as soon as I sat down, my coffee was poured. After they recognized I tip, I never had to wait in line to get my omelets...lol. best part was the service from the front desk concierge (the Mexican soap opera looking guy) Victor. Dude was always so nice and helpful. Upon checkout, I had a late flight out, he knew that I love bike riding, so he let me keep my bracelet to have access until my shuttle arrived. I did not experience most of the issues on these reviews. English speaking staff was a challenge, but i found that was an issue everwhere I was in Tulum. Overall, if you were to go by the strict AAA guidelines, this hotel would probably recieve a 3-3.5 rating and closer to a 4 by the generous booking sites. This was no Hyatt, but a good value. Dont let those 1 star ratings discourage you.
My rating does not include the quality of food...
