Yufu Hotels with Wi-Fi

I thought it was self-service and no one was there. I didn't expect that there was someone to greet you at check-in. Someone told you the precautions. I thought the hotel was old, so I was prepared for it to be dirty. Fortunately, it was very clean. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is very close to the JR station. I rented a private hot spring. I agreed with the front desk and registered. I can soak in it at will. It is quite clean. If possible, it is better to bring a disposable quilt cover. There are still some places that are not covered by their quilt cover. There are not many sockets, so you need to bring a multi-plug one. The quilt is based on the number of guests. Small disposable cups are given. Remember to buy some at the supermarket.

There are cleaning, but for the price of the room, including other amenities, it was .... 【Bath】 Small towels are prepared in the public bath, so you don't need to use wet things. There are few amenities in the dressing room. [Meal] Private room in the dining hall with evening breakfast. Dinner and Bungo beef steak were soft and delicious. When I entered the private room, I was already prepared for sashimi and baked fish on the table. There may be corona measures, but the baked fish was cold, so it was a little disappointing. There was breakfast, hot tofu and specialty ryukyu. There was a matcha and sweet service at check-in. It is good to spend a leisurely time walking to Lake Jinxi. I just felt that it was not as expensive.

I stayed for several nights, but I was able to spend it slowly. Since it is a maisonette type, I was able to take a nap slowly, and the indoor and open-air baths on the １ floor were also good. I'm patient that the washing area is a little small. There were also 4 large communal baths. It's not very big, but I happened to be able to put it in comfortably under 2-3 people. Is it because the bath in the room is substantial? The large communal bath is fully equipped with towels. The dinner was polite and the presentation was good and delicious. I stayed in Color 々 but it was the top class among them.

The large open-air bath overlooking Mt. Yufu has the best atmosphere. It's warm, so you can soak in it leisurely. For men, there is already a １ or a small open-air bath that is hot and can be used by the bridge. I stayed in the main building. It is a building with a considerable age, and although it is undeniably old, the toilet has been renovated and cleaned well. The dishes were basic plans, so there were no high-class ingredients, but I was satisfied with the contents that I could feel politeness. Finally, the response of the employees was very good and made the impression of this inn very good.

It's a great place to enjoy hot springs The location is good walking distance from the station. I ate at the restaurant by showing my key and the course meal was delicious. Free wifi is fast The TV is not as good as a newer hotel and has few channels. But I don't think anyone will come to Yufuin to watch TV. The hot springs are shared, and it was very nice to have a different a**osphere. The sulfur smell was not too strong and was subtle. The building is old, so you can hear people talking and walking upstairs. Also, since it is next to the railroad, it is noisy due to the sound of the railroad passing by. Because the hot springs are available at night, Suo is a bit noisy as there are public restrooms and hot springs next to it. You must take this into account

What a lovely place to have a retreat. It's away from the crowd but near the yufuin station....about 500 m. They don't have many rooms so it's quiet. Just outside the hotel is Lawson. Restaurants are also nearby. The hotel looks like a resort with beautiful landscaping. Staff is hospitable and although some don't speak very good English, they try their best. They allow us to keep our luggage at the lobby before check-in and after checkout. The hotel is simply generous with free drinks almost throughout the day and night, free usage of bicycles , beer and instant noodles are sold at a cheap price. It's a self contained hotel. Everything is there. The 4 private onsens are great. Rooms are clean but a bit cramped and it would be good if they have more hangers to hang clothes. A mirror on the wall would be better than a small table mirror. If you're not a cat lover, you might not be impressed when you see their cats walking on the food tables and sitting on the sofas. The small details like a note welcoming you and a photo of you at the end of the stay are why I would love to come back again.

We made a booking directly with the hotel (Google translate). Communication wasn’t very prompt and last email was never responded. But it was ok. Our request for ground floor room was granted. Room We booked a western twin room. It was small with no cupboard, only 2 hooks. Besides this, it was clean and came with attached toilet. Bed was comfortable as well. Facilities Nice public Onsen - large. A pity no view at all to speak off. I didn’t use their 5 private onsens since they were not attractive. Free beer, coffee & tea. Really pretty courtyard, especially in the evening with the kerosine lamps. In the daytime you can see there are room for improvement. Location Excellent, very close to Yufuin’s major attractions like the lake, shopping street and Floral Village. Yet it is located along a quaint canal with great view of the paddy fields and mountains. Not very convenient for walking from the station though due to the non-tar road in immediate vicinity. Taxi fare was reasonable - ¥710. Services Not the friendliest. Staff did bring us to our room, detouring to show us the onsens. However, quite grumpy. After check-in I asked for assistance to book a local restaurant. They won’t help. Food We changed our booking from half board to no meals after our requests for some food tweaks were refused. Conclusion I would return for their location, ambience, good value and the free beer/coffee 😁

This is not your typical ryokan. The rooms are big with a good sitting area.. The soaking tub and shower had so many mechanisms that it takes a while to figure out all the controls. Every room has a great view of Yufu mountain and the valley. Some of the rooms are free standing units. Service is great and the included dinner is outstanding. It is a typical Japanese kaiseki dinner with numerous courses. Breakfast is entirely Japanese style, and they serve rice, miso soup and fish. Put up with it if your taste is 100% western. You can have a nice cup of coffee or juice near the lobby when you finish your breakfast. Though they will not serve you coffee with the breakfast. Overall, you will be overjoyed with this place.

An inn like a pension rather than a hotel. There are only tourist spots, and the room rate is set high, but the bath was reserved and it was great to take it freely when there were no people. It is small, but clean and close to Lake Kinrin. The difficulty is that there are few places to eat at night. However, since there is a convenience store nearby, it is also an ant to take out and eat in the lobby.

We were warmly greeted by staff who helped us with our bags and checked us into the hotel room . We had booked into the twin room . Wow it was huge with a bedroom , dining room as well as a wash basin and toilet . Only letdown was that there was no shower nor bathtub . Another friend had booked the one with private indoor and outdoor onsens and they were beautiful . This hotel had two private onsens that one could use anytime . You hang a “in use” sign on the door each time you use and it was very beautiful . The public bath was also unique and picturesque . Kaiseiki dinner was delicious with wagyu beef . Breakfast was Japanese style and was also delicious . What made the stay special was the Nepalese staff Pathak with his good explanation and his ability to communicate English with us . That made a difference to the stay .
