Antalya| A city that pleases the body and mind

Antalya| A city that pleases the body and mind

Antalya is the largest city on the southern coast of Turkey. It is recorded that the early Hittites settled here in 2000 BC. After the Trojan War, in the 7th century BC, Greeks from the Aegean and Asia Minor conquered the region. A century later, the city was built. Subsequently, the Persians and Alexander the Great successively became the masters of the city. From the 2nd to 3rd century BC, it ushered in its most glorious period. Until the 15th century, the Ottomans finally controlled the region. Antalya is surrounded by mountains. Rows of palm trees form boulevards, with very beautiful docks. In the city, you can see ancient relics left by different civilizations everywhere. It gives visitors a sense of physical and mental pleasure and is a good place for leisure and vacation.

🇹🇷🌸Antalya’s Crystal Blue Sea! 🌊💙

#2024wish In 2023, I got to experience the STUNNING turquoise waters of Antalya, Türkiye! 🇹🇷🏖️ Many of Antalya’s “beaches” are actually little cliff side hideaways, where locals perch on flat rocks and chat, and take turns diving into the perfectly clear waters. 🌊🏊♀️ While these beaches are not as comfortable as the pebble beaches, they offer a different, more local experience, as well as a better view of the breathtaking colors!💙🏝️ I hope in 2024 that I can see the beautiful waters of Antalya again! ♥️🇹🇷 #beachlife #travelinspiration #localguides #turkey

The biggest Migros!

MMMMM or 5M Migros in Antalya is by far the biggest Migros chain I’ve seen in whole Turkey. Usually Migros in only a supermarket that sells basic home stuff and food. However the one in Antalya has a lot of international and local shops inside the mall. The mall is at the highway and could easily be spotted because of its beautiful facade :) #shopping #mall #migros #shopping #antalya #unforgettableexperiences

Tazi Canyon

Visiting Tazi Canyon in Turkey was an unforgettable adventure. This stunning canyon is located in the Antalya region and is famous for its breathtaking natural beauty. I began my journey on a trail dotted with magnificent views of mountains and valleys. Upon reaching the summit, I was deeply impressed by the panoramic view of the green valley and the clear river. We sat enjoying the fresh breeze and the quiet sounds of nature. The opportunity to take photos was excellent as the natural colors overlapped between green, blue, and brown. This experience was a perfect combination of adventure and relaxation, leaving unforgettable memories.

Antalya, a Roman seaport facing the sea

Antalya, a Roman seaport facing the sea

The Mediterranean climate is neither cold nor hot, and May is also very comfortable. It seems that there is no piercing winter, and the distant snow-capped mountains have also melted, but it is still one of the most beautiful seaside cities in Turkey, very suitable for a short stay🌴. The Roman seaport is a free attraction in Antalya that you can't miss. Here, facing the sea with the spring in full bloom, you can enjoy the view of the harbor sails, or you can take a boat out to sea for fun. When you have nothing to do, you can have a coffee at the open-air cafes at the port. About transportation 1️⃣ Take the D400 highway from Fethiye, you can choose to drive yourself. 2️⃣ From Cappadocia or Istanbul, take a plane✈️ to Antalya Airport 3️⃣ The old town area is mainly pedestrian, and self-driving cars can be parked at the parking lot near the entrance of the old town 4️⃣ For day trips around, you can choose to hire a car or use public transportation

Life is worth it! Turkey's most beautiful coastal road

Life is worth it! Turkey's most beautiful coastal road

From Antalya to Izmir, the hundreds of kilometers long highway has the best looking coastline of Turkey🌊 The D400 highway is definitely worth driving on your own, the scenery along the way is really beautiful, and there is no need for admission tickets, you can go down to see the sea anywhere, and there is an incredibly beautiful beach, just like a wallpaper. Even after the prices have doubled, the cost-performance ratio of sea view rooms is still very high, with an average of around 200 per person, you can stay in a very nice sea view room. Recommended self-driving route is Izmir-Antalya, which can be driven in 2 days, with a stopover in Kaş for one night.

Sandland Antalya 🗺️

#2024wish Had an artsy day at Sandland Antalya! 🏖️✨ The 40 TL entrance fee was a creative bargain for the mesmerizing sand sculptures that brought the beach to life. #SandlandAntalyaMagic #SculptureWonder The intricacy of the sculptures, crafted entirely from sand, was mind-blowing. From iconic landmarks to mythical creatures, each piece showcased the artists' talent and attention to detail. It felt like wandering through a sandy wonderland. 🏰🎨 The themed sections, like the International Area featuring sculptures from around the world, and the Mythology Garden, added a cultural and fantastical touch to the experience. It was not just an exhibition but a journey through diverse narratives. 🌍🏛️ The live sand sculpting demonstrations were a fascinating bonus. Watching artists mold ordinary sand into extraordinary forms right before my eyes added a dynamic and interactive element to the visit. 🎨🤲 The nearby Konyaalti Beach provided a perfect post-Sandland retreat. The sandy shores and clear waters allowed me to transition from the sandy artistry to a more natural beach setting. It was an ideal way to extend the seaside vibes. 🏖️🌊 Exploring Antalya's old town, Kaleici, with its cobbled streets, historic architecture, and vibrant cafes, was a charming contrast to the sandy escapade. It's a great spot to absorb local culture and indulge in Turkish delights. 🏰🍡 Sandland Antalya isn't just an art exhibition; it's a celebration of creativity and imagination carved in sand. The blend of sculptural marvels, live demonstrations, and nearby attractions makes it a delightful destination for art enthusiasts and anyone seeking a unique beachside experience. #SandArtFantasy #AntalyaCreativeEscape

Just In City Hotel in Antalya, a popular accommodation among Koreans.

🏨Just In City Hotel Antalya Just In City Hotel is said to be the most popular accommodation among Koreans in Antalya! Although the room didn't have a window, it was clean and nice! Check-in was quick, the bathroom was clean, and most importantly, the bread served at breakfast was delicious!

Waterfall that you don’t need to hike to see

Lazy celebrations also have a right to exist. That is why we just decided to go for a walk exploring Antalya. How surprised we were when we found out the road was so beautiful and enjoyable! And Antalya is a place where you can admire the waterfall beauty without climbing anywhere or hiking up and down! The surrounding area is parks, cafes and just nature! #celebrateit

Perge Ruins - Antalya

It is one of the most interesting ancient site of ruins I’ve visited in Antalya province! Perge Ruins have a 2000-year-old history and it is one of the biggest ancient settlements that have survived as a whole. Perge is famous for its Roman ruins and its big amphitheater with a capacity of 15,000 people. The place is huge. Including the ancient theatre, it took us around 4,5 hours to explore the area. We saw some people rushing through, and I guess it is possible to see everything in 2 hours if you just want to take some quick pictures. But I recommend to spend there at least 3-4 hours to see all the details of this wonderful place! Perge Ruins are located 19 km east of Antalya. #historicplaces
