When I was choosing a homestay on Ctrip, I fell in love with this one at first sight. The decoration was simple and elegant, and the price was very reasonable. It was worth my while to stay there.
1. The room is clean and tidy with complete facilities. We booked two rooms. The triple room is very spacious and comfortable for two adults and one child to sleep in. The house has floor heating, which makes it very warm.

The room facilities are average, there is no air conditioning. It was freezing cold in Mount Wutai in April. It was said to be floor heating, but there was no temperature at all. I caught a cold when I woke up in the morning. There was no tissue in the room, and I used up a pack of toilet paper. Not recommended

GGuest UserThe first time I went to Wutai Mountain, I chose a homestay and finally got a clean one. One is that I fancy the decoration style and the other is the price. I am very fortunate to have met a particularly good boss. I get up late in the morning or go back at night. I can’t wait for the car. I want the boss to pick up and drop off when I have time. On the last day, when we took a taxi to Taiyuan, the driver of the ride praised that this was the second good boss he had seen who could send guests to the entrance of the scenic spot. 👍 Breakfast was also praised. Although it was simple but delicious, it was at least several times stronger than the two or three hundred vegetarian food we ate in the scenic spot. Several times, I was very satisfied with staying for three days.

GGuest UserA really beautiful place to stay in the quiet mountains of Wutaishan. The hotel was tastefully appointed and the room I had was very spacious and comfortable. There was a Marshall speaker which was a really nice touch. The services were super attentive and personal: Manager Chen and his team were very friendly and highly accommodating. They made sure that I had everything I needed for my daily expeditions, drove me to all the temples and monasteries (within reasonable distances of course) that I wanted to visit every morning and picked me up in the evening back to the hotel. My stay there was so lovely that I extended it for two more days, which was still far from enough!
The hotel restaurant was also very nice. Food was of superior quality and the ambience was lovely.

The house is clean and tidy, the bedding is super comfortable, and the room is smart. In short, it is great. I like to stay away from the tour groups and the quiet environment. I strongly recommend it. My foot was broken when I checked in, and the owner found a band-aid for me as soon as possible. The owner would go out to greet me when I came back every night, and sent me out when I left. He also gave me Wutai Mountain specialties when I left the store. GGuest UserThis trip to Shanxi was fortunate to stay at Wutaishan Jingshe Guanshan B&B. The B&B is located in the Wutai Mountain Scenic Area. The decoration style of the B&B is simple, the rooms are cleaned very clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the millet porridge and Taiyu sauce taste good 👍. The owner of the hotel is very enthusiastic. After adding WeChat, he helped to make an appointment for the vehicle to enter the venue and help book tickets in advance. It also provided us with the best route, which perfectly avoided the restrictions, so that we could have a better experience in visiting Wutai Mountain. The proprietress also enthusiastically recommended the restaurants around the hotel, so that we can have a full meal after a tired day. I will recommend friends to come next time I have the opportunity.

ZZuzuFacilities: There is a dirt road outside the B&B, it is dirty, and there is no parking space. We just park everywhere. It was around 9pm when the owner let us park next to a huge smelly garbage dump. There is a construction site outside the hotel, which feels really bad. The public areas in the B&B are more elegant, but the room facilities are outdated. There are no hangers or places to dry the clothes, and the experience of putting them on the railings of the walkway is very poor.
Hygiene: Overall it is relatively clean, but there are small bugs on the floor and walls at night. (The first picture was taken when I came back today to collect clothes. There was no hanging paper when we checked in)
Service: After parking the car at night, the male shop owner took the initiative to help carry the box and did not let the box walk all the way in the mud. The female shop owner also asked us enthusiastically how we came, how to get there, and how to get to the scenic spot. She also took the initiative to ask us not to drive the next day because there were many people and cars, so she asked the male shop owner to take us to the starting point and take the bus, which was great with our children. Sit alone. It turned out that the next morning there was nothing about last night. I took the initiative to ask her how to send us off. She immediately pretended to be stupid and said you can take the bus yourself! I was very puzzled. After I went out, I met the male shopkeeper. As soon as he saw us, he immediately said, ”Beauty, you can go.” (Obviously he didn't forget the conversation last night) But the woman chased her out and said, yes, they will go and take the bus by themselves. The man understood it as soon as he heard it, and I identified the fake enthusiastic female shop owner. In the end, I asked the male shopkeeper to take us out of the sun-drenched and dirty dirt road and take us to the entrance of the village to take a bus. I took my children for more than 10 stops along the way to the Wu Dad Temple.
There are many B&Bs and hotels on Wutai Mountain. This B&B is not worth more than 500 in terms of location and setting. Having a lot of frivolous public facilities in the store does not make any sense to our guests. The experience of staying here is not good!

AAnnie PBPMy room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

The room was very comfortable (and warm), and the location is very close to the tourist bus station (very useful for those coming from Taiyuan or Beijing by bus), as well as the main temple area in the central valley. There are also many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The price was also very affordable, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Definitely I would stay here again!

YYouqinghuaidehuluoboLast stop of the year! I randomly chose a place to stay and found that it was indeed one of the top temples in the north. The hotel was like a small world full of Zen. As the Chinese New Year approaches, there are still a lot of tourists, so it’s a plus that the accommodation environment remains quiet. It seems that the hotel has a new owner. Before leaving, the little boss kept asking if there was anything wrong and if he had any comments. The service of the newly opened old hotel is very considerate. The bedding and everything are brand new, clean and soft, and I have become more religious when sleeping. I came at the right time.
It's very close to Wuye Temple. It only takes ten minutes to get up in the morning to have a meal, load up the car and set off there, so there's no rush at all. It should be a store that is close and has high cost performance.

It was most convenient for transportation, dining, and shopping in Taihuai Town. The room is clean, the sheets are new, the mattress is very comfortable, the hot water is good and not as difficult to adjust as the reviews say. The breakfast was also very tasty. You can see the moon when you open the curtains at night, and you can see the clouds and mist on the mountains in the morning. The only regret is that the gap in the door is a bit large and there were people smoking in the corridor, so the smell of smoke in the room was a bit strong. If I have the chance to come to Mount Wutai again, I will definitely stay here again.

The boss is very warm and hospitable. When I booked it with Ctrip, it didn’t include breakfast. The boss gave me breakfast as a gift, which was very considerate. I drank two bowls of millet porridge and polenta to warm up my whole body. I also had eggs, steamed buns, cold dishes, and the boss’s homemade snacks. Pickles, a delicious breakfast, a meal out in a scenic spot costs at least 30 yuan😄. The dinner prices here are also very affordable.
