Introduction Vietnamese Cuisine Cooking Experiences in Hanoi

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Hanoi invites you to step into a cooking class surrounded by fireworks, explore the essence of Vietnamese cuisine in the ancient streets and alleys, and start a wonderful journey on the tip of your tongue.

Authentic course content: Usually the course will last 3-5 hours. It starts with buying fresh ingredients from the local market. Each ingredient will be explained, including the background of the ingredients including culture, customs and practices. The content focuses on traditional delicacies such as Hanoi beef noodles, fresh and fragrant spring rolls, Vietnamese meatballs, egg coffee, etc. You can learn the secrets of making rice noodle soup, the thin and light spring roll wrappers, and the unique pre-processing of other ingredients, and experience the unique flavor of Vietnamese cooking. After one class, students can make 4-6 authentic Hanoi delicacies by themselves, and sit down to enjoy the fruits of their labor after cooking.

Small class teaching, experienced teachers: The class adopts a small class teaching system, which allows the teacher to take care of all students, and students can share their experiences and exchange food culture from all over the world. The atmosphere is warm and harmonious. The chefs who teach are all locals, rooted in the Hanoi catering industry, and are well versed in local food. We will adopt a teaching method of "theory first, practice later" and provide patient guidance throughout the process to ensure that every student understands and masters the cooking steps and can perform the operations independently to improve their cooking skills.

The facilities are practical: The cooking area is bright and ventilated. The kitchen utensils are not gorgeous but complete. The traditional earth stove is matched with a modern stove to meet various cooking needs. The ingredients are all collected from local markets, fresh and juicy, such as perilla, mint leaves, lemon leaves, etc., to restore the most authentic Hanoi flavor.

Take a cooking class in Hanoi. Whether you are a tourist interested in Vietnamese cuisine or a student who wants to improve his cooking skills, you can find your own cooking fun here and leave your own gourmet memory.

Special

This is a very unique sort of a place with the vintage ambience. There is something artistic about it as well as old and photogenic. It was a really nice place, that is sort of hidden from the road so you can't hear the bike or car sounds which was great. The place was cozy and there are some muaic instruments. The music was great too. We went in the afternoon for a while and then went back again in the evening because we liked it so much. It was lot better than places with tourists and noise. We tried their cold brew coffee and passion fruit juice. Both were very nice. #vietnamtrip #hanoi #hiddencafes

A Beautiful Cafe in Hanoi🇻🇳

🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings🇻🇳 Not only was the Hidden Gem Cafe space beautiful, the coffee was also delicious, sipping our drinks as we looked out to the chaos outside while feeling the tranquility inside. We ordered ourselves their signature Coconut Coffee—this was delicious!!! When walking around this cafe, you will notice a lot of environmental messages like Save Water, Save Trees and also many of their furnishings are made of recycled objects such as the seats, lights and the tables have parts of motorcycles as body and legs, really interesting and a great concept! Hidden Gem Cafe is a lovely coffeehouse that truly lives up to its name. It would be kind of hard to spot the entrance to the cafe if you are not really looking for it. Many coffeehouses in Hanoi are hidden in plain sight jus like this…but their coffees are truly amazing! #freehotelstay #foodie #本地遊 #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #tripblazers #awesomepic #cafe #summervacation #travel

🇻🇳🍜Delicious Food in Hanoi🍜🇻🇳

🇻🇳Our Hanoi Happenings🇻🇳 Tucked away in an alley is this amazing hole in a wall noodle restaurant-‘Pho Suong’ Suong in Vietnamese means ‘satisfy’, according to the owner, the restaurant was named this to trigger customers' curiosity. It also refers to the way they want their customers to feel after eating their best pho in Hanoi. And they were right about that, this was on my eat-list in Hanoi, the light and sweet broth is the highlight of their famous dish ‘Pho Bo’ which is made from stewing beef bones and meat for hours. The beef is also on point, steak well done and is not dry also manages to retain a certain level of moisture. Each piece of beef is carefully thin-sliced, tender, and meaty. We were smitten with our Beef Pho, adding the garlic, lime and chili peppers found on the table took the dish to a whole new level. We sweat like crazy eating this dish up but it was totally worth it😋 P.S. Went for a walk after that and had some really delicious Vietnamese Fried Spring Rolls from one of the restaurants on Beer Street😋This was another tasty dish especially when dipped in that sweet and sour vinegar sauce. 📍Pho Suong Old Quarter,Hanoi #timetotravel #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #hanoi #foodies #food #vietnam

A unique spring experience in Vietnam!

#springwander #vietnam Quang Phu Cau Incense Village in Hanoi is such a unique place to visit during spring break. It is really one of the most captivating places I have visited in Vietnam. It looked straight out of a painting. I got lots of pictures here which would make great memories for this spring. You can easily cover this place in half a day’s time. You can also learnt the art of making incense sticks here in different colors. That definitely makes a fun activity. I can’t recommend visiting the Incense village enough this spring. You just can’t miss it in Hanoi. Do visit.

