There were many food stalls downstairs late at night, which made the area quite lively. Overall, if you're just looking for a place to crash before an early flight and don't mind the environment, it's acceptable."

The guesthouse's location is excellent, close to Zhongshan Road, making shopping and dining convenient. The sky garden in the common area is elegant and pleasant. The owner's service was thoughtful and attentive, responding promptly to all my travel needs. The room facilities were complete, ensuring a secure and relaxing stay. The value for money is excellent. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Xiamen, and I will book here again for future trips."

"It was a basic stay, very basic amenities were there, but for cleaning it was not enough, as everything seems used from previous customer, like they have just arranged it again. Reception and hotel both are basically different buildings altogether (can say it justifies hidden stay). Some cost cutting was there as instead of proper cups , disposable glasses were there. But overall, at the price they are offering justifies it in location like this."

"The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Zhonghua City Food Street with plenty of dining options! Transportation is also very convenient, with bus and subway stations less than a ten-minute walk away. The hotel staff are all very nice. They gave me a free upgrade to a more comfortable room during check-in, and the robot delivered food orders directly to my door. The only minor hiccup was when the cleaning aunt mistakenly threw away my ginger duck. The hotel immediately apologized and responsibly replaced it for me. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Xiamen!"

First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. You're right in a commercial area the moment you step out, making it super convenient to get to the airport and all the attractions – no worries about transportation at all. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was so comfortable that it instantly melted away my travel fatigue. Hampton's 'cloud' mattress truly lives up to its reputation. But what really blew me away was the service. Especially the front desk lady with the warm, smiling eyes – she was simply the epitome of beauty and kindness! During check-in, she not only thoughtfully upgraded me to a quieter room with a better view but also, seeing my laptop, proactively asked if I needed an extra network cable. When I casually mentioned wanting to try Shacha noodles during check-out, she immediately pulled out her hand-drawn 'foodie map,' highlighting old eateries where locals go. That genuine sincerity and enthusiasm were truly warmer than Xiamen's sunshine itself."

Xiamen Lujiang Harbourview Hotel
"This was my first time staying at the Lujiang Hotel since its reopening in 2025, and I was pleasantly surprised. The attention to detail was excellent, and I decided to extend my stay. We arrived around 6 PM during peak traffic, and the doorman quickly helped us with valet parking, allowing us to check in smoothly. We chose the 270-degree sea view two-bedroom suite. The front desk staff kindly provided us with happy hour experience vouchers and a Minnan cuisine set meal experience during check-in, which was a nice touch. The switchboard operators were also very warm and went out of their way to assist us. 👍🏻 Our room on the sixth floor offered a superb view, directly facing Gulangyu Island. It was lovely to look out the window both day and night. When we returned to our room after dinner, the hotel had thoughtfully provided some warm dessert. We had done our laundry, and upon our return, the housekeeping department provided a floor-standing drying rack and helped us hang up our clothes. This was a very thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture! 👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel breakfast, served on the seventh floor, was very rich and semi-buffet style. Enjoying the view while having breakfast was a great way to start the new day. The Lujiang Hotel's new look is fantastic! 👍🏻 I would definitely choose to stay here again."

The room was surprisingly clean and tidy; the bedding and desk were spotless, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors. It was a very comfortable stay. And the agate heat therapy on the second floor is a hidden gem – the jade equipment is clean and consistently heated, providing an amazing way to relieve travel fatigue. It's clean, hygienic, and offers a rich variety of amenities. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling city, allowing for both exploration and relaxation. My stay was absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend it!"

"The entire room is equipped with XiaoDu smart control, so you can operate the lights and curtains just by speaking. There's a 65-inch large-screen TV that supports screen mirroring, and wireless charging is available by the bedside – a dream for phone users! The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, a smart toilet, and excellent water pressure with fast hot water, making even late-night showers comfortable. The common areas have everything you need: a self-service laundry room, a gym, a lobby with a fresh coffee machine and ice maker, and a robot that delivers items directly to your door by calling the elevator. Downstairs, you'll find Xiamen Station South Plaza and a subway entrance, and MixC Mall is within walking distance. The facilities and convenience are top-notch for this price range."

"Our stay at Langham Xiamen was excellent overall! I have to commend the housekeeping; the room was spotless, and the bathroom and bedding details were meticulously handled. The room's amenities are top-notch, and the bedding quality is fantastic – I especially loved their large square pillows. Although the twin beds were a bit small, similar to those in Southeast Asian tourist cities (around 1.15m), the overall room size was generous, making it suitable for both business and leisure. Room service was prompt and discreet. It truly lives up to its reputation as a classic British brand. Special thanks to Ms. Cheng Lin, the Guest Relations Manager. Her service was incredibly thoughtful. She remembered me and my child when we saw her at the lobby lounge during afternoon tea, and again at checkout, even recalling my car entry issue. I will definitely stay here again. The only minor drawback was being assigned a street-facing room. The window's soundproofing wasn't great, and I could clearly hear traffic noise late at night. Light sleepers might want to request an inner room in advance when checking in. Otherwise, everything else was impeccable."
