Merlinhod Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Towers Huimin street store) Reviews

We stayed here for 4 nights. (2-6 Oct 2024) Our flight was early morning and glad that we’re able to check in early. The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. The location is just perfect, near the Muslim Quarter and Drum Tower, all within walking distance. The subway station is just a stone’s throw away . Easy to find halal/muslim food. Mind that the staple food here is noodle and rice kinda hard to find. The only drawback for me is the bathroom wall is half frosted glass, feels awkward, its should be privacy.

Hot wl staff are very friendly. Room is old but clean. Pay extra at hotel to upgrade to a better room. Hotel provides plenty of bottle water in guest room and hotel lobby. Breakfast spread is quite good

Everything was great, the only inconvenience was that no one speaks English at the reception.

We love the room so much as it was spacious with private desk area and sumptuous breakfast. The hotel was located near clock tower too and good service such as complimentary noodle at night.

Overall, I had a great experience during my stay at this hotel. The staff, from the doorman to the receptionist and maids, were all very friendly and accommodating. The location was also convenient, as it was close to the Muslim quarters and a subway station. While the hotel may feel a bit old, it was well-maintained and my room was spacious and clean. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel for its excellent service and convenient location.

The hotel is close to the Muslim quarters as well as the drum and bell towers. The staff were professional and friendly. The hotel is a little old, but it’s clean and has alot to offer. For the price, it’s amazing. I would definitely recommend it!

The staff did not speak English but we were able to communicate thanks to a translator. The location is right next to the Bell and Drum towers as well as to the Muslim food neighborhood. Very convenient.

The location is good and convenient . Near lot of walking streets and shopping malls. The furniture ok but the toilet look old. Lot of drinking water provide and breakfast spread ok.

Good location, next to metro and Huimin Jie. Hotel provides breakfast, afternoon tea and supper, value for money. This hotel is abit old but clean.

We were given the older wing . Room toilet was smelly . We have to request for another room.

Service very polite and helpful. Bravo! Localization of hotel super! Centre, walking distance to Tower Bell, Drum Tower. The reception seems promising, but the rooms definitely need a good renovation, especially: bathrooms, showers, sewage - there was a bad smell from the sewage system in the room. Initially, I got a room from the street, but it was quite noisy even after closing the windows, I asked to change the room. And we did it without any problems. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are generally clean. Nice additional attraction in the form of afternoon tea included, nudles in the evening and delicious tea in the Room.
