Lee was a great host, speaks excellent English, and was very helpful with suggestions on both things to do around Turpan and also border crossing how to info. The dorm was clean, and supplied with clean linen (make your own bed), and with an attached hot water bathroom. The lodgings are simple, but there’s plenty of space, and upon arrival I was invited to eat dinner (pictured) with Lee and some other guests—delicious! After dinner they screened a movie on an exterior wall.
The location is midway between the station and Turpan proper, neither of which are comfortable walking distance, but taxis are cheap and easy to get. The hostel is within easy walking distance of one of the very interesting water irrigation museums, and there’s a good Uighur restaurant about ten minutes away on foot.
If you’re on a budget, looking for a “traveller vibe” style place, and don’t mind the slightly out of the way location, this is a great option. Would stay here again.

I ended up staying in Turpan at short notice and booked this hotel. The hotel owner welcomed me very kindly. He also spoke fluent Japanese, which I was really happy about. The bed was clean and the bathroom was Western-style. He was also happy to accommodate my early morning departure, which was very helpful. The common area was spacious and it was a wonderful guesthouse. Thank you very much.

I have to give a good review for this stay. I traveled all the way from Anhui to Turpan with my friends. This is the youth hostel with the most homely feeling I have ever stayed in. The boss is a very positive and motivated young person. She will patiently answer any questions you ask. The youth hostel is in a Uyghur village. The villagers are very simple and there are fruit trees all around. I could only pick mulberries on the roadside for the past two days. The white mulberries here are really sweet. They are all over the roadside. Apricots are said to be ripe in mid-May, but there are quite a lot of grapes all around. I guess friends who come here in the summer can't finish eating them. 🐽 I will stay here again when I come to Turpan next time, and I will recommend it to friends who come to Turpan to stay here #clean and hygienic #very enthusiastic service #location and transportation are close to the scenic area #room facilities are clean and tidy #good breakfast #convenient parking #room view is good #WIFIl fast speed #no swimming pool

在火車站出站口直接打表出租車到青旅12塊上下，有一個超大的院子，二樓有一個大平層用於晾衣服，院子裏有洗衣服帶搓衣板的池子，八人間很寬敞，房間旁邊有一個女生用的獨立洗手間，院子裏也有另外的洗手間和淋浴間，住得很舒服！點外賣不大方便，附近走七八百米有吃飯和吃烤肉的地方，牛肉麪五元，涼皮涼麪都是五元、牛肉羊肉串3元！物價感人！！路邊綠化帶桑葚自由～晚上還可以K歌、看電影，住了三天捨不得走哈哈哈！真的很棒！

在這裏待得太舒服不想走又續住了一晚～週五和週日附近有亞爾大巴扎，步行就能到。大巴扎很熱鬧，物美價廉，酸奶刨冰超好喝！大家去逛大巴紮好多都買西瓜回來，結果就是有吃不完的西瓜和哈密瓜哈哈哈～附近有很多桑葚樹（如圖，直接實現桑葚自由！老闆在門口種了西瓜和葡萄，下次來吃葡萄做沙療！
