How do I evaluate this hotel? I compared many hotels online and finally chose this one because I saw that they offer free car wash. Before we arrived at the hotel, Xiaomai Butler called to ask what time we would arrive and whether we had any requirements for the room. I've stayed at this hotel twice, and both times, the experience has been great. For Zunyi, the location couldn't be much better, it's well centralised for the city.
The rooms look and feel clean. However, the bedding and one of the towels had some damage, not a big issue for me, as long as they are clean.
Both the bath and shower are a good size and the water pressure is great (on the higher end).
The bed is on the softer side, for my preference.
Water bottles are free, just ask reception for more.

It is very close to the entrance of the West Village, and you can go directly into the scenic area and walk down the stairs. There is a covered bridge at the corner, and the hotel is across the bridge. The disadvantage is that there are many steps, and it is not very friendly to carry luggage between buildings, or elderly people with inconvenient legs and feet, or hold children. When checking in, the housekeeper helped to send the luggage to the room. We didn't feel it when we went to play. When checking out, we walked around the maze-like hotel with the suitcase, trying to find the lobby close to the shuttle bus. It was so tiring. Then the two doors between our room and the next room can be opened, and the two rooms are connected, which should be rigid for family travel. It was not difficult to find the way up the mountain for the first time, but the route was steep. If you have not driven a winding mountain road, it would be a bit scary. It was drizzling when I came, and I felt a little cold, but when I arrived at the hotel, looking at the bamboo forest below and the sea of clouds in the distance, I felt that everything was worth it! Check-in was very smooth, the on-duty housekeepers were warm and thoughtful, especially the housekeepers Yang Yang and Qiu Hui's care for the children ❤️, which made people feel as warm as returning to their hometown for the holidays. There were no gowns in the room. The carpet wasn’t properly swept. But it was an ok stay. The service was ok. Had a disagreement with the reception guy as he wouldn’t allow my girl friend in the room, but allowed my guy friend in as he spoke to the manager and could speak Chinese ( both foreigners). I stay in my room most of the time, so I couldn’t really enjoy their amenities. That’s on me. The breakfast was ok. Mostly Chinese style. The location was great because it was close to a lot of stores and restaurants.
