Zhangjiajie Junlan Hotel (Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station) Reviews

I stayed for 2 nights. Arrived at the hotel at 2:30pm on the first day. I was asked where I wanted to go right away, and went to Tianmen Mountain on the first day and Avatar View on the second day. It was a short taxi ride to the Tianmen Mountain Ropeway entrance. I was able to walk back. I used a mobile translator, but it was very helpful that they wrote the numbers and the best route on the map in an easy-to-understand way. If I had downloaded WeChat, it would have been a little smoother. On the first day, I was late returning to the hotel after eating dinner on the way back from Tianmen Mountain, but they were waiting for me, and they wrote the route and directions to Zhangjiajie Forest Park the next day on the map. The bus stop to Zhangjiajie Forest Park was also a short walk away. They also accompanied me on the bus to the Zhangjiajie entrance. I registered Alipay with my credit card (Japanese), but there were some places where it was not available, and I could not use the bus, so it is safer to have the fare of 13 yuan each in cash for the outbound and return trips. The hotel manager who was with me paid for the outbound trip, and I paid with Alipay in the hotel lobby the next day when I checked out. I think it's possible to get there by yourself by searching online. However, there are also roads that split into two and small routes that are just mountain paths through the forest, so if you just go there randomly, you might miss the great views or go around unnecessary places, so the map and route were really helpful. The room was nice, but on this trip, I stayed in hotels in Furongzhen, Fenghuang Ancient Town, and Chongqing, but none of them had a mini fridge. In Japan, hotels usually have mini fridges, but I wonder if they don't in China? It was early September and still hot, so I thought it would be convenient if there was a mini fridge in the room. If I have the opportunity to go again, I will stay at this hotel.
