Wutai Mountain Tingfengyin Inn (Wuye Temple Branch)

Wonderful stay. Hotel is nice and clean, breakfast is homemade, fresh with local ingredients and healthy;It changes every day as well! All staff is tremendously helpful and kind. I had very quiet and restful nights. Bed is very comfortable and the location is excellent for walking to all the major temples in the scenic area. Staying here made my visit to Wutaishan even more memorable. Thank you for all your help! I will always remember this place!

Nice, helpful and courteous staff. They even upgraded my room for my second day after my hiking. just that location is a bit far in if u are not driving. If not a worth stay in hotel. 👍

This is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate . During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day. The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room. The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains. Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Clean and comfortable room. A bit pricey, but it seems that in Wutai Shan everything is overpriced.

Strategically located at the end of a busy street with plenty of food options, supermarket and hawkers selling their wares (only in the evening). Staff are helpful and approachable. Room is clean and beds are comfortable. I especially like the layout and the tatami mats, and the dining area. Only complaint is the shower area is not separated/screened from the toilet and the whole place will be wet after shower. Highly recommended.

Very friendly, kind staff. Room is clean and well decoratedn, location is great. My only criticism is I don't like that there is a big bottle of water which appears generous until you realize you have to pay for it, as well as a phone charger which you also need to pay to use. It's not that I mind paying, but by putting it in the room, it seems like an extra cash grab which takes away from the initial warm hospitality, especially since the room isn't cheap.

Wūtaishan is in itself a sacred place of pilgrimage of utter magic and life, staying in Tingfengyin Inn was an added charm of sheer care and concern. The Inn has a really sacred feeling, situated next to the Lush hills where the Bodhisattva of Wisdom impregnates his being to the core, in calm and quiet and in a traditional Chinese setting, the managers of this inn were always there to help and watch out for all sorts of needs for the pilgrim. Indeed, the spacious room, the beautiful view, to contemplate life while sipping some very good tea, to have been provided with the ample supply of drinking water, to have all the utilities one may need in the room or the washroom, to have amazingly ergonomic storage spaces, to have the possibility of having an early morning breakfast, the Inn has been excellent in providing a homely feeling to the guests, and for that I am deeply thankful.

Wow , the boss is really great. I took a taxi directly from Taiyuan Wusu Airport but the taxi only stop at the Visitor Building. So I have to get into Green Bus to Dailuoding. The owner pick me up there. she is really nice. Definitely will go back to Wutai ( the place is absolutely amazing ) ❤️❤️
