On the first day of my stay, the fan in one room broke and the light in another room broke. I had to change several rooms that night. The check-in experience was very poor! However, the two beauties in the hotel had a better attitude towards admitting their mistake and changed our room to a better room the next day, which calmed our anger. Ctrip followed up promptly and refunded the room fee for one night.

This property was my style of hotel, lots of character with a charming secret garden to dine in, but very modern rooms. Even had a towel warmer!
Like all European hotels, they don't provide wash cloths, but I just used the corner of a towel since I had forgotten to bring a wash cloth. Not a big deal.
The room had a big fan which was very nice since I always sleep with a fan on at home.
Continental breakfast was included, no hot food, but adequate for breakfast. Really good croissants!
We were in town to do Warwick castle...it was very close. Wish I'd had another day to explore the old square and the town.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent from check-in to departure and were very attentive. Excellence location with the castle and park both within a 10 minute walk. Would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic place to stay and a big thank you to Beth and Josh for making me feel so welcome. A beautiful bar/restaurant and the food was amazing!
The room was charming and the bathroom was new with a walk-in shower. Free water in the fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.

Weekend away
Lovely busy town pub, rooms far enough away from main pub to be quiet, comfortable rooms, helpful staff and free parking in council run carpark.
