we spent 10 delightful days at El Horcajo. The hotel is situated at the heart of the Ronda mountains in its own valley. Wonderfully rustic rooms formed from the old Cortijo surrounded by acres of natural cork forest. Simple Andalusian fare served either inside the quaint restaurant or outside under the shade of ancient trees. All complimented by super friendly and efficient staff. Absolutely magnifico

This is a very beautiful location in the middle of nature. We loved the nature and the hotel area. But this is not a 3 star hotel. Rooms were old, dirty and there are spiders and bugs everywhere. Food was the biggest disappointment. This is so called “tasty local foods”. Breakfast is also very basic.

We stayed at El Horcajo in early October for one night. It was beautiful and very peaceful location and was a welcoming and charming place to stay. It is situated half an hour from Ronda and it's a world apart. The farm is in a valley surrounded by the mountains. It's a wonderful place to base yourself for the area to visit the White Villages and take hikes and walks, which are endless. The staff couldn't be more friendly and and the evening meals are excellent. The pool was well-kept and it was a unique experience to swim to the sound of goats and sheeps. We would happily return!

Cadre magnifique mais quelle déception pour les chambres qui sont minuscules et extrêmement mal insonorisées , on entend les voisins comme s'ils étaient dans la chambre et tout ce qui se passe à la réception. Personnel très accueillant. Nourriture très basique mais très bon marché.

Très belle surprise. Hacienda complètement restauré. Hyper belle. Très calme. Un peu reculé mais vaut le détour. Tout est parfait. Restaurant, piscine, bar, petit déjeuner. Chambre familiale pour 4 personnes. A côté de Ronda mais les prix sont beaucoup plus abordables. Site idéal pour repas grande famille ou mariage.
