Not Georgetown, but acceptable
Not sure why they call it the Georgetown Marriott because it's not even close to Georgetown, but it's a good choice for a budget conscious traveler who wants to be close to Cap Hill.

The rooms were spacious, lobby was clean and entertaining. Hotel was conveniently located to everything. We also were able to save and park on the street for free instead of hefty garage parking. Great choice

Given absolute worst room in hotel
Was given a room at the very end of a deserted hallway
Checked in evening after a 9 hour drive
Housekeeping was cleaning halls and rooms around me until I complained at 9:45
Once that quieted down realized the loud rumbling sound was a service/freight elevator next to my room
Did not sleep
Asked for room change in the am, specially asking for quiet
Front desk staff polite but put me in a room across from main elevator and ice maker
Felt very disrespected and completely exhausted
Could not wait to check out
Really a shame as location next to my daughter’s condo is ideal for my frequent visits
