The hotel service was excellent, always responsive to our needs and going above and beyond to satisfy guests. No matter the time, they were always quick to assist. The service even started before we arrived on the island; hotel staff contacted us days in advance to confirm our needs during our stay, reminded us about the ferry tickets required for the island, and even helped us book them. After adding the concierge on WeChat, they sent us information about hotel and island activities, and could assist with advance bookings and ticket reservations. Upon arrival, the concierge met us at the pier and helped with our luggage. Any questions we had during our stay were answered instantly via WeChat. When we checked out, they even gave us a souvenir and helped transport our luggage back to the pier. Considering we had a lot of luggage, a staff member specifically accompanied us on the ferry, helping with our bags the entire way. The whole stay felt very warm and reassuring; it’s a hotel full of human touch. The hotel environment is very quiet, with an ecological park next to it. Walking through the park leads to the beach, and the coastline is beautiful and great for walks. A truly excellent stay!

Anonymous UserArrived late at night, and every design detail was thoughtfully considered. The overall decor is minimalist and gentle, with natural wood textures paired with soft, muted furnishings, creating a relaxed and tranquil ambiance throughout. Every photo opportunity was stunning. The freestanding bathtub with a view was a definite highlight for me. Soaking in a hot bath in the evening, enjoying a drink while watching the sunset over the sea, really set the mood. The hot water supply was plentiful and consistent, complemented by the high-quality toiletries provided by the owner, which had a warm and sophisticated scent—a truly satisfying experience. Breakfast offered a rich variety, far from perfunctory, and included freshly ground coffee with a rich and mellow taste. The ingredients were fresh and filling. The owner and staff were attentive and thoughtful, promptly responding to any requests. This guesthouse is full of intricate details, from the soft furnishings to the amenities, all showcasing great care. It's perfect for those looking to slow down and relax, offering a escape from the hustle and bustle while boasting prime ocean views.

Guest UserThis is my second stay here, and it truly is Xiamen's best landmark with the most stunning views. I fall in love with it every time! The room is spacious, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking vista. Soaking in the tub while watching the sunset over the sea in the evening creates an incredibly romantic atmosphere. The room cleaning is meticulous, amenities are of superior quality, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a peaceful and restful stay. The staff's service is perfectly balanced – warm, professional, and attentive. A special thanks to our butler, Joni, who was incredibly thoughtful and caring, making us feel truly welcomed. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth. Breakfast is also very rich, a delightful fusion of Chinese and Western dishes, including local Shacha noodles, Southern Fujian snacks, and Jian'ou Guangbing (biscuits). The high-altitude heated swimming pool and executive lounge experience are fantastic. The location is uniquely advantageous, within walking distance to Shapowei Art Zone and very convenient for reaching Huandao Road and Nanputuo Temple. Highly recommended!

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Maoyoudazhaimen1. **Outstanding Design and Thoughtful Decor**
Designed by CCD, the hotel boasts a captivating Southeast Asian and rainforest-inspired theme. The public areas are adorned with extensive wood finishes, artistic擺件 (artistic擺件 can be translated as decorative pieces or art installations depending on context, 'decorative pieces' works well here), and glass installations, creating a sophisticated ambiance perfect for photos. It's a refreshing change from typical, cookie-cutter business hotels.
2. **Unique Layout: Front Desk on the 5th Floor**
The ground floor only houses the hotel entrance, requiring guests to take an elevator to the 5th floor for check-in. The 'sky lobby' offers expansive views and a novel design. While it might be a bit unusual for first-time guests, it offers a very special experience.
3. **Excellent Natural Light**
The room type I stayed in had three windows, which was a huge plus for this hotel! Most chain hotels only have a single window. A room with three windows feels spacious, is filled with natural light during the day, and offers broad views.
4. **New Facilities and Family-Friendly**
The hardware is very new, indicating the hotel hasn't been open long, so wear and tear on facilities is minimal. It features a heated swimming pool, a gym, and a small children's play area, making it very family-friendly.
5. **Driver-Friendly and Convenient Location**
There's free underground parking for those driving. The hotel is also located right above the Talent Center Metro Station on Line 3, and it's a convenient 3km away from SM Lifestyle Plaza, making dining options easily accessible.

