Xiamen Xiang'an District Hotels

I went on a business trip to Xiang'an District and chose this hotel. The hotel is in a good location with a bus stop at the door. The hotel facilities are good, the environment is relatively quiet and comfortable, the staff are also very warm and thoughtful, the room is clean and hygienic, and they specifically asked for any suggestions for improvement when checking out and recorded them carefully. The price-performance ratio is quite high, and I am quite satisfied with it overall. When I checked in, there was a waiter to help pull the suitcase, and the front desk staff who checked in were very polite and enthusiastic. The room has all the basic needs and is very clean! The room also has a small balcony! Must like!

I booked this hotel specifically for the concert shuttle service. You need to book the hotel's shuttle bus two days in advance. They have a dedicated chat group for the shuttle where hotel staff are available to answer questions, which I found very helpful. Unfortunately, fate had other plans that day; my train was delayed, so I had to go straight to the stadium. It was only when I hailed a taxi that I realized the distance from Xiamen North Station to the hotel was roughly the same as to the stadium. The hotel isn't particularly close to the arena. To make matters worse, the takeout I'd ordered to be delivered to the hotel went uneaten and had to be thrown away – a real shame. Thankfully, I managed to perfectly rendezvous with the shuttle bus and get my luggage on board; otherwise, I honestly don't know what I would have done. After the concert, for reasons unknown, the shuttle bus didn't arrive on time, and we waited for quite a while. By then, I was exhausted, hungry, and hot, feeling incredibly frustrated. The unclear communication led to a lot of unnecessary walking, and frankly, I was on the verge of losing it! However, I could also see how difficult it was for the staff; they were still tirelessly organizing everyone onto the buses and coordinating matters so late into the night – truly commendable effort. By the time I finally retrieved my luggage, it was already 11:40 PM; it was quite an ordeal! The hotel was apparently preparing some concert-related merchandise or support items, but since I didn't leave from the hotel, I didn't get to see what they offered. Oh, and yes, I did get a commemorative ticket, which made me really happy! I was quite satisfied with the room's cleanliness, and the bedding was very comfortable, especially the pillows. I even asked the front desk for the pillow model and found out it was the same as the ones I have at home. It's odd how I still found the hotel's pillows to be even more comfortable! The room's soundproofing was excellent. The next day, I slept in until I naturally woke up. Breakfast was served until 11 AM, with plenty of choices. The Shacha noodles were particularly delicious, and I left feeling very satisfied. They also have a laundry room, which was incredibly convenient; I could throw my clothes in during the morning and pick them up right after breakfast. The hotel's location is decent, with plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, with ride-hailing apps readily available, getting around is convenient. A taxi ride to Zhongshan Road, for instance, costs around 70 RMB, so it's a bit of a distance, but easily manageable. Outside of concert periods, the price offers excellent value for money!

The staff at this hotel are excellent and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is more Chinese than Western, without coffee, but tasty. The hotel is far away from the activities of the city and the bus and train rides are very long. There were no extra facilities at the hotel other than the restaurant for breakfast. They don't serve lunch or dinner except they do serve a late evening snack of sweet dumplings.

I have to give a good review to this hotel. I often go out, and I didn't expect to find such a high-end hotel outside the island. The hotel is very new, with a lot of smart devices and a full sense of technology. The hotel windows are very large, and the door is very ventilated when opened. I like it very much. As I stay in more hotels, I become more and more picky, but I can hardly find any faults with this hotel. I also want to praise the breakfast. The buffet breakfast is only 30 yuan, but the dishes are very rich, and the boss is really very kind! I will definitely stay here again when I come to Xiamen in the future! Thank you!

Upon check-in, I actually saw the front desk staff meticulously inspecting a freshly cleaned room, which spoke volumes about their attention to detail. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of high-quality options that changed daily. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located in a quiet area amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Although it's located on a main road, it's not noisy. The room is spacious, the bathroom facilities are good, and basic toiletries are provided. The service is excellent. The front desk staff is attentive and friendly, which is really great. The breakfast is also quite rich. The restaurant is elegant and the breakfast is quite comfortable. I would definitely choose this hotel again. The facilities are excellent in every way.

Watching Jay Chou's concert, this room is the best I booked in Xiamen. I stayed there for 6 days and 5 nights. The 1.8-meter king bed I originally booked was upgraded to a 2-meter king bed for free. The room was very clean. Some of the reviews were really bad, but I really give a sincere review as a tourist. There is a shuttle bus, breakfast is delivered, the service of the front desk lady and the room manager is really good, and there are watermelons and small desserts in the evening. I hope the hotel will get better and better. Jay Chou will definitely stay in this hotel for his next Xiamen concert!

I stayed at the Lavande Hotel Xiang'an Maxiang while in town for a concert, and it was a very comfortable experience. The front desk staff member was very friendly and enthusiastic. He proactively helped me with my large suitcase and thoughtfully informed me that Xiang'an Xiangshan was just a ten-minute taxi ride away. The room facilities weren't spectacular, but they were perfectly adequate. The bedding was just the right firmness, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Hot water was instant and the temperature was stable. On my way out in the morning, I ran into a cleaning staff member tidying the hallway; she greeted me with a friendly smile, which was very welcoming. The hotel is a convenient ten-minute walk from Maxiang Old Street, which was great for dinner – I enjoyed some oyster omelets there. Overall, it's a no-frills hotel, but the solid service and excellent location were very reassuring. Great value for money.
