Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate
Cherry blossom viewing in Japan is a popular spring activity. As a famous flower in Japan, cherry blossoms are regarded as a symbol of the Japanese spirit. The custom of cherry blossom viewing originated in the Nara period, and gradually became popular among the people after the Heian, Samurai, and Edo periods. Due to the temperature differences in the Japanese archipelago, cherry blossoms gradually bloom from south to north, and the viewing time ranges from March to May. When viewing cherry blossoms, people will picnic and gather under the cherry trees, enjoy food and music, and feel the beauty of spring. Every cherry blossom season is crowded with tourists. Night cherry blossom viewing and cherry blossom festivals are also important parts of cherry blossom viewing activities, bringing tourists a different romantic experience.

Then I agreed to accompany her to go !! There you are!! Those beautiful cherry trees line up and sooo beautiful near to mount Iwaki ( so called look a like Mount Fuji ) . And we waited two hours for the bus at Hirosaki bus stop No.6 and two hours each journey , to and fro enjoy the bus ride and feel those beautiful Sakura . Hirosaki Castle!!

Hirosaki castle!! Just the right to be in hirosaki for Sakura full blooming. Hirosaki festival plan to start on 22-30 April , but due to early bloom , they start early and I just arrived to hirosaki that day . I was amazed with how beautiful those beautiful cherry were . Many of cherry trees together in one place make it Soo beautiful!! And I thought , the whole world came down to hirosaki to enjoy hanami . And make it easy for those who want to go to that park, they arrange shuttle bus with 100¥ each form hirosaki station platform 1. And they arranged plenty of buses , so that don’t even need to wait . And hirosaki park was Soo huge until all the people doesn’t seem to be too crowded. And make sure you look out for heart ❤️ shape near the exit gate before you get off . And try to go behind the castle and enjoy the beauty of mount Iwaki ( asymmetrical shape a bit , but a little seem to be like Mount Fuji,so local people called Aomori Fuji . Make sure don’t miss hirosaki for your next Sakura season. See you all on the other side of the world 🌎!! #japan #naturelover #solotravel

Aomori: A Dreamy Date in Northern Japan

Aomori: A Dreamy Date in Northern Japan

Aomori: A Dreamy Date in Northern Japan At the northernmost tip of Honshu Island, Aomori is like a pearl in the wilderness, exuding a unique charm and inviting people to explore this land favored by nature. When the first warm breeze of spring blows, Aomori is awakened by the cherry blossoms. Hirosaki Park turns into a pink dreamland, with more than 4,800 cherry trees stretching their branches and blooming. When the wind blows, the petals fall like pink snowflakes, instantly covering the ground with a carpet of flowers. Under the trees, people either laugh and picnic or quietly enjoy the short but splendid spring scenery, intoxicated by the romantic cherry blossom snow. In summer, Aomori is a great place to escape the heat. Lake Towada is as clear as a mirror, with the blue water reflecting the lush mountains and white clouds. A boat ride on the lake, with a gentle breeze blowing, brings a refreshing coolness that makes you feel relaxed and happy. The Oirase Stream, which is connected to the lake, flows gently, with green moss and lush vegetation along the stream. Walking along the stream, the fresh air is filled with the fragrance of plants, and the only sounds are the chirping of birds and the gurgling of water, as if you have entered a paradise. Autumn in Aomori is like a colorful oil painting. The maple leaves turn red, and the ginkgo trees are covered in bright yellow, creating a colorful scene in the mountains. Walking along the Oirase Stream trail, the fallen leaves rustle underfoot, and the sound of the stream creates a symphony of autumn. The distant mountains are dyed with autumn colors, like a poem or a painting, making you feel intoxicated. In winter, Mount Hakkoda is covered in snow, becoming a paradise for snow lovers. The white powder snow covers the mountains, and you can ski down from the top, with the wind whistling in your ears, enjoying the speed and passion. When night falls, soak in the warm hot springs, watching the snowflakes fall, feeling warm all over, and the fatigue disappears instantly. Aomori not only has beautiful scenery in all seasons but also has a unique cultural atmosphere. The Nebuta Festival in August is the most important festival in the area. Giant colorful dolls parade through the streets, creating a lively atmosphere. People wear traditional costumes, carry floats, and dance to the beat of the drums and the enthusiastic shouts, showcasing the unique cultural charm of Aomori and bringing the festival atmosphere to a climax. Whether you love natural scenery or are interested in exploring history and culture, Aomori can meet your expectations. Come to Aomori for a romantic date with the four seasons, and leave unforgettable travel memories on this charming land.

Immense Cherry Blossom World

#cherryblossom2024 Such a different cherry blossom Since the end of April and the beginning of May, Hirosaki City Park in Aomori Prefecture has become one of the best places in Japan where sakura blooms. Large picturesque trees provide the park with a place in the list of the most popular places for hanami — the traditional admiring of spring flowers. Recommended Go through the sakura Tunnel near the Western Moat Admire Hirosaki Castle surrounded by flowering trees How to get there The park is located in the center of Hirosaki city. At Hirosaki Train Station, take the bus to Shiyakusho-mae Stop (15 minutes) or take a walk to the park (about half an hour). Pink splendor In spring, Hirosaki Park becomes a huge pink sea: more than 2,600 sakura trees bloom here, some older than 300 years. There are more than fifty varieties of cherries, including the most famous variety somei Yoshino, "weeping" sidare-dzakura and "double" yae-dzakura. The Apple Secret The local gardeners borrowed the technique of pruning branches from apple farmers from Aomori. That's why sakura produces almost twice as many flower buds in Hirosaki Park as in the wild. Under the weight of cherry blossoms The appeal of the night In the evenings, the illumination turns on, and the beauty of Hirosaki Castle becomes even more expressive. Go for a late walk to take a look at the cherry blossoms from a different angle.

Japan's Number One Cherry Blossoms. Let's go to Hirosaki!

The cherry blossoms in Hirosaki Park, located in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, are famous nationwide. There are plenty of food stalls within Hirosaki Park (offering snacks like dango and ice cream, etc.). The cherry blossoms at night were so beautiful that they moved me. I also went to see the popular heart-shaped cherry blossom spot! I was wondering where it could be, but it was easy to find since everyone was gathered around it (laughs). I love not only the full bloom but also the falling petals of the cherry blossoms. I definitely recommend seeing the pink carpet and the flower rafts!
