The hotel is newly built, there are still some new furnishings smell in some parts of the hotel and most stuffs are young generations. The staffs are polite but need more trainings. During breakfast, they do not serve you to table, it a free walk in unlike other Sheraton pactice. One of the day, the staff make up the bed partially, the floor is not thoroughly clean up. The room view, comfort and space are definitely great. The only marriot bonvoy hotel in Jimei which save the time on travelling in and out of island for business trip however if you are for personal trips, there are only 2 malls beside the hotel, nothing much in the area.

I appreciate the room upgrade, early check-in, and the follow-up for feedback after my stay. For those who rely on fancy breakfasts, just a heads-up—it’s a very simple one, but enough to keep you from going hungry. Considering that most places in Xiamen don’t offer breakfast at all, it’s better than nothing. However, as I mentioned to the staff, the drinks could be improved. I couldn’t find anything suitable—milk was sweetened, and coffee already had milk in it. Even just hot water with tea bags would be a better option. Also, keep in mind that reaching most sightseeing spots by taxi takes around 30 minutes. All in all, a great option with good value for money.
