madmex

#celebratewithtrip had the chance to try mad mex when I was in Melbourne Victoria. mad mex sells Mexican food of course at quite affordable prices. it is like a fast food restaurant. so there’s burritos , tacos , quesadillas and some sides available in stores. it works quite simply where you choose the main that you want. as well as the ingredients and fillings you would like to include in your main. I opted for the burrito and it was actually quite worth because when you add up all the sides , the burrito can actually be quite huge and filling after that. it was sufficient for 2 pax actually if you’re not a big eater. taste wise was ok as well.

higher ground cafe

#celebratewithtrip visited higher ground cafe in Melbourne and it’s one of the best experiences I had so far. the food was great, I love the scrambled eggs so much. it was delicious and seasoned so well. the hot chocolate also tasted really good especially on a cold rainy day. perfect brunch for me and my family members in fact! the cafe was also aesthetically pleasing as its very nice and gives off this cool vibes. many people were actually here but there were still seats available and turnover was quite quick. prices may be on a slightly higher end but still worth the experience as I always hear that this is one of the best cafes in Melbourne.

lune croissant

#celebratewithtrip during my time in Melbourne I went to try lune croissant. it is a highly raved cafe as I heard many good reviews for this place. sure enough the queue was really long when I turned up and had to wait about thirty minutes in line before my turn. I ordered the hot chocolate which helped me feel warmer after waiting in the cold. it was good and not too sweet. also ordered the pain Au chocolate croissant and it was delicious. quite liked it as it’s filled with chocolate. and lastly ordered the birthday croissant which is a special product only available in October as it’s their birthday. filled with birthday sprinkles it’s cute and nice.

🚂🚂🚂🚂 World’s Oldest surviving Steam Loco

#celebratewithtrip It was very good experience to ride on World’s oldest surviving Steam Locomotive - Puffing Billy in Melbourne, Australia! We booked our tickets online and easy to redeem at their counter. The journey we had was Belgrave to Lakeside. It is advisable to reach there 60 minutes before departure, so you will have plenty of time to look for parking and to queue for redemption physical tickets. Alternatively, it is accessible via train from Southern Cross Station, Melbourne, instead of driving. Sit back and enjoy the authentic heritage steam train experience. It take about an hour to reach Lakeside Station, stop few stations along the way. You could see fairytale scene, those we thought that we only could see in movies. Once you reached Lakeside Station, there is a restaurant for you to have lunch. After lunch, you can take a walk at Emerald Lake Park, it was a good weather during Spring, so windy and sunny! Some tips when you book your tickets online with different booking, you can actually put a remark to request to sit with your companion in the same carriage otherwise they maybe arrange in different carriages. #tripblazers #spooktaculartrip #fallingforfall #awesomepic #puffingbilly #belgrave #melbourne #train #lakeside

8bit Melbourne

8bit Melbourne is famous for its burgers and hotdogs. Heard so much about it, I had to try it. I went for the Fatal Fury Hotdog which I dare say is the most interesting (and delicious) hotdog I’ve had in my life. The rather harmless looking jalapeños-packed hotdog was hidden under a generous portion of chilli beef and this bomb of a combo was paired with cheese sauce on a fluffy bun. Man, it had me at first bite. Definitely explains the queue. The burgers seemed like a more popular choice though. Since most of the cafes close before dinner time, you could choose to grab dinner – or even supper – here. 😋 #summervacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

queen Victoria

#celebratewithtrip queen Victoria is a shopping mall located in Melbourne. there’s so many stores available here such as Adlv, and also many clothing stores as well as sushi roll stores where you can buy cheap Australian rolls for supper if you would like. what I like about this mall is there’s a large patch of grass open area here for you to just sit and chill and you can even eat here by buying takeaways from the stores in the mall. very nice atmosphere and feeling to be here. also they have a big w here and you can buy lots of things like soft toys or clothes and also a woolsworth for groceries. very nice shopping mall highly recommended.

fed square Melbourne

#celebratewithtrip visited the fed square in Melbourne during my vacation here and I kinda like the outlook of this place. it feels really chill as there’s stairs like an Amphitheatre feels for people to just sit here and chill in the evening while waiting for the skies to turn dark and there will be some lights on some of the buildings making it quite pretty. it is just opposite flinders train station so it’s really accessible. at the fed square there are also some stores such as restaurants for dining and bars , and also shops to purchase some goods or souvenirs. overall recommended to just drop by and relax awhile here.

higher ground cafe exterior

#celebratewithtrip the exterior building of higher ground cafe is really pretty. and so is the ambience of the cafe. I visited the cafe on a weekday yet it was so crowded. there were plenty of people just chilling while some were working or having discussions. the food here is also great! In terms of atmosphere and ambience , it is not very noisy even though there’s a lot of people. there are plenty of seats available also. I did not make a reservation yet managed to get seated within 10 minutes. staff are also very helpful and friendly. payment is made only before you leave the cafe. would recommend visiting this cool cafe!

Melbourne sky bus

Melbourne sky bus

so one way to get from Melbourne airport to the city center would be to just grab a cab and enjoy the journey in the car. however , a cheaper and more affordable option would be to take the sky bus at Melbourne airport. it is easily located when you exit the airport and they stop at 3 out of 4 terminals in the airport. so it’s easy to just go to one of them to board the sky bus. the frequency is not too bad and it’s cheaper to actually purchase a to and fro journey compared to single journey. so when you are leaving Melbourne you can just take the same receipt and show it to the bus attendant. the journey is fast. about 30 mins to southern cross station and then there you are at Melbourne central. fuss free way to travel to the town.

Agathe Patisserie

#celebratewithtrip another must try in south Melbourne market would be Agathe patisserie. they serve really good bread and toast and it’s of course a perfect option or choice for breakfast when you visit the south Melbourne market in the morning! do note that there may be queues but don’t worry because it’s really quick and fast and you’ll get your bread in no time. my favorite is the pandan croissant. it’s unique and you can taste the pandan so well and it’s quite a nice flavor. almond scroll is popular too unfortunately I didn’t try it. the custard heart also looks really good. overall would recommend trying.