ten.ten.2020First of all, the location is pretty amazing. There are plenty of really good food around. The street food nearby is decent, albeit a little pricey. A few of the restaurants nearby are very good for the price. It's also super close within walking distance to a Sam's Club, which is the China equivalent of a CostCo or Walmart.. You'll need membership to get in, so do try to get a friend to help.
Ordering deliveries from Taobao or ******* to this hotel was also pretty amazing. Everything came ahead of time and unbroken. Every room's sound isolation was amazing, with heavy doors that were sealed down to the very bottom edges.
The carpark was also VERY large. It was enough for 3 large tour buses to park overnight, and yet still had room for lots of cars and bikes.
Hotel service was responsive, but was not proactive and lacked initiative.
What's bad are the facilities and attention to detail:
1) They put air purifiers next to wide open windows. What's the point of that? Are you trying to filter the air for the entire city?
2) We were given non-smoking rooms, but there are ash trays in the rooms and the whole corridors and elevators smell of cigarettes for the weekend we stayed. Please separate smoking guests on their own floors.
3) The HVAC and air conditioning triggered my allergies the whole stay. I'm pretty sure they do not clean the HVAC pipes and ducts, given the amount of smoking guests.

ChunfengbudengxianI had high expectations for Le Méridien Xiamen, a high-end Marriott property, especially after booking the One-Bedroom Villa Suite 1101. However, my experience was deeply disappointing.
First, there were hygiene issues. On the first night, I found a bug while dining in the restaurant. Later, I discovered a dead insect in the downstairs bathroom of my room. When I called housekeeping, I also realized the doorbell was broken. For a high-end hotel, this level of hygiene and facility maintenance is simply unacceptable.
The most egregious issue was the guest room security.
Due to the broken doorbell, the hotel said they would arrange for repairs. I understood that equipment needed fixing and was willing to cooperate. However, the next day at noon, while I was taking a nap in my room, I suddenly heard noises outside. When I opened the door, a male maintenance worker had already entered the room area and set up a ladder near the stairs, ready to start repairs.
Throughout this entire process, I received no phone call, no text message, no email, and absolutely no form of consent was requested. Both I and my companion are female, and we were genuinely shocked and felt extremely unsafe. We had to demand that he leave immediately.
To this day, I wonder: Does the hotel allow non-emergency maintenance staff to enter an occupied room without the guest's knowledge? How does such a procedure ensure guest privacy and safety?
Beyond that, the front desk service was also disappointing. One evening, I wanted to inquire about a specific dish I had ordered via in-room dining for lunch, just to know which restaurant it came from. The front desk repeatedly insisted I show the order receipt and made no effort to help me look it up. As we tried to find the consumption record, the staff even walked away directly, leaving us stranded at the front desk, showing a complete lack of service awareness.
Later, at the Chinese restaurant, I first tried to order baby lobsters, but was told they were unavailable. I switched to green crab, waited a while, and was told that was also unavailable. I then changed to mud crab, and again, it wasn't available. This happened three times in a row, with each unavailability communicated only after a long wait. In the end, I had to settle for yellow croaker. The food tasted good, but the overall dining experience was very poor.
After dinner, I went to the executive lounge. There was almost no proactive service, and the staff were chatting loudly, completely undermining the quiet and professional atmosphere one expects from an executive lounge.
My impression from this stay is not that just one aspect was flawed, but that there were significant shortcomings across hygiene management, room maintenance, security management, front desk service, F&B operations, and executive lounge service.
Specifically, the incident where a male maintenance worker was arranged to enter an occupied room without guest consent is what I found most unacceptable. Equipment can break down, but a hotel should never disregard a guest's fundamental right to privacy, security, and information.
I hope the hotel thoroughly investigates this matter and provides a formal explanation. I also hope other guests, especially female guests, are aware of this.

Guest UserCame to Xiamen to see the sea and stayed at this apartment. It was a really heartwarming experience. First off, the hygiene was impeccable, and secondly, the price was very affordable for most people, around a hundred yuan, which is incredible value for money. The provided dryer was particularly practical; it meant I didn't have to carry a bunch of extra clothes while traveling, which was super convenient. Downstairs, there's a shopping area, making it easy to get around. The owner's service was also very warm and appropriate. Overall, a very comfortable experience.

My stay here was excellent! The hotel's location is fantastic, making it easy to get around, and there are plenty of amenities nearby. The room was clean, spacious, and odor-free, with great natural light. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive, responding quickly to any requests. The self-service laundry and free parking were a nice touch. The overall environment was quiet with good soundproofing, allowing for a very restful sleep. It's great value for money and a hotel I would highly recommend!
