"Everything about this hotel's environment is great, but we booked breakfast and the hotel said they didn't receive our breakfast confirmation. When we got to the breakfast area in the morning, they asked us to show an English version of our order and email it to the hotel to verify. We had to wait over ten minutes before we could even enter the dining area. This experience was really not good; it felt like their staff weren't on the ball and thought we were trying to cheat them out of breakfast money. I've never had to email a hotel just to get into breakfast before. I'm not sure if it's a Ctrip issue or a hotel issue, but I hope they can improve and upgrade their service. Thanks! ☺️"

"Great location as central. Hotel is nice, modernised and clean. However, wary of infection control and allergy concerns, unsure how the hotel manages this. Noted to have many guests with dogs and were allowed to have them in the common room and dining hall. Are there only specific rooms that are only dedicated to these specific guests? Breakfast was mayhem. Plenty of guests to have their meal but no table area to sit. To add guests with their dogs which is not to our liking. Should there have been a booked/schedule mealtime if they anticipate large volume of bookings. Overall, experience could have been perfect. Staffs are polite and helpful. The hotel is nice except for above mentioned."

"What were we hoping for in a few days away at a farmhouse B&B? A clean and comfortable room (we were in Katrina's room), a power shower that knocks you off your feet (!), peace and quiet, a beautiful view from the room, excellent breakfast served with no fuss, easy parking and a delightful village with a good pub. All of this was delivered in spades by Sue, our host who was efficient, charming and good company. It was a pleasure to visit."
