Not a very nice place. They put us in a room without a window. The receptionists show no desire to help, on the contrary, they are unhappy that we are interrupting a call with my mother. There is no sense of cleanliness inside. The worst thing was when the toilet got clogged and all the staff did for the day was bring a plunger after several of our requests. It's just awful. And according to the staff member, this happens. I do not recommend visiting. The pros are the location, not the very center, but not far to walk

One of the worst hotels I have ever been to !! Service zero !! Heaters not working !! Receptionist not polite at all !! The only staff available in the whole hotel were the receptionist and the bill boy who both of them doesn't speak English ! We were freezing in our room and they didn't care !! They said this is how it is ! I have never imagined that i will face this type of treatment in here ! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

We highly recommend this hotel; this is our first time traveling, and it is one of the most memorable experiences. My family and I would like to highlight one of the amazing, very friendly staff members, Mr. Arman (concierge). A truly gem in the hotel. He is super attentive, very friendly, helpful and informative. Whenever we need assistance, he is professional as he is prompt in attending to our inquiry and request. We will surely come back to Armenia and will choose to stay here again.

Uncomfortable Bed and Poor Hygiene: The bed provided is extremely uncomfortable, with a metal base that squeaks at the slightest movement. The pillows are of poor quality, and the bedding lacks protective covers, exposing visible yellow sweat stains. Additionally, there is a considerable amount of rubbish under the bed, indicating that the cleaning staff neglect to check this area. Inadequate Soundproofing: The sound insulation throughout the building is substandard. Conversations and footsteps from the hallway are clearly audible in the rooms, and whenever water is used, there is a loud noise that echoes in the room. Moreover, conversations, TV noise, and other sounds from adjacent rooms can be heard easily. Despite the policy prohibiting guests after 12 AM, parties in the restaurant are allowed to continue until 6 AM, creating disturbances for other guests. The staff appears indifferent to these issues, allowing disruptive behavior to go unchecked. Lack of Proper Management: The hotel shows a significant lack of management oversight. The rooms are poorly maintained, and essential amenities such as drinking water, tea, and cups are not provided. Ironically, while a kettle is supplied, there is no water to use with it. Room Maintenance Issues: Upon check-in, I had to compile a list of issues that were never addressed during my week-long stay. The shower system is poorly designed, with both the shower head and rain shower splashing water uncontrollably, making it difficult to enjoy a proper shower. The lights in the shower area flicker continuously, creating an unsettling atmosphere. The ventilation system is clogged with thick dust, preventing proper airflow. Additionally, the shower cubicle lacks proper sealing, causing water to flood the bathroom during use. There is also a large, unsightly stain on the bedroom wall, which appears to have been caused by a previous guest. Due to nearby construction, the room fills with dust when the windows are opened, yet the air conditioning is turned off to conserve energy. Breakfast and Service Quality: While the breakfast provided is acceptable, the staff does not prepare enough food for all guests. Only one staff member is seen handling the breakfast service, moving at a slow pace and bringing out items one at a time, which creates unnecessary delays for guests.

The calm and friendly environment and the friendly behavior of the staff will be the most important reason for me to go to this hotel again. Perfect for staying with family. The hygiene of the rooms is acceptable and proper care is taken to maintain cleanliness every day

Bass is not exactly centrally located, it takes a good 15/20 minutes to walk to Cascades and you will need a map or Google to get there. It's also not in a very attractive area to walk. Reception staff is not always able to communicate in English, depends on who's there at the time. There's often an elderly couple hanging around the lobby (the owners ?) and they certainly don't communicate. I got room 201, which was large with 2 single beds and plenty of space for luggage. Mini bar, small TV, desk and lounge seats. Bathroom is good with both shower and bath. My safe was not working, so the elderly man came up and changed it over. I had some trouble operating the TV and find English channels, so the same man came up and tried to sort out, but could not. My A/C was not working ; first they said they'd fix it, but then decided that "I should open the window". That was OK during the day, but got me the street noise at night . . . Breakfast is pretty standard with the usual choice of cold cheeses and meats, but no fresh juice or coffee. Look, Bass is OK, but it is not boutique. It is good value for money.

I would say that the service and breakfast here are better compared to Imperial. But we had to leave the place early as the hotel wasn’t looking like 4star hotel which we have paid beforehand. The location is kind of far from attractions and restaurants. They put us in attic room, means close to the ceiling. Bed looks like going to break. Minibar was not working. Small bathroom. Shower will touch your head. Room view was nice, can see Mt Ararat.

All rooms were no-smoking. Yet, you could smell cigarette at night and in the morning. Yes, smoking is a country-wide problem, but hotel cannot control it inside its on premises. Ridiculous! Do NOT advert it as non-smoking hotel. Rooms were small and dirty. Location is TERRIBLE. Breakfast likely the worst of the whole trip. Overall, not a single reason to stay here.
