Courtyard Washington, DC/U.S. Capitol

The hotel was undergoing renovations (maintenance), and there were large fans in the hallway, but once the door was closed, it wasn't noisy at all – much quieter than a large window AC unit. The location is good, just a bit behind Union Station. There's a big supermarket nearby, perfect for stocking up. Breakfast is provided by Starbucks, and there's a really great, slender waitress who handles the breakfast service. The gym is usually empty, so it's excellent for daily workouts. However, on the day we checked in, for some reason, a staff member knocked on our door saying the system showed our room as vacant and they needed to confirm. We had to double-check with the front desk later. There's also a movable table under the main table, which is very convenient.

Highly, highly, highly recommend it!!!! Great value for money. 😎 Convenient for shopping, nice environment, excellent location, and decent service. Definitely worth checking out! Keep up the good work, it'll only get better, haha! 😃

The hotel's location is fantastic, right at the subway entrance, making travel incredibly convenient. The staff at the door were very welcoming and helped us with our luggage. The housekeeping staff also did a great job, cleaning our room promptly every day.

The breakfast was exactly what you'd expect from an American hotel, just like in the pictures. There's a Subway right across the street and a large local supermarket about a 5-minute walk away, which was super convenient for stocking up on souvenirs and other necessities. I rented a bike, and I highly recommend it for cost-effective sightseeing around D.C. – no need to take an Uber every time!

The hotel is super close to many popular attractions, all within walking distance. There's a shared parking lot, but you can't park your car yourself; you have to leave it at the building's entrance for a hotel attendant to valet park it. The hotel itself is on the second floor, and there isn't a very noticeable sign downstairs. It's also near a subway station, making public transport to many places incredibly convenient. However, I did feel a bit unsafe in the evenings due to the perceived lack of security.

Hotels in Washington are generally much cheaper than in New York, so I didn't have high expectations for this hotel given its great price. However, it actually exceeded them, apart from being a bit too close to the train station, which meant some noise from the trains. Everything else was really good. The room layout was very practical; it didn't feel small for a family of three. The location was also super convenient, just one metro stop from Union Station, and the metro exit is right outside. Dining was easy too, with fast food and a 7-Eleven downstairs, and several restaurants within a 10-minute walk. A taxi to DCA airport cost $20-30 and took 15 minutes if there was no traffic. Getting to all the downtown attractions was easy by metro or taxi.
