Life is a wilderness, not a track.

Life is a wilderness, not a track.

📍Location: Xinxing Windmill Mountain, Yunfu ⛰️ A magical place where windmills and clouds complement each other, so beautiful that it's intoxicating✨ Rent a motorcycle in advance and go up the mountain at 4:30 am on Sunday. The locals recommend Windmill No. 3 for watching the sunrise🌅 Many people also drive off-road vehicles up the mountain to set up tents⛺ If the weather is good, you can also see the beautiful Milky Way at night🌌 The highest altitude is 1,137 meters with a total of 46 wind turbines. The alpine meadows look like endless grasslands. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the windmills gently rotate with the wind, as if telling a magical story of nature. Here, you can feel the magic of nature and take beautiful photos☁️ Pets are allowed and there are many cows here In short, life is worth it!! You have to see the view from the top of the mountain yourself~ Also, don't try to be brave, bring a windbreaker! Otherwise, you will start shivering before the sunrise. Don't ask me how I know this.

Emerging Windmill Hill | Go for a perfect sunset

Emerging Windmill Hill | Go for a perfect sunset

Not every mountain is worth climbing, the emerging windmill hill is most charming with sunrise/evening cloud sea. After going up the wild road, 46 windmills stretch for 5-6 kilometers on different hilltops, connected by a cement road in the middle, the road condition is very good. 🧗Hiking up, location: Uncle Six's Mountain House, reach the 18th windmill (one of the best sunrise viewing points, the other one is at No. 3), about 4KM, walk for 2-3 hours, behind is a continuous cement road, if you want to experience the fun of the wild road, it is recommended to go to the nearby emerging Tianlu Mountain; 🏍️Motorcycle: 150-200 (self-driving, with license), 200-300 (locals take you up the mountain), location: Datang Su Garden Ecological Farm, enter from the iron gate and open the mountain cement road, 30 minutes to the No. 1 windmill, ride and play and take photos along the way, 2-3H is enough to see all 46 windmills, it is recommended to arrive at the foot of the mountain around 3 pm, just stay on the mountain until 6 pm to watch the sunset; 🚙Off-road vehicle, location: Datang Su Garden Ecological Farm, take the No. 5 line around the iron gate, you can ask locals to lead the way or search for the emerging windmill hill No. 5 line by yourself (but the road condition is so bad, really test driving skills + tires), you can also bring tents and small stools up the mountain, have a small camping on the mountain, watch the starry sky sunrise (if you're lucky, there might even be a cloud sea). Speaking of which, if you want to experience camping + sunrise but don't have an off-road vehicle, in fact, Mo Liu Gong Starry Sky Camp is also a good place, SUV can go up, tents, food are provided by the shop, it's also about 3H from Guangzhou. 🏠Accommodation: If you want to see the sunrise and don't want to stay on the top of the mountain, choose , if you like me who have difficulty getting up early and can only watch the sunset, you can stay in Xinxing County (Sheraton is only 600+), drive 40 minutes to the foot of the mountain. 📍Windmill Hill

Yunfu Xinxing Hot Spring, a Zen family trip.

Yunfu Xinxing Hot Spring, a Zen family trip.

We found this treasure by accident when we were wandering around Guangdong. As soon as we entered the Zen Spring Resort Hotel, we were amazed by the Chinese-style decoration, which was simple, elegant, and luxurious. From the lobby to the room, every detail was full of Zen, and it felt like we had traveled back in time. 😃 The hot spring here is very popular, and you have to book early to get in. Many tourists from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan come here, and they must be fascinated by its charm. There is also a Guoen Temple next to the hot spring, where the Sixth Patriarch Zen Master was born and died, which adds a mysterious Zen atmosphere to the hot spring. After soaking in the hot spring with the kids, we went to Guoen Temple to experience the historical and cultural heritage. It was amazing! 👏 In the evening, the Sixth Patriarch Zen Residence of the hotel was lit up with colorful lights, and our family prayed there. It was so warm and cozy, and I still remember it. 😌 The food at the hotel was also very special. The traditional Cantonese morning tea gave us a taste of authentic Guangdong flavor, and the delicious vegetarian food gave our taste buds a new experience. 😍 This family trip to Yunfu Xinxing Hot Spring made us very happy.
