A hidden gem for couples|So comfortable!

A hidden gem for couples|So comfortable!

This hotel is in a great location, right next to the famous Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square. Many famous attractions are just a few minutes' walk away, making it perfect for tourists exploring the city. When I arrived at the hotel, I was drawn in by the modern design and warm atmosphere of the lobby. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional, quickly checking me in and giving me a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities and services. I booked a deluxe room, which was spacious, bright, and elegantly decorated. The comfortable bed, soft pillows, and high-quality bedding made me feel right at home. The room also had a desk, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi to meet all the needs of guests. The floor-to-ceiling windows let natural light flood the room, and the view of downtown Seattle was beautiful. The bathroom was also impressive, spacious and clean, with high-quality toiletries and bathrobes. The shower had just the right water pressure, so I could completely relax after a long day. The room also had free bottled water and a coffee machine, which showed the hotel's attention to detail. The hotel's fitness center was well-equipped, perfect for guests who like to work out. Every morning, the hotel also offers free yoga classes, which are very popular. In addition, the hotel has an indoor pool with clear water and a comfortable environment, which is a great place to relax. In terms of dining, the hotel's restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes, with a wide range of options from breakfast to dinner. Whether it's local seafood or international cuisine, you can find it here. Every morning, the hotel also offers a free buffet breakfast, including fresh fruit, hot dishes, cold cuts, and a variety of drinks to start the day off right. What surprised me the most was that the hotel allows pets, and all children under 18 stay for free when using existing beds. This policy is very friendly for families like ours. Overall, the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle provided an extremely pleasant stay. Its great location, exquisite design, attentive service, and rich facilities made me very satisfied.

Seattle Attractions│Suzzallo Library - The Hogwarts Reading Room from Harry Potter.

The University of Washington campus in Seattle has 15 libraries, with the most famous being the Suzzallo Library, known for its resemblance to the Hogwarts Reading Room from Harry Potter. Opened in 1926, the Suzzallo Library remains a central research hub, offering various study spaces for students and is open to visitors year-round. On the day of the visit, we drove in from the Bronze W (North) entrance. Seeing the large 'W' at the entrance signifies that you are about to enter the University of Washington campus! After driving in, there is a large parking lot on the right, located next to the Burke Memorial-Washington State Museum (BRK) (parking fees apply). After parking, it takes about 30 minutes to walk along the main road to reach the library. Besides the Suzzallo Library, the campus also has many other historic buildings and libraries worth exploring. It is recommended to take the route from PACCAR Hall (PCAR) and enjoy the beautiful buildings and scenery along the way. The well-preserved architecture will make you slow down and appreciate the effort in maintaining these structures. Upon reaching Kane Hall (KNE), you will see a large plaza, and next to it is the famous Suzzallo Library. The grand Gothic architecture is stunning, and looking up from the entrance, you will see 18 columns, each with a statue of a famous figure such as Shakespeare, Da Vinci, and Plato. Inside the entrance, there are corridors leading to the second floor, where the main attraction is located. The afternoon sunlight streaming through the stairwell creates a beautiful scene, attracting many to stop and take photos. On the second floor, turning left reveals a breathtaking view: colorful stained glass windows, symmetrical arched stone beams, grand chandeliers, and sturdy wooden tables and chairs. While photography is allowed, remember that this is a library for students, so maintain silence and do not linger too long. In addition to the library, the University Book Store on campus is also worth a visit. It sells not only textbooks but also various school merchandise. Although the prices can be high, it is a great place to find unique items. The University of Washington's mascot is the Husky, which is incredibly cute. Finally, I have included a map of the day's route around the campus (red arrows indicate the route, and numbers indicate points of interest) and some useful links. If you have time after returning to the parking lot, consider visiting the Washington State Museum (BRK) (tickets required). There are also free restrooms available in the basement. 🏚️Attractions: Suzzallo and Allen Libraries, University of Washington, Seattle ⏰Hours: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM (01:00 PM - 08:00 PM on Saturdays, Closed on Sundays) 📍Address: 4000 15th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98195, USA

A stunning Japanese Garden in Seattle!

#getgoing2025 #seattle #japanesegarden Coming to Seattle Japanese Garden is like stepping into a serene and peaceful sanctuary. It is lovely to walk around here. There is also a koi fish pond here. You can also attend a tea ceremony here. I highly recommend coming to this garden as it really represents a sense of cultural reverence and artistry. The garden is well very maintained and all the trees are well pruned. I do recommend visiting during the Fall season to witness amazing colorful foliage. It was nice to see Bonsai trees here too. Must visit here.

