"I booked a room for 2 people but the room had 3 people max capacity. My daughter who is 14 was to stay with family members but plans changed for that one night and was to stay with us instead. Front desk lady did not care or have consideration we came from Canada and we had to book another room! She wouldn’t allow my daughter to stay in the same room. We even offered to pay for another person for our room, she did not listen. Horrible customer service. We had to write in a card and asked for a pen. They asked for the pen back as they didn’t have more. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Never would go back or recommend to others."

The hotel itself is just okay; the rooms feel a bit dated. There's nothing else particularly noteworthy. If the price is right, it's an option."

"When I arrived at the hotel at 2:30 PM, I found it locked and empty. Someone relaxing in the cafe next door called out to me and called the owner directly. They said the back door would open if I entered a PIN. Since I didn't receive any notification and it was my first time using this system, I was confused as to why there were two keys on the box. I'll count that as a minus. However, the room was beautiful, had a coffee machine, and was well-cleaned. The room was spacious and convenient, enough for two people to open their suitcases. I would have liked to stay several nights. It's close to the nearest station and a great location for a pilgrimage to Van Gogh's holy sites. It's a shame that the supermarkets and surrounding shops close early."

After several attempts, we had to call the hotel's emergency intercom, where we were given the correct Ibis Budget booking code. This is unacceptable. The person who answered the emergency intercom was unpleasant. We wasted about forty minutes, in addition to the stress this caused us. Please call me back to discuss this directly and to find out what improvements you have made to your access procedure. We are due to return to this hotel in three weeks.