LANE8 COFFEE & WORKSPACE

Lane8 is located at the end of a small alley in Phuong Liet, but the parking space is very comfortable. Entering the yard, you will feel familiar like a home garden, with wooden tables and chairs in the old style, each potted plant and flower pot is arranged together, and there is also a separate area for smoking. If you sit outside, you can ask for mosquito spray to use. The space inside is divided into many different small rooms, each room is furnished with high tables and chairs, electrical outlets, and full of light to serve customers who want to come to study/work. The 3rd floor seems to have not been invested in or cared for much, so although there are quite a few tables and chairs, it is quite messy and not unified according to any concept. The staff are all good, polite and support me when needed, which is also a plus, especially for those who come to sit for a long time to study/work, Lane8 is a pretty okay choice. . #songkran2024 #cherryblossom2024 #historicallandmarks #goodfoods #localguides #foodphotography #coffeeshop #cafe

276A Nghi Tam, Tay Ho, Hanoi ⏰: 8am-11pm 💸 40-65K I was free to wander around West Lake and discovered a familiar shop that changed its decor, so I had to turn around and take a few photos. I have to say that Moment really changes its decor, it's almost summer so there's a corner like a beach vacation. Inside, there's a corner like taking a lookbook in a studio, so cute. The drinks are beautifully decorated, highly recommend the pandan dishes for you guys, they're fragrant and extremely unique. #historicallandmarks #localguides #goodfoods #foodphotography #coffeeshop #cafe

LA DIVAD’ COFFEE

📌 Address: 428 Tay Son, Dong Da, Hanoi 💸 30-60K (free parking) ✍️ Review: Wandering around and found a restaurant that I really liked, so I had to type a few lines here! La Divad is located right at the intersection of Nga Tu So and Duong Lang, extremely easy to find. The first plus point is the spacious parking space. La Divad has 3 floors, the 1st floor is the order counter and some tables for those who like the outdoor view, it looks quite simple. But going up the stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floors, oh my gosh, I say it's so luxurious and smooth, it looks like you're lost in a palace! La Divad is designed entirely with sofas, royal style, so beautiful, and you won't get sore butts if you sit for a long time, it's also warm this season! The most special thing about La Divad is the view that captures the whole view of Nga Tu So through the glass windows on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Oh my god, it's so cold, I like to sit in the glass house, watching the cars go by, feeling like everything is still flowing, and I can be a bit more leisurely. It's a pity that I didn't go at night, because at night I would have captured the whole view of Nga Tu So, so I'll have to leave it for next time! Today I ordered 1 Cheese Cake Cream (50K - highly recommend this dish for you guys - super delicious, rich cheese flavor, fragrantmmm), 1 Green Star (50K - this one has a strange taste, very healthy) 👫 Staff: friendly, extremely cheerful, wherever I go, I always like to meet nice staff like this! La Divad is a great place to visit, guys. Wear a little girly clothes and it's perfect. The view is classy and the price is cheap. Why not tag a poor bean friend and ask him to take a photo with you? #historicallandmarks #localguides #goodfoods #coffeeshop #foodphotography #cafe

A Stunning Vietnamese Cathedral!

Attraction name: St Joseph’s Cathedral Location: Hanoi old quarter in the capital city of Vietnam. St. Joseph Cathedral is a Catholic Church in the heart of Hanoi. The cathedral has lots of history and is beautiful inside and outside. I recommend going to Godmother coffee shop because it’s beside the cathedral and you get stunning views of the cathedral from the second floor whilst sipping an iced coffee. #stjosephschurch #hanoi #vietnam #oldquarter

Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, a 122 years hotel

From the moment I step into the hotel, I was greeted with warmth and friendly smiles from the front desk. From check in to breakfast to check out, everything was impeccable. I am truly impressed by the standards set by this hotel and the warmth hospitality by Hanoians. The hotel itself is full of history. Opened in 1901, it hosted famous guests like Charlie Chaplin, Angelina Jolie and even hosted the famous Trump Kim Summit in 2019. The rooms are of decent size, but luxuriously decorated. The toiletries given is from Balmain. There is Hermes, Rolex and other luxury shops on the ground floor of the hotel. Also there is a popular bar called Angelina Bar which is very instagrammable. I also notice alot of models/influencers coming to the outside of hotel to take photos. During my stay, the hotel was kind enough to give me a box of chocolate from their chocolatier shop down there. I was in awe after I found out the price they sell in the shop! Overall a very nice and relaxing stay in the hotel. Come here to stay, this hotel will certainly pamper you to the fullest, be it a staycation, business or leisure stay. #Sofitel #Hanoi #accorhotels #Sofitelmetropole

Watch the street "Chill" with Tone Gray Cafe 😮 📍 𝟭𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗵𝗼́ Đ𝘂̛́𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗶́𝗻𝗵, 𝗕𝗮 Đ𝗶̀𝗻𝗵, 𝗛𝗡 ⏰ 𝟳𝗔𝗠 - 𝟭𝟭𝗣𝗠 💸 𝟐𝟓-𝟓𝟎ca 🌻 In the hustle and bustle of Hanoi, this is a place to stop to both Chill and watch the streets, and be modern. Located right at the intersection of Pho Duc Chinh + Chau Long, 𝐎𝐤 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 stands out with its gray tones, quite sophisticated and mixed with a bit of Hanoi's cool Kool Ngau. Every small corner is meticulously cared for, taking virtual photos is always a blast. Sitting in front of the porch, chilling and watching the streets, chatting with friends is a delight. Today I tried 3 dishes: peanut butter and almond coffee, banana ice cream coffee and chocolate ice cream. The drink menu is delicious, diverse and trendy, beautifully decorated, and very reasonably priced. The shop has 2 floors with separate spaces, if the 1st floor is an open space with quite chill sidewalk seating corners to watch the traffic, the 2nd floor is a small, pretty closed space with air conditioning for a sufficient working space. Tag the cameraman and come here right away. #historicallandmarks #localguides #goodfoods #foodphotography #coffeeshop #cafe
