I. Check-in Experience 1. Room Type and Price: I booked a twin room with a courtyard for 1300 yuan/night (two adults, one child). The original beds were only 1.2 meters wide. After requesting a room change, we were only given a balcony room with 1.35-meter beds, no room upgrade (even though the lobby was empty on Monday, no upgrade was offered). This was a bad experience, especially since I brought my family to celebrate a birthday. Upon check-in, no one introduced the corresponding facilities or activities; you had to call or go to the front desk for everything! The bellhops were young girls (I helped carry the large suitcase) and they didn't have traditional luggage carts, only airport-style push trolleys. We had a lot of luggage and it didn't all fit. In the evening, two bottles of unknown brand yogurt were delivered without any container. Because the room was quite messy, they were placed in front of the TV. I didn't even dare to drink them, thinking they might have been left by staff randomly entering the room. It was that casual. 2. Room Experience: The room temperature was 25℃ but still equipped with thick duvets. The pillows were uncomfortable, soundproofing was poor, and there was light pollution. The room size was approximately 35-40 square meters. II. Hygiene and Facilities 1. Hygiene Issues: The back of the non-slip mat/bath mat had dirty mold and yellow stains, indicating inadequate cleaning. 2. Facility Issues: The instant hot water dispenser produced water with an odd smell and scale, the shower door was damaged, and the quality of toiletries was poor. III. Service Experience 1. Dining Service: The average spend at the Jucantang restaurant in the lobby was about 300 yuan. The food taste was acceptable, but the waitstaff were sullen throughout, lacking attentiveness. The red-haired Uyghur supervisor had a terrible attitude and spoke aggressively to guests. 2. Overall Service: The service quality in Building 18 severely mismatched its price point. I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family. PS: The kids' playground at this place is a very large room, but you have to buy tokens for the kiddie rides and claw machines. The music from the rocking horses is extremely loud, and the echo in the empty play area makes it even louder. I wonder if the management ever goes in there in the evening to turn on the rocking horses and listen. Even as an adult, I found it painfully shrill. This further highlights the insincerity and inadequacy of their service. IV. Other Experiences Parking: Ample outdoor parking, convenient. Environment: The hotel's exterior scenery is beautiful (the only positive).

Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel is a 5-star hotel located by Yangzhou Slender West Lake. It boasts an excellent location, superb service, and a truly beautiful garden-style environment. They even offer electric cart transfers to different areas of the hotel. The only downside is that the facilities are quite outdated. On November 30th, the weather in Yangzhou was surprisingly hot, over 20°C, and the room felt stuffy. I wanted to turn on the air conditioning, but the front desk informed me that since it's a central air conditioning system, at this time of year, it only offers heating or off mode, so cooling wasn't an option. This was definitely a negative experience 😂😂😂, but everything else was great.
