Uninhabited and mystical island
The uninhabited island of Lamanok in Anda, Bohol – a two-hour drive from Tagbilaran City – consists of limestone outcrops with fascinating cultural and archaeological sites. Evoking an eerie atmosphere, the mystical island is cloaked in tangled foliage and obscured by thick mangroves that stretch back to the mainland. For an island its size, Lamanok Island surprisingly brims with so much history and folklore. Unforgettable tour
During a visit to this island, the tide is high and visitors may reach the island via bankas. These are the same paddleboats that the locals use for fishing. An unusual attraction that you will find here is a giant clam shell embedded in one of the rocks which proves that these formations have rose from the sea in the past. Such theory has been recently proven by the October 15, 2013 earthquake, wherein the island of Punta Cruz rose to about a meter – resulting to the coastline receding by some 50 – 100 meters. Events such as these explain the overhanging walls that you can see in Lamanok. So next time you visit Bohol, make sure to include Lamanok Mystic Island Tour on your itinerary.

Kabagow Full Cave.
I love places with wonderful nature. I was very sad when we visited that place because it was temporarily closed for swimming or going down into the cave by the government. But I still enjoyed the place.
A great place to visit while traveling in Bohol. Bring your swimsuit because there are diving options, the water is a deep blue, cool and fresh. Highly recommended.
A very cool cave pool, a great experience to dive in and see the rock structures up close. A well-maintained area with new metal ladders to climb in and out. The fee is 50 pesos along with the Tibaw Cave Pool (also nice but there was quite a bit of trash when we got there).
I have always loved this place. You can go inside. The best time is at noon when the sun shines directly over the water. You can see it from below. Children can jump as long as they know how to swim. If you need a swimming jacket, people will also help you.

Dive into the Beauty of Anda's Sea - A Wetter Wonderland. 🌊💦
The depths of Cabagnow Cave in Anda, Bohol, beckoned me with an air of mystery and allure. As I ventured into the cool darkness, my footsteps echoing against the walls, I couldn't help but feel a sense of adventure and wonder. The crystal-clear waters that filled the cave invited me to immerse myself in its depths, to explore the hidden wonders that lay beneath the surface. In that moment, I realized that Cabagnow Cave was not just a physical space; it was a gateway to the unknown, a metaphor for the unexplored realms of life. As I swam in its ethereal waters and marveled at the stalactites that adorned the cave, I couldn't help but feel a sense of connection to something greater than myself.

Mystic Adventure
We reach this island on boat(bankas). From the shore to the hinterlands, it only takes about 10 minutes. The adventure starts on a long bamboo dock, which leads to a large mangrove forest. A tour guide is with you all the way as you can't hike the island on your own.The boardwalk stretches to about 310 meters and is supported down by strings of big bamboo poles. Along the way, you will find various varieties of nipas and mangroves. You will feel small in the forest surrounded by big trees and mangroves. Don’t walk too fast here, and take some time to study the fascinating roots of these trees, and try to spot some animals that are hidden within these mangroves. Such a fun adventure on this mystic island, Lamanok Island.
