GGuest UserMolly has been exceptional for us. She is attentive, responsive and meticulous during our entire stay at Loh Kah. From the day one she has been constantly checking in on us to make sure that all needs are taken care of. And even to the last day when we check off the hotel, she volunteered to take a couple photo for us, to really help us sum up the hotel stay in a very nice and romantic manner, something that we do appreciate a lot about. The hotel stay has been great as well. The water treatment, SPA has been a great experience for us and at the the treatment is free of charge so we really get to really experience it. The whole state has been very scenic, comfortable and well thought of so we would definitely come back to Loh Kah again

GGuest UserSpending a night on Gulangyu Island is truly a wonderful way to experience it! Our hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated old building that was once the German consulate. In our room, one window offered views of banana trees, while the other showcased vibrant phoenix flowers – it was absolutely stunning! The common areas were also gorgeous, quiet, and comfortable, making it perfect for taking beautiful photos. Breakfast was a set menu, and they even offered children's meals, which we were very satisfied with!

GGuest UserLin's Hotel is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. Although other rooms are being renovated temporarily, from the first step of consulting the hotel and adding WeChat, they patiently introduced to me the matters that I should pay attention to when I came to Gulangyu. During this period, I had to cancel the room for one night because of booking a flight ticket, and they also helped me solve it very patiently. They also helped me get my luggage at Sanqiutian Wharf and added a bed for me in the room. What surprised me was that the young man in the hotel not only provided patient explanations with a smile every time, but also clearly remembered the situation of each old customer's stay in the hotel. When you get up, he will ask you if you need any help. Before you finish your meal, he will ask if you are satisfied and whether he can provide noodles for us northerners for breakfast tomorrow. This is a thoughtful service that I have not experienced in many hotels, especially the kind brother who squatted at the door and waited when we returned at night. He made us feel the unique sense of security that Gulangyu brings us. If any friends are coming to Gulangyu, I will first recommend Lin's Mansion

MMisiDUANSee you next time in Lijiazhuang! It overturned my noisy impression of hotels in popular scenic spots~ The environment and service are very good and considerate, and the style of combining Chinese and Western styles is really liked! Very good~ The hotel gives away special afternoon tea and unique handmade tea snacks, which are not sweet and delicious! Although it is a holiday, it is quite quiet. This is my first time to Gulangyu and the best experience I have ever had. I also went to the tea art experience ”Ersan Cong” for free. There is a young lady who is very good. She patiently explains every tea and every seasonal tea snack, which are all very special! The young lady's brewing technique is also very good, unlocking a new view of tea. His tea is really good, and I also brought some~ After this whole set of experience, I think I will come to Gulangyu again~ Maybe it is for afternoon tea in different seasons and the tea snacks of ”Ersan Cong”, or it may be to be able to quietly daze on the balcony of ”Lijiazhuang” and enjoy the quietness... Oh, by the way! I also gave away a lot of coupons for stores~ They are all stores that don't step on thunder!

CChunjieyukuaiAlthough the hotel is a building from the Republic of China period, it does not have the shabby feeling of living in an old house. The window faces the beach next to Shuzhuang Garden, and the scenery is pleasant. The service staff in this hotel are very polite, which makes the trip to Gulangyu Island more comfortable. I will definitely come back next time if I have the chance.

SSamanthaThis hotel was originally the one I was most looking forward to during our self-driving trip.
But this experience also made me once again determined not to book homestays when traveling in the future.
First, let me talk about the good feelings:
1. Before checking in, the housekeeper took the initiative to contact me, added WeChat, and gave me directions from Sanqiutian Wharf to the hotel. I watched the video first to get a general impression and then followed the navigation to find the hotel's location accurately.
2. The room type I booked has two rooms. I was taken to see both rooms first and choose the one I like.
3. Wheelchairs, strollers, umbrellas, these thoughtful little items are all available. The child's foot was broken and the plaster had just been removed. We didn't bring our wheelchair to the island, but luckily the hotel had a wheelchair, which was a great help.
4. The environment of the small courtyard is really great. The guy with glasses in the hotel is a very nice person. He has a sense of boundaries and is very enthusiastic. He likes to chat with children. The restaurant he recommends is also very delicious.
Let me talk about the unsatisfactory parts:
1. As soon as I walked in, I had a bad feeling. I was not greeted by ”Hello, are you checking in? / How can I help you?” but ”What are you here for?” ”What's your name?” ”The room is still being cleaned, at least an hour (but another room had already been cleaned)”.
2. The actual situation of the room...I can only say that the picture is rendered too well. Every item in the room showed roughness and lack of maintenance.
3. There was a serious problem with the sewer in the room. It smelled so bad that it made me dizzy and want to vomit. I put the minibar diffuser next to the bed, but it still couldn't cover up the stench.
4. As the most expensive room type in the hotel, one has a noisy heating device on the top and the other is close to the street with pedestrians and garbage trucks which is also very noisy. It is really not a particularly good experience.
5. The so-called free travel photography is even more outrageous. It is completely a traffic diversion. It is arranged in advance, but it is completely equivalent to no appointment. I arrived at 2:30 pm on time. There was only one makeup artist in the store. The photographers must have been out for work. Then the grandma said impatiently that it wouldn't be that fast and I should just wait. I gave up decisively.
