It only takes a few minutes to walk to the entrance and you can take the free bus into Mount Wutai.
2. If there was no construction outside, it would still be very quiet at night.
3. The room is relatively large.
4. The services are very good.
The shortcomings are:
1. The hotel is newly renovated, so there is a smell in the room
2. In a duplex room, the upper floor is relatively short and depressing. The bathroom is on the upper floor, so it is relatively small and stuffy. This also causes the upper bedroom to be hotter and hotter. It is recommended to put it on the lower floor.
3. Duplex room air conditioners are only available on the lower floor. As the cold air sinks and the hot air rises, the bedrooms below are already very cold while the bedrooms on the upper floors are still stuffy. 6. There is no socket at the bedside on the lower floor, making it inconvenient to charge mobile phones.

I asked the service desk for it, but after searching for a long time, there was no extra electric mosquito coil, so I could only spray it to prevent mosquitoes from biting.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during this trip and had such a pleasant experience that I had to share it. The location of the hotel is very convenient, less than a kilometer off the highway, which is perfect for tourists traveling by car. The stay was very comfortable, clean and tidy. The receptionist at the front desk was warm and thoughtful. Parking in the courtyard was very convenient. This 5 points is given to the boss. The boss is very good. He helped us contact the car. The next day, the room was upgraded. The boss could put a small shoe rack in the 3-person room. The bathroom bathing place was filled with a small object box on the wall. Toiletries were placed for the guests. The basin sewer in the 3-person room had a deodorant situation. The room is a bit tide, it may be the reason for the climate there. Wutai Mountain is thundering and a little afraid of people. The room is recommended to put bottled mineral water. The whole family was driving to Mount Wutai. I saw this hotel from Ctrip and it had good ratings. So I chose Qixiange Guesthouse. It was indeed a worthwhile trip. The hotel has an excellent location and beautiful scenery. Beautiful environment, clean and tidy. GGuest UserHighly recommended! During a solo winter trip to Wutai Shan, this was a great place to stay. The room was very comfortable (and warm), and the location is very close to the tourist bus station (very useful for those coming from Taiyuan or Beijing by bus), as well as the main temple area in the central valley. There are also many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The price was also very affordable, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Definitely I would stay here again!

ZZuzuFacilities: There is a dirt road outside the B&B, it is dirty, and there is no parking space. We just park everywhere. It was around 9pm when the owner let us park next to a huge smelly garbage dump. There is a construction site outside the hotel, which feels really bad. The public areas in the B&B are more elegant, but the room facilities are outdated. There are no hangers or places to dry the clothes, and the experience of putting them on the railings of the walkway is very poor.
Hygiene: Overall it is relatively clean, but there are small bugs on the floor and walls at night. (The first picture was taken when I came back today to collect clothes. There was no hanging paper when we checked in)
Service: After parking the car at night, the male shop owner took the initiative to help carry the box and did not let the box walk all the way in the mud. The female shop owner also asked us enthusiastically how we came, how to get there, and how to get to the scenic spot. She also took the initiative to ask us not to drive the next day because there were many people and cars, so she asked the male shop owner to take us to the starting point and take the bus, which was great with our children. Sit alone. It turned out that the next morning there was nothing about last night. I took the initiative to ask her how to send us off. She immediately pretended to be stupid and said you can take the bus yourself! I was very puzzled. After I went out, I met the male shopkeeper. In the end, I asked the male shopkeeper to take us out of the sun-drenched and dirty dirt road and take us to the entrance of the village to take a bus. I took my children for more than 10 stops along the way to the Wu Dad Temple.
There are many B&Bs and hotels on Wutai Mountain. This B&B is not worth more than 500 in terms of location and setting. Having a lot of frivolous public facilities in the store does not make any sense to our guests. The experience of staying here is not good!

My only criticism is I don't like that there is a big bottle of water which appears generous until you realize you have to pay for it, as well as a phone charger which you also need to pay to use. It's not that I mind paying, but by putting it in the room, it seems like an extra cash grab which takes away from the initial warm hospitality, especially since the room isn't cheap.

Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

PPeichen 1222It was my first time to worship in Mount Wutai and I chose this newly opened hotel. The location is very close to major temples. Opposite is Puhua Temple. There is bus No. 8 20 meters next to it. It is very convenient for those who don’t have a car. The restaurant on the second floor is also very good. The breakfast is beyond imagination and has a complete range of categories. Since I forgot to take pictures that day, go and experience it yourself 😉 The front desk and hotel services are very warm and thoughtful. The room is cleaned every day, and even slippers are provided. I got new ones, disposable face towels and toilet mats, and the toiletries are also good. I brought them with me but didn’t use them. The toilet and washing area in the room were extremely large, and the room was very crowded. These were still tolerable, but the main thing was that the smell was too bad. I couldn't fall asleep at night when I lay in bed, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't fall asleep at two o'clock, and I was actually very angry. I thought about changing hotels tomorrow, but it was too late and I was too lazy to bother. I thought this was probably part of the practice in Mount Wutai. Finally, I calmed down and went to sleep. The next day the hotel said to change the room. The smell was indeed less, and the breakfast in the morning was okay. It was also more convenient around, so I didn't change hotels.
