Getting There - From Kuala Lumpur about 3 hours 30mins drive. Waze will take you precisely to the location. Attractions - Villa by the beach (walking distance) Hotels - 10/10. We booked the dreamy couples retreat package which includes candle light dinner by the beach (9/10). 1x seafood steamboat dinner (5/10). Also, one pre dinner cocktail with canapes. In the package also includes 60 mins massage for 2 it was superb! (10/10) we felt rejuvenated! Food & Restaurants - Overall 8/10 Location - 10/10 Very private. Peaceful surroundings. Located 5 minutes from main road of Cherating, once you reach the security guard house, you need to park the car at dedicated parking spaces and a resort buggy will come and pick you and bring you to the lobby. Once get the room number, the resort staff will bring you to your room. Once we enter the room, we are so mesmerised with the beautiful paintings like of the ocean and forest view. I would rate this place 10/10. Nothing can beat this beautiful view, the serenity around it, the big room, the coffee machine, the staff services and breakfast buffet. I love everything about it. Resort : Royal Chulan Cherating Villa Room Type : Ocean Suite with Balcony Note: this resort is not wheelchair and stroller friendly as there are a lot of stairs.

#myperfectstaycation Address: Royale Chulan Cherating Villas, 26100 Balok, Pahang. Highlights: The Royale Chulan Cherating villas is located just by the beach. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and excellent service provided by the staff. The guarded areas and secure car park provided peace of mind during my stay. The villa itself was clean and well-appointed, providing all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. I also enjoyed the mini snack bar for the local street food. It’s cute! Though the prices were slightly higher, the quality and taste of the food made it worth the extra cost. Overall, it truly exceeded my expectations and made for a wonderful staycation. If you search Tom Yam restaurant in Kuantan, you will find this on top of your list! Sara Thai Kitchen provides variety of Thai cuisine. My family and I managed to try their- 1. Seafood Tom Yam 2. Squid salted egg 3. Omelette 4. Kangkung Belacan 5. Spicy beef stir fry 6. Chicken stir fry 7. Thai tea 8. Coffee 9. Carrot juice 10. Perfect private pool!

The resort is really wonderful with modern design and amazing private pool. The wooden material gives us a very nice impression. Its a great escape from the city hustle. Welcome drinks (signature limau kasturi) were served while we’re waiting for our room to be ready. The amenities in room also perfect with spacious toilet and big bath tub. We managed to join the kayaking that provided by The Kasturi. The staff were amazing and helpful. They guided us the way to the Kayaking area (outside Kasturi) with a buggy. So we don’t need to take a walk. To be honest, we have fun here and absolutely will come again!
