Excellent Vacation Experience at H10 Atlantic Sunset
We stayed from May 16th to 26th, 2026. Having had good experiences with H10 hotels, we chose H10 again. In 2023, we stayed at H10 Costa Adeje Palace in Tenerife. This year, we opted for H10 Atlantic Sunset Horizons Collection, which is a 5-star hotel. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of bubbly, and after check-in, our luggage was taken to our room. The room was spacious and stunning, with large beds. The bathroom tiles were familiar, a signature style of H10 hotels, which was a nice touch.
The main building housed the restaurant, coffee bar, theater, lobby, and shop. Guest rooms were spread across three buildings: one for families with children, another for couples, and the third for Privilege guests seeking extra luxury. Rooms were accessed via a wristband tag, which could also be used to pay for extra drinks or meals not included in the booking. We typically choose half-board as the extra cost for all-inclusive seems unnecessary, especially since we like to explore by car for a few days. There’s also the option to swap dinner for lunch if you prefer to dine out in the evening.
On the days we stayed at the hotel, we had lunch at the pool bar. While some menu items were not entirely worth the price, the service was excellent and the food was good. The area around the first building had a family-friendly pool with a water park, playground, playroom, and craft area for kids. Next to the second building, there was a spacious pool with ample sunbeds featuring comfortable mattresses. We were pleased to see there was always enough space, and guests didn’t reserve spots with towels, or at least we didn’t notice it.
At the back of the third building, an infinity pool overlooks the sea and La Gomera. There’s another infinity pool on the roof of the same building, but it’s private and restricted. It likely offers an incredible experience. Beneath the third building, there are four restaurants: Stromboli (Italian), Sakura (teppanyaki), Route 66 (American steak and burgers), and The View (exclusive to Privilege guests). We dined at Stromboli, where half-board guests receive a 30% discount. While we appreciated this, it was disappointing that the discount didn’t apply to Sakura, unlike our experience at the other H10 hotel. Nevertheless, the food at Stromboli was fantastic.
Below the infinity pool lies a well-equipped, 24/7 gym with plenty of machines and training equipment, with towels readily available—everything was well-organized. There’s also a hair salon and a full-service spa, which looked excellent though we didn’t use it. Beach towels were provided in the rooms and could be exchanged daily by the pool. In the evenings, there was live music and drinks in the lobby, creating a lively atmosphere. The staff were always friendly and up for a chat. We had a great time with Marcus Gomez and would like to send him our regards.
A big shoutout to the housekeeping team as well—they worked incredibly hard to keep everything immaculate. A piece of advice for future guests: request a pool-view room. We had a room on the other side of the building and experienced significant noise from the nearby Hard Rock Hotel. For a quieter stay, go for the pool side.
In conclusion:
· Fantastic hotel.
· Great food and drinks.
· Beautiful, clean pools.
In short, highly recommended!
