🛕Che Kung Temple, also known as the Temple of the Windmill🛕 Che Kung Temple is a sacred place that has been revered by Hong Kong and Chinese people for a long time. It was built to commemorate General Che Kung, a brave warrior who protected the last emperor of the Song Dynasty. This temple is also popular among Thai visitors who come to worship and pray for blessings. Whether they join a temple tour or visit on their own, they often come to pray or perform rituals to counteract bad luck. There are specific techniques to ensure the success of these prayers, including spinning the windmill in the correct direction. Spinning it the wrong way could drastically change one's life. Popular souvenirs include lucky charms such as gold plates and windmills, though other types of charms are also available. Souvenir shops are located in front of the temple gate, offering similar prices. Each dish is thoughtfully designed and every course is served with new utensils 🍴, even the steak knives can be chosen by the diners themselves. The whole dining experience is filled with a sense of ceremony and the dishes are exquisitely delicate. The elegant decor of the restaurant complements the experience, making the entire meal process enjoyable. Highly recommended 👍🏼. -𝐅𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐮- $1,180/person The appetizer is quite rich. First, champagne is served as a welcome drink. Then, the waiter presents three kinds of black vinegar, which are 12 years, 25 years, and 50 years old, respectively. Each kind is served with cheese, and the taste is sweet and sour. The pre-dinner bread is crispy and fragrant, and the olive oil is perfect 👍. Finally, a cup of sea urchin black truffle caviar stewed egg is served. It is soft, smooth, and full of freshness. -𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫- დ 1 kg French Clam Saute Pot The clams are all plump and juicy, and there is no sand at all. The chef stir-fries them with white wine, garlic, and olive oil. The clams are covered in sauce, which is very delicious. The crispy bread is a perfect match. It has a unique flavor. დ Spanish Blue Fin Tuna Tartare The presentation of the Tuna Tartare is beautiful. The tuna is delicate and fresh, with a fragrant fish flavor. A little lemon juice makes it even fresher. We chose medium doneness, and it was served on a hot iron plate, with four special sauces! The beef is thick, tender, and has a rich beef flavor. It is of high quality. -𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞- დ Fennel Gratin with Cheese This side dish is made by baking fennel with cheese. It has a golden appearance and looks very appetizing! A Low-Key Yet High-Quality Fish Fillet Burger

After work, I went to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The restaurant is located in my favorite mall, North Point Harbour North, where you can enjoy views of the North Point waterfront and the Eastern Corridor. The atmosphere is great, and the menu offers a wide variety of options including burgers, pasta, hand rolls, salads, 🍕pizza, various grilled meats, and desserts. First, I ordered a 🥗salad. They have seven different types of salads, and I couldn't decide which one to choose. Finally, I asked the staff for a recommendation. They suggested the CHICKEN AVOCADO SALAD 🐥, which is a favorite among the staff. It did not disappoint. The salad was served in a large bowl, the greens were fresh and crisp, and the avocado was crunchy. Whether you like it or not is subjective, but the chicken was moist and tender, which was nice. For the main course, we ordered a 🐟FISH FILLET BURGER, 🐷PORK LOIN, and 🍝LINGUINE VONGOLE with spicy garlic and white wine clam sauce to share among friends. The most impressive dish was the fish fillet burger. The bun was lightly toasted with a hint of butter flavor, and surprisingly, the burger had two pieces of fish fillet (something they didn't mention on the menu). It was a pleasant surprise, and the fish was juicy with a crispy exterior and tender interior. The pork loin was lean with a rich meat flavor, and the best part was the hot and crispy potato wedges that came with it. The linguine was cooked to the right texture, and the clams were generously portioned and free of sand, making them plump and satisfying. #hongkongguide This coffee shop in Shatin's City One neighborhood was a surprise find when we stayed at ALVA hotel nearby for a pandemic staycation. We have since come back to both places repeatedly, because it's a great way to rewind in a no frills everyday place outside of the busy city centre. Reactors Coffee has amazing scones and a very good value for money breakfast with perfect scrambled eggs. Bonus: there's an MTR faresaver machine right next to it:

For a limited time only, IKEA offers mixed grilled imitated hot plate as Chinese food at a low price and plenty full dish. The huge jumbo sausage, ham, grilled chicken with veggies accompanied by lots of fries. IKEA regularly serves quality Swedish meat balls and other western food.
