Two thousand years ago, when Roman legions set foot here, they were conquered by the 36°C sulfur springs bubbling from the earth. The bathhouses they built now form the foundation of the Römertherme (Roman Spa).

I have done it twice already and for sure will do it again. It is 12km or 2hours 30 minutes hiking mostly in the forest. On the highest point there is a view tower and a very few places to eat or have a drink! There is also a construction similar to a ball (photo 3) which is used by sky guide for the navigation of civil aircrafts! Wear hiking shoes because just before the way is steep and narrow, However there is an alternative route which we took. how to get there: from Zürich Main Station 35min on S15 train to Dielsdorf then continue on bus 593 to Regensburg! On the way back from Baden there are many trains 🚆 to different places. by car there are some free parking lots on the road between Regensberg an Buchs!
