"Claire and Jim are fantastic hosts. The apartment is large and modern with a fantastic bathroom including underfloor heating and views of the lake and mountains. Electric blanket on the king size bed, reverse cycle air conditioning/heating, fridge, microwave and all amenities included. Wifi included. Breakfast was everything we wanted including homemade cookies and jams. Claire even offered to drive us to our son’s wedding. A car would be recommended and there is off street parking. Thanks again Claire and Jim for looking after us. I would highly recommend to stay here and will stay here again if we return to Wanaka."

"We stayed in Chalet 1 which is a 3 bedroom apartment. Very comfortable and everything you need for a family. Apartment was clean and bedding was very comfortable. Thank you to Pip who gave us recommendations for things to do in Wanaka and restaurant recommendations. She is very knowledgeable about the South Island as a whole. Our plans changed due to a road closure and an extra night was needed and organised with ease. The views are stunning from this motel! In front of the motel is a park and the picture perfect lake. A lovely sight to see! "

"Everything else was great, but I'm not sure why there were a bunch of unwashed bath towels left in the washing machine in the room – that felt a bit off. Also, there's no elevator, so if you're on the second floor, you have to lug your luggage up and down."
