Cleanliness: Generally very good.
Environment: Near Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, very convenient. Easy to order takeout as well.
Service: Overall very good. Just wish the hot dishes at breakfast could be improved a bit; there are plenty of dessert options. Also, last year coffee was free, but this year it's charged. So, I just ordered some Luckin Coffee for delivery instead.

11360195****The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Gulangyu Island. It's tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to Longtou Road, where all the restaurants are, and attractions like Sunlight Rock and Shuzhuang Garden. We stayed in Building 9, which was very peaceful. It hardly felt like the bustling National Day holiday, but as soon as we stepped out of the hotel, we were met with throngs of people – truly two different worlds! The hotel has a private back exit for guests that leads to a quiet beach with very few people. The kids absolutely loved it, braving the heat and strong sun for over two hours, catching several small crabs.
The hotel used to be a government retreat and is now open to the public. While the facilities and decor are a bit dated, you can tell the original fixtures are still of good quality. The room even came with tea ceremony tools, and the kids had a blast playing tea master – the Dahongpao tea was delicious.
The hotel service is outstanding. They offer exclusive shuttle transfers from the ferry terminal to the hotel when you arrive and depart. If you're heading straight to the ferry after sightseeing, you can arrange a time with the hotel, and they'll deliver your luggage to the terminal, allowing you to enjoy your day worry-free. The staff are also incredibly helpful; knowing the kids wanted to play on the beach, they even brought sand-digging tools. When we encountered a staff member on the road and asked for directions to the beach, he simply walked us all the way there. We genuinely loved this hotel and highly recommend it.

EE1864****This hotel is nestled in a beautiful century-old house right next to Bagua Building, offering a charming and rustic atmosphere with warm and attentive service. The butler contacted us early with directions and even waited at the bottom of the slope to help with our luggage. After check-in, they enthusiastically provided us with a Gulangyu Island itinerary and a guide to local delicacies. The view from the hotel's third-floor terrace is stunning, especially at night – it's perfect for photos!

The hotel's service was outstanding; they provided free printing and even refrigerated my medication. The laundry room, located right across from the front desk on the first floor, had three washers and three dryers. I forgot my clothes in the washer overnight, and to my surprise, they had already been dried when I checked in the morning. Upon entering the room, I found the central air conditioning already running. There's also a gym equipped with fitness machines. The breakfast was typical for an economy hotel, with fresh and reliable ingredients, and the eggs were quite large. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm near Xiamen North Station.

GGuest UserPerched on a hillside, the hotel offers a serene and secluded atmosphere within its courtyard. The staff were all wonderful; they even created a dedicated WeChat group for our room, allowing us to ask any questions or request assistance, which they addressed promptly. They also thoughtfully sent us a location map and information on nearby attractions. What's more, the air conditioning in our room was already on before our check-in, and stepping inside immediately melted away our exhaustion. Unlike typical hotels, the accommodations here are individual bungalows, making the environment incredibly peaceful. We slept wonderfully, with only the gentle birdsong in the early morning to break the silence. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. I hadn't brought my own hairdryer, and to my pleasant surprise, the hotel provided a Ruafee one. It was incredibly powerful, leaving my hair smooth and shiny – easily as good as a Dyson! The only minor inconvenience was that drying clothes wasn't very practical, as our room was quite a distance from the drying area on the second-floor terrace near the front desk. Right outside our room, we stumbled upon a baby bird that had fallen from its nest. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, bringing a ladder to safely return it. Unfortunately, a typhoon hit that night, and the little one came down again, seeking shelter in the corridor beside our door. We couldn't find it when we checked out, and I truly hope it's safe and well. I also wish the hotel all the best for the future!

The facilities and environment are excellent, and the soundproofing is acceptable. While I didn't get to see the sunrise in the morning, I'm still very satisfied. 😌
The front desk is on the 6th floor, and you need a key card to access guest rooms on floors 2-5. The service is great; they proactively offer travel tips and can store your luggage, among other things.

BBlindSmileThis was my second time staying here, and I chose the Deluxe Suite. The room was spacious, clean, and felt more like a serviced apartment—with a huge sofa that could easily seat 6–8 people, a proper living area, and a comfy king bed that made it easy to get good rest.
The hotel has its own dedicated lobby for drop-off and pick-up, which made arrivals smooth and hassle-free.
Staff were friendly and attentive. I was offered free breakfast, and they even helped with laundry by moving my clothes from the washer to the dryer and placing them at the counter for pickup—just let them know in advance.
The food was great, with a mix of Western and Chinese options that were both delicious and satisfying.
The location is convenient, especially if you're attending events at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center, and getting around the area is easy.
Overall, a smooth and enjoyable stay. Everything was handled with care. I’ll definitely be back.

工作人员非常友善且乐于助人。他们为我提供了免费早餐，还贴心地帮我把洗衣机里的衣服转移到烘干机，然后放到前台等我来取——提前告诉他们一声就可以。
中餐和西餐都很好吃，早餐种类丰富，品质也不错。
酒店的位置很方便，去厦门国际会展中心非常近，出行也很方便。
整体体验非常顺畅和舒适，服务周到，物有所值。下次还会再来。

GGuest UserIt truly lives up to its name as a grand hotel. While it might not be the newest property, the facilities are all of high quality. The only minor issue was that the air conditioning wasn't quite cold enough. However, they kindly upgraded us to a lake-view room for free, which was a lovely surprise! I appreciate these larger, conference-style hotels; they offer a great sense of security. Moreover, it's conveniently located close to all the main attractions, with taxi fares typically just over ten yuan.

GGuest UserWe have been staying in here for a family trip. It is so great a place to stay. It's close to everywhere and only a walk distance for the public transportation. Around the hotel, there are so many good places for meal, not only the street snack, but also formal meals. And staying at night, you may hangout very late. There is always interesting things to do. Bed is very comfortable, and room has been cleaned and refilled daily. I would highly recommended.
