◼︎Fukuyama Castle
Built by Mizuno Katsunari, cousin of Tokugawa Ieyasu
The castle is famous for the iron plate covering on the north side of the castle tower, and for the buildings such as the Fushimi Tower and Tsukimi Tower that were relocated from Fushimi Castle during the Tokugawa Ieyasu era.
◼︎Mihara Castle
To climb the castle tower of Mihara Castle, you can access it from the dedicated passage on the first floor of JR Mihara Station.
Mihara Station on the Sanyo Shinkansen is the site of the main citadel of Mihara Castle.
There is a stone wall under the station overpass. There are remains
◼︎Mihara Castle Funair Tower Ruins
Mihara Castle is a famous castle with a boat harbor facing the sea, and functions as both a castle and a naval port.
Because it juts out into the sea, it was built using small and large islands on the coast.
The reef is the foundation of the stone wall, and it can still be seen in the stone wall of the Funair Tower Ruins
◼︎Akitakata City History and Folklore Museum
There is a Mori Motonari corner, and the Mori clan is introduced in detail through a model of Koriyama Castle and videos, so it is recommended to visit both places at the Koriyama Castle Ruins
The back of the building is the entrance to the Koriyama Castle ruins

Hiroshima Prefecture, Yuga Garden
Located in Aki-Takata City, its official name is the Wakunaga Mitsuyuki Memorial Garden. It is owned by a company called Wakunaga Pharmaceuticals, but is open to the public free of charge, and parking is also free. You can enjoy various flowers depending on the season, but personally, I think the roses in May are the most beautiful. It must be a lot of work to maintain the vast grounds, planting and pruning, but the strong local pride that has allowed it to continue to be open to the public for so many years is impressive. Visitors should also be mindful of good manners when visiting.

Cherry blossoms at Lake Yachiyo (Akitakata City, Hiroshima Prefecture)
#Spring0yenTrip
In spring, the scenery of Lake Yachiyo's cherry blossoms spreads out like something out of a picture book. The rows of cherry blossom trees that surround the lake are a spectacular sight, and you can enjoy a cherry blossom-viewing drive while driving slowly♪ The reflection of the cherry blossoms on the lake surface is particularly beautiful. There is also a promenade, so you can take a leisurely stroll while being enveloped in the spring breeze and the scent of cherry blossoms, which is truly a relaxing experience!

[Hiroshima] Geibi Line: A local line where you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons
#Spring0yenTrip
The JR Geibi Line stretches 159.1km from Hiroshima Station to Bitchu-Kamishiro Station in the north of Okayama Prefecture. While it is used by many people for commuting to work or school in the outskirts of Hiroshima, it is also a famous local line for train enthusiasts, with some sections having the lowest usage in Japan in some years. Between Hiroshima and Miyoshi, diesel railcars from the days of the national railway are in use, with about one train per hour. With seasonal scenery unfolding from the train windows, it is used as a means of transportation between Hiroshima and the north of the prefecture, but in recent years the number of passengers has dropped significantly. There are only about five people on board trains with two or three cars at any given time. I wish there were more people on the line!!! (From a resident along the line)