"Nordic Museum: A Nordic Gem in Seattle"

"Nordic Museum: A Nordic Gem in Seattle"

"Nordic Museum: A Nordic Gem in Seattle" Seattle is a charming city, and the Nordic Museum is like a hidden gem, exuding a unique Nordic charm that attracts every traveler who comes to explore. As you approach the Nordic Museum, the simple yet elegant architecture comes into view, as if it were a mark left by the Nordic continent across the ocean. Entering the museum is like opening a door to the long history of the Nordic countries. The years from 1700 onwards are carefully collected and displayed here, and each exhibit and story tells of the struggles and heritage of Nordic immigrants on the land of Seattle. Folk culture comes alive here, with ancient household items, traditional costumes, handicrafts, and more. They are not just objects, but rather messengers of time, taking you to experience the wisdom of life and unique cultural charm of the Nordic ancestors. The scenery outside the museum is equally enchanting. Thomas Dambo's giant handmade troll sculptures stand like mysterious giants guarding the museum. They are a miracle of art and environmental protection, made from recycled materials, each with its own personality and story. Especially Frankie Feetsplinter in front of the Nordic Museum, standing quietly like a messenger from an ancient forest, bringing the breath of nature. Its huge figure contrasts sharply with the surrounding urban environment, yet coexists harmoniously, adding a mysterious and magical color to the area. Walking around the museum feels like being in a wonderful world where the Nordic and Seattle intertwine. The fresh air, unique scenery, and cultural treasures inside and outside the museum make every step full of surprises. Whether immersed in the ocean of history or appreciating the sculptures that intertwine modern art and environmental protection, you can feel the unique charm of the Nordic Museum in Seattle. It is not just a tourist attraction, but a place where the soul is nourished and culture is inherited, worth spending a whole day savoring.

Roadtripping From Sanfranisco - Seattle

One of my most unforgettable trip is doing a solo road trip from San Francisco up towards Seattle. It is one of the longest drive I ever did, with a total of almost 13hours that is if u drive straight. Well it took me 2 days, a 8 hour drive on the first day and another 6 hours the next. Solo driving on a trip like this can be really tiring but it can be enjoyable too if you plan it right! From San Francisco I did a stop over in a small town called crescent city which I had a short night stay overlooking the sea to relax myself for the next day. And the scenery can also be quite beautiful if you take the time to stop and look around. And if you like the cold weather plan your trip closer to winter but not in Feb - March as it can be really snowy and icy which some roads might possibly be block too! This is one fun and adventurous solo road trip I've ever done! #solotravel #roadrtrip #driving #seattle #sanfrancisco #holiday #america #naturalwonders #YOLO #passionpassport

A must-stay hotel in Seattle for a unique experience!

A must-stay hotel in Seattle for a unique experience!

For this trip to Seattle, I chose to stay at Denny Park Hotel Seattle in the city center. The hotel is located in the Belltown neighborhood, just steps away from many famous attractions, such as the striking Art/Not Terminal Gallery and The Spheres, as well as the picturesque Denny Park. The hotel's location is extremely convenient for sightseeing and shopping, especially for photography and modern art lovers! The multilingual service and free Wi-Fi are also very convenient, especially for international travelers. The room is clean, and the city view from the window is worth seeing. Overall, the location and some services of Denny Park Hotel Seattle are its highlights, but if the shower facilities are improved and some minor service processes are adjusted, I believe the overall experience of the guests can be further enhanced.

Executive Hotel Pacific Seattle | Unique Experience with Minor Flaws

Executive Hotel Pacific Seattle | Unique Experience with Minor Flaws

| Unique Experience with Minor Flaws. 📍Hotel Location: Located at 400 Spring St, Seattle, the hotel is in a great location! It's only 670 m from Seattle Light Rail - Pioneer Square Station, a 9-minute walk. It's convenient to get to Boeing Field International Airport (9.4 km, about 10 minutes by car) and Tacoma International Airport (21.9 km, about 16 minutes by car). The surrounding attractions such as the Space Needle and Seattle Art Museum are also within easy reach. 🏨Hotel Facilities and Services: - Room Facilities: The rooms are decorated in red tones, which is unique. Free Wi-Fi is available, and there is a flat-screen cable TV with 24-hour Japanese channels. - Dining: There is a VOVITO Espresso Gelato Bar and The Lodge Sports Grille restaurant to satisfy your taste buds. - Other Services: Luggage storage is available. Parking is USD 29 per night with free entry and exit. 👍Pros: The biggest highlight of the hotel is its excellent location, in the core area of the city center, making it very convenient to travel and play. The hotel opened in 1928, with a strong historical charm. The architecture and decoration have a unique style, allowing people to feel the past years of Seattle. 👎Cons: It has to be said that the soundproofing is indeed unsatisfactory. At night, you can often hear the sound of fire trucks and police cars passing by, which is easy to disturb. Some room facilities are also slightly outdated, such as some furniture corners have been worn, and bathroom facilities also show signs of aging. 💁‍♂️Personal Experience: Overall, my stay at the Executive Hotel Pacific was good. The location advantage made my trip to Seattle much easier, and the surrounding food and attractions were quickly accessible. The hotel's specialty bar and restaurant also left a deep impression on me. However, the soundproofing and outdated facilities did cause me some trouble. If you have high requirements for location and don't care much about soundproofing and facility details, this hotel is still worth recommending. But if you are a guest with extremely high requirements for the sleeping environment, you may need to consider it carefully.
